How do I pair the JAM Transit Comfort HX-EP700 headphones with my phone?

Turn on the headphones by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes blue and red. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select 'JAM Transit Comfort HX-EP700' from the device list. If prompted, enter '0000' as the PIN.

How do I reset the headphones?

To reset, press and hold both the volume up and volume down buttons for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red twice. The headphones will power off. Turn them back on and re-pair if needed.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?

The battery lasts up to 20 hours on a full charge. Use the included USB-C cable to charge. Connect to a USB power source (e.g., computer or wall adapter). Fully charging takes about 2 hours. The LED turns solid red while charging and turns off when complete.

Are the headphones water resistant?

No, the JAM Transit Comfort HX-EP700 are not water-resistant. Avoid exposure to rain, sweat, or moisture to prevent damage.

How do I activate and use Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)?

Press the ANC button on the left ear cup once to turn on noise cancellation. The LED will turn green. Press again to toggle between ANC on, ambient mode (if available), or off. ANC reduces background noise for an immersive listening experience.

Can I use the headphones with a wired connection?

Yes, you can use the included 3.5mm audio cable for wired listening. This is useful when the battery is low or on devices without Bluetooth. Note that ANC and other wireless features may not be available in wired mode.

How do I use the microphone for calls?

The built-in microphone automatically activates during calls. Use the on-ear controls to answer or end calls. For best performance, ensure the microphone is not blocked and hold the headphones normally.

How should I clean and maintain the headphones?

Wipe the ear cushions and headband with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or chemicals. For ear pad replacement, gently pull off the old pads and snap on new ones (compatible pads can be purchased separately). Store in the carrying case when not in use.

What is the wireless range?

The Bluetooth range is up to 33 feet (10 meters) from the source device. Walls and obstacles may reduce the range. Keep the phone or device nearby for stable connection.

How can I check the battery level?

On iOS or Android, the battery level may appear in the Bluetooth settings or status bar when connected. Alternatively, when turning on the headphones, listen for a voice prompt announcing the battery level. A low battery warning will also be announced when power is low.

JUST CHARGE IT

Charging the earbuds is so easy you've probably figured it out by now, but just in case, you've got two options: you can charge them using your computer or a wall outlet. The Comfort Buds need about 1 hour of charge for up to 10 hours of party time.

1. The cord that came with the earbuds — the one with the USB on one end and the micro USB on the other — will work with your computer.
2. If you want to use the wall outlet, you'll need to pick up a power cord with a micro USB the next time you're at the store, or use any USB AC adapter, including the one for your cell phone.

BLUETOOTH® CONNECTION — IT'S A SETUP

Like any amazing couple, this one starts with a connection — one between your device and the earbuds' Bluetooth. Here's how it works:

1. Make sure the smartphone, tablet, or computer you're using with the earbuds has Bluetooth.
2. Turn on the earbuds (press and hold play/pause for 6 seconds) and look for the little blinking light.
3. Do whatever your device needs you to do on its end.
4. Look for Jam Comfort Buds in your device's Bluetooth list or click YES.
5. Now hit PLAY on your earbuds and crank it up — or down if you're lame.

The device and Bluetooth will find each other every time, as long as the earbuds are set to Bluetooth and your device's Bluetooth is, you know, on. If you're connecting to a computer, you may have some extra steps on that end. You'll have to get that information from the computer company. Depending on your device, you may be prompted to enter a pairing code. If prompted, enter "0000" as the code.

Note: If you turn on your Comfort Buds but haven't started the party yet, they will automatically power off after 2 minutes of unpaired inactivity.

COMING CLEAN

A soft, dry towel is all you need to clean off your earbuds. Using water, harsh cleaners, or anything else only starts messing with the mechanics inside. So, yeah, don't do it.

LOOK MA, NO HANDS!

When friends call to interrupt your party of one — and you know they will — answer the phone without disconnecting from your JAM Comfort Buds. Yes, that's right. Your earbuds have hands-free calling, too. How amazing is that? Here's how it works:

1. Make sure your phone and earbuds are connected through Bluetooth.
2. Answering and ending a call works the same way: simply click the PLAY/PAUSE button on your Comfort Buds.
3. If you'd rather not talk, hold down the PLAY/PAUSE button on your Comfort Buds for 3 seconds to ignore the call.

THE COOLEST PART: The Comfort Buds know when a call is coming in and pause the music before ringing. When you hang up, the music starts where it left off — and so does the party. If it's you making the call, just start dialing from your phone, and the Comfort Buds automatically do their hands-free thing. Isn't it refreshing to know your earbuds totally get you?
