Frequently Asked Questions - G-Power 2 Pro GIGABYTE

How do I install the G-Power 2 Pro cooler?
Refer to the included manual. Typically, you attach the backplate behind the motherboard, apply thermal paste, mount the cooler with the provided brackets, and connect the fan to a 4-pin PWM header.
Which sockets are supported?
The cooler supports Intel LGA 1200, 1151, 1150, 1155 and AMD AM4, AM3+, FM2+. Check for updated compatibility on Gigabyte's website.
Can I replace the fan?
Yes, the fan is standard 120 mm and can be replaced with any 120 mm fan with 4-pin PWM connector. Remove the clips to swap.
How do I clean the cooler?
Turn off the PC and disconnect. Use compressed air to blow dust from the fins and fan. For stubborn dust, use a soft brush. Avoid water.
Is the cooler loud under load?
At maximum speed (1800 RPM), noise is around 28 dBA. At idle (800 RPM), it is very quiet at 17 dBA. PWM allows silent operation.
Does it come with thermal paste?
Yes, a small tube of thermal paste is included. Apply a pea-sized drop to the CPU surface before mounting.
What is the maximum TDP the G-Power 2 Pro can handle?
The cooler is rated for up to 150W TDP, suitable for mid-range CPUs. For higher TDP CPUs, consider a stronger cooler.
Will it fit in my case?
The cooler height is 155 mm. Ensure your case width is at least 160 mm to accommodate it. Check CPU cooler clearance specifications.
How do I adjust fan speed?
Connect to a 4-pin PWM motherboard header. Use BIOS or software (e.g., EasyTune) to set a fan curve. The cooler supports PWM control.
Is the cooler compatible with RGB?
No, the G-Power 2 Pro does not have RGB lighting. It focuses on performance with a black/neutral design.
