How do I connect my AwoX Striim ST-W decoder?

Connect the decoder to your TV via the HDMI cable (included). Then connect the power adapter and turn on the decoder. For internet access, connect an Ethernet cable or configure Wi-Fi in the settings menu.

How do I scan for channels?

Go to Settings > Channel Scan. Choose your antenna type (DVB-T/T2 for terrestrial, DVB-S/S2 for satellite). Select automatic scan and wait for completion. The decoder will store all found channels.

Why is there no signal?

Ensure the antenna cable is securely connected to the RF IN port. Check that the correct input source is selected on your TV. Try a manual channel scan or verify the antenna is properly positioned. If using satellite, ensure the LNB power is enabled in settings.

Can I record TV shows?

This model does not have a built-in PVR feature. Recording is not supported via USB or internal storage. Only live TV viewing and media playback from USB are available.

How do I update the firmware?

Firmware updates can be received over-the-air (OTA) when available. Go to Settings > Software Update and check for updates. Alternatively, you can download the latest firmware from the AwoX support website and install via USB.

How do I reset the decoder to factory settings?

Go to Settings > Factory Reset. Confirm the action. The decoder will reboot and erase all user settings, including channel lists. You will need to scan channels again.

The remote control is not working. What should I do?

First, check the batteries and replace them if needed. Ensure there are no obstacles between the remote and the decoder. Try pressing the STANDBY button to turn on the decoder. If still not working, pair the remote again (refer to manual) or contact support for a replacement.

Can I use a USB keyboard or mouse?

Yes, the USB port supports standard USB HID devices like keyboards and mice for easier text entry and navigation in some apps or menus. However, compatibility may vary.

How do I set up parental controls?

Go to Settings > Parental Control. Set a PIN code (default is 0000). You can then lock specific channels or restrict content by rating. You will need the PIN to access locked channels.

What should I do if the decoder freezes or becomes unresponsive?

Unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This will reboot the decoder. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset or contact AwoX support.

This guide will show you how to set up your StriimSTICK™ adapter and turn your TV into an Android-powered smart TV in a few easy steps.

Before your begin

Charge your air-mouse using the provided USB cable.

Air-mouse remote control

Your AwoX StriimSTICK includes a wireless air-mouse to control an arrow-cursor on your TV screen. Use this remote control like a tradional mouse, as well as to simulate various swipe movements supported by the Android operang system. Recharging the air-mouse baery

To recharge the baery in your air-mouse, simply unplug the USB charging cable from the StriimSTICK dongle when you are not using it, and insert the cable into the micro-USB port on the air-mouse.

AwoX StriimSTICK setup

Set up StriimSTICK on your TV

1. Plug the air-mouse adapter into the top of the StriimSTICK.
2. To provide power to the StriimSTICK, plug the micro-USB connector into the appropriate port on StriimSTICK.

3. Plug the other USB cable end: - into a USB port on your TV - or, into the provided AC adapter and then plug the adapter into a wall socket.

4. Plug the StriimSTICK into a free HDMI port on your TV. If it is dicult to posion the dongle directly, use the provided HDMI extension cable.

5. Turn on your TV. The StriimSTICK takes about 1 minute to startup fully.

1. Use your regular TV remote control to select the appropriate HDMI port to view the StriimSTICK welcome screen.

2. On the front of the air-mouse, slide the ON/OFF switch to "ON" to establish the conncon with the StriimSTICK.

Note: Press the ✝ buon on the side of the remote control to reacvate the mouse cursor if it no longer appears on the TV screen.

Connect StriimSTICK to your home Wi-Fi network

1. Select Sengs on the StriimSTICK home screen.

2. Select Wi-Fi (click "ON" if necessary).

3. Select your home Wi-Fi router in the list.

1. Enter your router's password (some routers may be case-sensitive to the characters you enter here).

2. Click on Connect.
