Frequently Asked Questions - WA7212 Exquisit

What is the correct way to clean the detergent drawer?
Remove the drawer by pressing the release catch. Wash it under running water using a soft brush. Use a toothpick to clear the fabric softener compartment. Wipe dry before reinserting.
How do I resolve an E10 error code?
Error E10 indicates a water inlet issue. First, check that the water tap is fully open. Then inspect the inlet hose for kinks or blockages. Clean the inlet filter inside the machine connection. If the error persists, contact support.
What is the maximum load for a synthetic cycle?
For synthetic fabrics, the maximum load is 3.5 kg. Overloading may cause poor washing results or imbalance.
Can the washing machine be installed under a counter?
Yes, the WA7212 is a freestanding model that can be placed under a counter provided there is sufficient clearance for ventilation (at least 5 cm on sides and top). Use the supplied top panel if required.
How often should I run a drum cleaning cycle?
We recommend running a drum cleaning cycle every 2 months or after 30 washes. Use a washing machine cleaner or run a hot water cycle (90°C) with a cup of vinegar or citric acid.
What is the child lock function and how to activate it?
The child lock prevents accidental button presses during a cycle. To activate, press and hold the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds. A sound signal confirms activation. Repeat to deactivate.
Why is the spin cycle not starting or taking too long?
This may be due to an unbalanced load. Pause the cycle, redistribute laundry evenly, and restart. Also ensure the drain hose is not clogged. If the issue persists, check for a faulty drain pump or lid switch.
Where can I find the serial number?
The serial number is located on the rating plate, which is usually on the back of the machine or inside the door frame. It is needed for warranty claims or spare part orders.
How do I clean the drain pump filter?
Unplug the machine. Open the lower service flap. Place a tray under the filter. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Clean out any debris and ensure the impeller rotates freely. Reinstall tightly.
What does the delay start feature do?
Delay start allows you to program the machine to start a cycle after a set time (e.g., 3, 6, 9 hours). Useful to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates or to have laundry ready at a specific time.

natural_image Close-up of a white door handle with a circular knob and a circular button (no text or symbols visible)

— to make sure that pockets on clothes are empty, broken parts of clothes should be stitched, zippers, belts, clasps and hooks should be fastened, hardly removable stains should preliminarily be eliminated (see. 7.3);

— sand is to be removed from clothes (pockets, lapels);
— goods with applications are to be turned inside out.

ATTENTION! Penetration of metal objects (coins, clamps, etc)

to the machine together with the goods may become a reason of damage of the rubber seal and the plastic tank of the machine. These malfunctions are not subject to warranty repair.

7.1.2 Small goods (handkerchiefs, socks, etc.), brassieres with beads, as well as delicate goods (thin tights, stockings) should be put to a special bag before washing.
7.1.3 For getting better results of washing and wringing out it is recommended to wash big and small goods together.

IT IS PROHIBITED to load only the goods made of fabrics absorbing a big amount of water (terry towels, dressing gowns, carpets, etc).

7.1.4 Before starting sports footwear washing the following is required:

— shoe strings are to be taken out of the shoes; ;
— sand is to be removed and the external surface of the footwear is to be washed.

ATTENTION! It is not recommended to wash the sportswear made of natural leather or suede, as well as having the sole made of hard plastic or metal components.

7.2 USE OF SYNTHETIC DETERGENTS

7.2.1 A chute is intended in the machine for detergents in accordance with figures 1, 14.

The chute has three sections, marked with figures and a symbol:

1 — for preliminary washing with the use of powder detergents and bleaching substances;
2 — for the main washing;

— for special treating substances (conditioning, smoothening, starching, aromatizing additives).

The following is installed in addition to a chute section:

— a chute for the liquid bleacher marked with letters Cl;
— a curtain for the use of liquid detergents.

7.2.2 Detergents, bleachers and conditioning additives should be used for washing which are intended for automatic washing machines with the account of recommendations of the detergent manufacturer.

ATTENTION! It is not recommended to use bleaching gels for washing.

