This manual provides information on the proper way to use the baby walker and the simplest way to assemble it. It will also help you to avoid incorrect use. Please keep the manual handy.

Turn the chassis/frame upside-down and insert the 4 wheels (2+2) in their corresponding holes in the lower ring of the chassis. A "click" will indicate the correct assembly. Make sure that all 4 wheels are properly fixed.
2. Assembly of the braking blocks
Insert the 8 blocks of braking into the corresponding holes as shown in the diagram (fig. 02).
3. Opening the baby walker
To open the baby walker, hold the lower ring of the chassis and pull up the seat area to its highest position.
4. Seat installation
Push down the crotch to form the seat. Keep the cover fabric on the inside of the seat (fig. 4a). Put the seat in the upper ring of the chassis. A back support in plastic is inserted in the backrest.
The highest part of the seat should be facing the rear part of the tray.
Put the front pivots in corresponding holes and push downwards for locking (fig 4d).
Insert the rear pivots in the seats arranged along the compartment in the upper ring and fix with the plastic nuts (fig 4b-4c). Ensure a proper snap fit, the clips have to hook properly and jut out on the bottom surface of the upper ring.
Ensure that seat and safety devices are correctly fasten before using the walker.
5. Height adjustment and safety lock
The walker has a dual-safety control device to prevent accidental closing.
Push down the button A and at the same time rotate it clockwise (fig. 5a - 5b) for regulation of the height. Adjust the seat to wanted height and release the button. Ensure a proper locking of the seat in the new position. (fig. 5c).
6. Insert or changing batteries of the music device.
The playing tray needs 2 alkaline batteries size AA (not included).
To open the battery compartment slide the top to the right and open it as shown in the figure. Place the batteries as shown in the figure.
Close the compartment following the previous steps in reverse order.
Fit the playing tray in its place following the instructions given in section (fig. 06).
INFORMATION ON THE BATTERIES
IMPORTANT: Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Recommended batteries:
- 2 batteries AA 1.5 V (not included).
- The use of alkaline batteries to be thrown away is recommended.
- The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended for this product.
- Replace the batteries when the sound or vibration does not work correctly.
Precautions with the batteries:
- Always insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
- Do absolutely not throw the batteries in a fire. They can explode.
- The batteries can easily be swallowed by children and cause dangerous consequences.
- If you think that your child swallowed a battery, contact urgently a doctor.
- Never leave children to handle the batteries. Keep the batteries away from their reach.
- Never mix different types of batteries or new and old together. Always substitute all batteries at the same time.
- For safety, remove worn out batteries from the product.
- Never recharge normal not rechargeable or alkaline batteries. It could cause explosion or leakage of liquids.
- Remove the batteries if you won't use the product for long time.
- Do not short-circuit the power clamps.
- Do not throw batteries in the garbage, but bring them to collection points.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

WARNING: Never leave the child unattended.
WARNING: The child will be able to reach further and move rapidly when in the baby walking frame:
- Prevent access to stairs, steps and uneven surfaces;
- Guard all fires, heating and cooking appliances;
- Remove hot liquids, electrical flexes and other potential hazards from reach;
- Prevent collisions with glass in doors, windows and furniture;
- Do not use the baby walking frame if any components are broken or missing;
- This baby walking frame should be used only for short periods of time (e.g. 20 min);
- This baby walking frame is intended to be used by children who can sit unaided, approximately from 6 months. It is not intended for children weighing more than 12 kg.

Do not use replacement parts other than those approved by the manufacturer or distributor.

