Frequently Asked Questions - MSP 210V RGBlink

How do I connect the MSP 210V to my devices?
Use HDMI or SDI cables to connect your source (e.g., camera) to the input, and connect the output to your display. For audio, use the analog audio inputs/outputs if needed.
Does the MSP 210V support 4K resolution?
No, the MSP 210V supports up to 1080p 60Hz. For 4K, consider the RGBlink MSP 211V or higher models.
How do I embed audio into the SDI output?
Connect your analog audio source to the audio input jacks. The converter will automatically embed the audio into the SDI stream. Ensure the audio input is enabled in the settings (if adjustable).
Can I use the device without external power?
No, the MSP 210V requires a DC 12V power supply (included). It does not support PoE or battery operation.
What is the maximum cable length for HDMI input?
For reliable 1080p signals, use HDMI cables up to 15 meters. Longer distances may require signal boosters.
How do I switch between input sources?
The MSP 210V typically auto-detects the input signal. If multiple inputs are active, use the front panel button or remote (if available) to select the desired input.
The video output is flickering. What should I do?
Check cable connections and ensure the input resolution is supported (up to 1080p). Try a different cable or power cycle the device. If issue persists, check the EDID settings.
Is there a web interface for configuration?
The MSP 210V may have a web GUI accessible via Ethernet (if equipped). Refer to the manual for default IP address and login details.
How do I update the firmware?
Download the latest firmware from RGBlink's website. Connect your computer via USB or Ethernet, then follow the upgrade instructions in the manual.
What is the power consumption in standby mode?
Standby power consumption is typically less than 1W. For exact figures, refer to the specifications section of the manual.