7.2.3 Dozing of detergents should be carried out with the account of the mass of goods, their soiling and water hardness.

ATTENTION! Overdozing of detergents, as well as the use of detergents for manual washing may result in excessive foaming, which makes the washing quality lower and may lead to machine outage.

7.2.4 When a powder detergent is used a curtain should be removed from section 2 of the chute (if it is installed). Check so that the powder should not get to a section for special treating substances in accordance with figure 15, as in the process of rinsing foam will be formed and white spots may appear on goods.
7.2.5 When additional functions , are chosen the powder detergents are to be used which are to be placed to section 1 in accordance with figure 14.
7.2.6 When the liquid detergent is used a curtain must be installed to section 2 in accordance with figure 16, and figure levels in milliliters are marked on both sides of the curtain. In order to freely move the curtain by guiding slots to the lower position it should be inserted to the chute section by the front surface with figures;

— 200, 150, 100, 50

7.2.7 Overfilling of special treating substances in section ✿ (above the MAX mark on the cap), as well as penetration to neighboring sections will result in lower quality of washing.
7.2.8 Bleaching substances during selection of the program "SOILS" are to be placed to section 1 in accordance with figure 14, and bleaching takes place directly after the main washing.

Before the use of the liquid bleacher a chute for the liquid bleacher is to be inserted to section 1 in accordance with figures 14,15. A mark on the cap CL MAX determines the maximal level of bleacher filling to the chute.

ATTENTION! When a bleacher is used setting the additional function of the preliminary washing is not allowed.

Exquisit WA7212 - USE OF SYNTHETIC DETERGENTS - 1

7.2.9 For improvement of washing quality and machine protection from lime sediments during washing in water having hardness degree II or III a water smoothening agent is to be used along with a detergent. It should be added to the detergent to section 2 in accordance with figure 14 as per manufacturer's recommendations.

The water hardness degree is to be determined as per table 1. Information about the water hardness may be obtained at the local water supply company.

IT IS PROHIBITED to remove the chute for detergents during machine operation in avoidance of water leakage

from the machine and its spilling.

7.3 ELIMINATION OF SOME TYPES OF SPOTS

7.3.1 Some spots cannot be eliminated from articles in the process of the ordinary washing in the machine. Therefore, before washing in the machine they are to manually be eliminated. At first, this is done at a small hardly visible section of a cloth by starting the treatment from an end of a stain by gradually approaching to its centre for prevention from any soils.
7.3.2 Wax is to be scratched off by means of a rounded object so that not to damage the fabric. Then the fabric is to be placed between two sheets of the absorbing paper and the stain is to be treated with a hot iron..
7.3.3 Stains of ball pens and flow masters are to be eliminated with a soft cloth moistened in ethyl spirit.
7.3.4 Mould stains are to be eliminated during washing along with addition of a bleacher to a section of chute 1 in accordance with figure 14, if the fabric is resistant to bleacher impact. In rest cases the stained section is moistened with 10% solution of hydrogen peroxide and left for 15 minutes.
7.3.5 Slight burns of the fabric with an iron are to be eliminated in the same way as mould stains.
7.3.6 Rust is to be removed with special means for elimination of rust. Manufacturer's recommendations should be fulfilled.
7.3.7 Paint is to be removed after full drying. The soiled section is to be wiped with a solvent shown on a paint package (for example, water, turpentine), soaped and washed.
7.3.8 Stains of a lipstick on cotton or wool are to be wiped with a cloth moistened in ether.
7.3.9 In order to remove a lacquer for nails an absorbing paper is to be put onto the soiled fabric and the stain is to be moistened with acetone from the back side of the cloth. By frequently changing the paper the fabric is to be moistened with acetone by the full disappearance of the stain.
7.3.10 Butter is to be applied to stains of vegetable oil or resin for some time and washed out with turpentine.
7.3.11 Stains of grass may be moistened with diluted bleacher by taking into account recommendations of the manufacturer. They are well removed from wool with 90% spirit solution.
7.3.12 A cloth with blood stains should be moistened in cold water with salt addition, then this is to be washed with household soap.
