What size power supply does the RSV-Z2600 require?

The RSV-Z2600 accepts a standard ATX power supply (not included). For server reliability, a 550W or higher unit is recommended.

Can I install a full-height graphics card in this case?

Yes, but only if you use a riser card to rotate the GPU horizontally. The case supports up to 7 expansion slots in low-profile or full-height form with the appropriate riser.

How many hard drives can I install?

The case has 6 hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays in the front, plus 2 internal 2.5-inch bays (mounting optional) and 2 external 5.25-inch bays for optical drives.

Does it come with rack rails?

Yes, adjustable rack rails are included for mounting in standard 19-inch server racks.

Is the front bezel lockable?

Yes, the front bezel includes a key lock to secure the drives and buttons.

What type of cooling fans are pre-installed?

The case comes with two 120mm exhaust fans in the rear. It also has front fan mounts for two 120mm fans (optional).

Can I use a standard ATX motherboard?

Yes, the RSV-Z2600 supports standard ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini ITX motherboards. The maximum motherboard size is 12 x 10.5 inches.

How do I clean the air filters?

The front intake has a removable mesh filter that can be pulled out and rinsed with water. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.

Are spare drive trays available?

Yes, replacement hot-swap drive trays can be purchased from Rosewill or third-party sellers. Check the model number RSV-Z2600 for compatibility.

What is the maximum CPU cooler height?

The case has limited clearance for CPU coolers due to the 2U form factor. The maximum height is approximately 3.8 inches (97 mm).

Introduction

RSV-Z2600 is a 2U rackmount server chassis for various kinds of server computer which supports up to 9.6 x 9.6 Micro-ATX and smaller form factor motherboard design and PS2 power supply.

Top Cover Disassembly

1. Remove the screws from each side of the Chassis. (two on each side)

1. Once the screws removed, push the top cover to remove from the chassis.

1. Due to the limited space of the 2U chassis, please follow our recommended steps when installing Motherboard, Power Supply, and HDD for RSV-Z2600.

2. After remove the top cover, please remove all HDD cage.

3. Now, you can place a Micro-ATX Motherboard into the chassis, and fasten the screws.

1. After installing the Motherboard, you can follow by installing the Power Supply.

2. To Install Power Supply, you press the Power Supply against the rear of the Chassis, and fasten the screws on the four corners.

3. You can then connect all cables for the PSU and Motherboard.

4. After lock the HDD on to the cage, You can then install the cage onto the Chassis, from Left to Right.

Note: You may want to adjust the cables so they won't interfere with the other connectors on the board. Also due to the limitation on height, RAM with heat sink may cause issues.

1. For the HDD Cage on the right side, it can take up to 2x 3.5" HDD or 1x 3.5"HDD + 1x 2.5" HDD. You can place the Cage vertically when you are using a standard ATX PS2 power supply (140x150x86mm)

1. You can also place the HDD Cage horizontally if you uses longer ATX power supply (165x150x86mm)
