Why is the Power LED not lit?
Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the switch and to a working power outlet. Verify the power source meets the required input voltage (220-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz). If the adapter is faulty, replace it with a compatible one.
Why is the Link/Act LED off when a device is connected?
Check that the Ethernet cable is firmly plugged into both the switch and the device. Ensure the connected device is powered on and functioning. The cable must not exceed 100 meters (328 feet); if Extend mode is enabled, up to 250 meters (820 feet) is allowed.
Why are PoE ports not supplying power?
The total PoE budget is 65W. If exceeded, ports with lower numbers (e.g., port 1,2) have priority. Power to higher-numbered ports may be cut off. Reduce power consumption or disconnect non-essential PoE devices.
How to enable Extend mode?
Toggle the Extend switch on the device. When On, ports 1-4 operate at 10 Mbps and can deliver PoE up to 250 meters. When Off, ports run at 10/100 Mbps with a maximum PoE distance of 100 meters.
Can I connect non-PoE devices to PoE ports?
Yes, PoE ports also transmit data to non-PoE devices, but PoE power is not supplied. The device will work normally without power over Ethernet.
What is the maximum power per PoE port?
Each PoE port can deliver up to 30 W, compliant with IEEE 802.3at (PoE+). The total budget is 65 W, so simultaneous high-power devices may be limited.
How to wall-mount the LS106P?
Drill two holes 39 mm apart on the wall. Insert suitable screws (not included) leaving heads protruding. Align the switch's mounting holes with the screws and slide down to lock.
What does the PoE Auto Recovery feature do?
When enabled, the switch monitors PoE devices. If a device stops responding, the switch reboots it by cutting and restoring power. Disable this feature when updating device firmware or if the device enters sleep mode.
How to reset the switch to factory defaults?
There is no reset button on this unmanaged switch. Disconnect power, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect to reboot. Settings like Extend, Isolation, and Auto Recovery return to defaults (Off).
What cable types are supported?

Switches Explanation

Note: The numbers in brackets indicate the ports where the feature takes effect. For example, when Extend (Port 1-4) is toggled to On, the Extend mode will be enabled for ports 1-4.

Recovery

Off: The PoE Auto Recovery function is disabled.

On: The switch will constantly detect the working status of a PoE powered device (PD). When the switch finds that the PD works abnormally, the switch will reboot it.

Isolation

Off: Ports can transmit data with each other.

On: The corresponding ports cannot transmit data with other downlink ports. They can transmit data only with the uplink port.

Wall-mounting:

Drill two holes on the wall according to the mounting holes on the bottom of the switch, then secure the switch to the wall with two suitable screws (not provided).

Q1. Why is the Power LED not lit?

The Power LED should be lit when the power system is working normally. If the Power LED is not lit, please check as follows:

A1: Make sure the AC power cord/power adapter is connected the switch with power source properly.
A2: Make sure the voltage of the power supply meets the requirements of the input voltage of the switch.
A3: Make sure the power source is on.

Q2. Why is the Link/Act LED not lit when a device is connected to the corresponding port?

It is recommended that you check the following items:

A1: Make sure that the cable connectors are firmly plugged into the switch and the device.
A2: Make sure the connected device is turned on and working well.
A3: The cable must be less than 100 meters long (328 feet). If Extend Mode is enabled, it should be less than 250 meters (820 feet).

Q3. Why are PoE ports not supplying power for PoE devices?

When the total power consumption of connected PoE devices exceeds the maximum, the PoE port with a smaller port number has a higher priority. The system will cut off power to the ports with larger port numbers to ensure supplying to other ports.

Take LS106P as an example. If port 1, 2 and 4 are consuming 15 W respectively, and an additional PoE device with 25 W is inserted to port 3, the system will cut off the power of port 4 to compensate for the overload.

Q4. What should I notice before using the PoE Auto Recovery feature?

A1: Before upgrading a connected PoE powered device (PD), disable PoE Auto Recovery to avoid the PD's damage.
A2: When a PD does not send data packets to the switch for a long period in certain scenarios (e.g. an IPC in sleep mode), disable PoE Auto Recovery to avoid the PD repeatedly rebooting.