Do not use the walker with children who are unable to stand and sit up alone.
- Keep plastic bags and all packaging components away from children to avoid danger of suffocation.
- The product must be assembled by an adult.
- Check that the walker is assembled correctly.
- Make sure that the child is always under your supervision when using the walker.
- Before use, check all the locking systems.
- Before use, check that the seat is correctly adjusted for the height of your child: your child's feet must touch the floor.
- Keep children away when adjusting the walker, when mounting accessories or when not in use.
- Do not allow your child to approach open fires, heating appliances or any product which may cause burns.
- The base of the walker has an anti-slip device, to ensure that it locks when near to stairs or steps.
- For safety reasons, never let your child go near stairs or steps that do not have a safety gate, or roads or the edges of a swimming pool, as there is a risk of serious harm or death.
- Use only inside the house.
- Does not have brakes, do not use on slopes.
- Do not leave any objects or cables on the floor, as these may cause the walker to overturn.
- Do not allow your child to pour liquids onto the musical device as it may short-circuit.
- Do not carry out any modification that could compromise its safety.
- Do not use spare parts other than those approved by the manufacturer or distributor.
- Check regularly that the walker is operating correctly and that there are no damaged or broken components.
- Do not use the walker if a component is damaged, broken or missing.

Do not carry the walker with your child inside it.

Do not make adjustments with your child inside the walker.
- Never lift the walker up gripping it by the musical game.
- To preserve its effectiveness, clean the anti-slip device regularly with a damp cloth.
- Do not use the walker if one or all of the non-slip devices are missing.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth or neutral detergent (no solvents) and dry thoroughly.
- Clean the fabric parts with a solution of warm water and mild detergent.
- Do not wash in a washing machine.
- Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
- Before using or storing the product for future use, make sure it is completely dry.
- To preserve its effectiveness, clean the anti-slip device regularly with a damp cloth.
FORMAL GUARANTEE
The contents of this document as stated below will come into effect as from 01.01.2005 and replace, on every account and in full, any previous message referring to the guarantee provided by Foppa Pedretti S.p.A.
FORMAL GUARANTEE
Foppa Pedretti S.p.A. the head office of which is located at n. 11 Via Volta, Grumello del Monte (Italy), guarantees directly to the Consumer that this brand new product is free of faults with regard to the materials, design and manufacture and that it complies with the characteristics as declared by the manufacturer. This formal guarantee is valid in all Member Countries of the European Union and it neither excludes nor limits the Consumer's rights in accordance with mandatory measures provided for by the law with regard to the Retailer of the Product.
To take advantage of this formal guarantee, the Consumer must return the faulty product to the Retailer, presenting to the same the proof of purchase of the Product which must clearly show the Retailer's address, the date of purchase of the Product with the Retailer's stamp and signature and an indication of the Product itself or, alternatively, the receipt which must not have been altered and which must clearly show the same information as that referred to above.
The formal guarantee is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase of the Product. During this period, Foppa Pedretti S.p.A. will repair or replace the faulty product, at its own discretion.
The formal guarantee is granted to the end buyer of the Product (Consumer) and it neither excludes nor limits the mandatory rights of the Consumer as provided for by the law and/or the rights that the Consumer may have with regard to the Dealer/Retailer of the Product.
EXCLUSIONS TO THE FORMAL GUARANTEE.
The formal guarantee is excluded in the case of damage caused to the Product for the following reasons: if the product is used in a way that does not comply with the information contained in the use and assembly instruction sheet, if the product is knocked or dropped, if the Product is exposed to humidity or extreme heat or environmental conditions, or to sudden changes in the same, corrosion, oxidization, unauthorized alterations or repairs to the Product, repairs using unauthorised spare parts, improper use, improper maintenance or failure to carry out the same, improper maintenance compared to the information given on the use and assembly instruction sheet, incorrect assembly, accidents, damage caused by food or drink, damage caused by chemical products, cases of force majeure.
In any case, Foppa Pedretti S.p.A. declines all responsibility for damage caused to persons or to property, other than the Product, when such damage is caused by a failure to comply with the instructions/advice/warnings cont a ined in the manual or, alternatively, in the use and assembly instruction sheet provided with each Product for the owner/user. (Purely as an example, in the case of a cot: "Check your baby constantly. Make sure that the sheets and blankets do not cover the baby's head...").
Furthermore, Foppa Pedretti S.p.A. declines all responsibility for damage to persons and to property when the breakage of its products is due to a deterioration in the components of the Product that are subject to wear. All the components of the Product made of plastic are considered to be components subject to wear.
