Frequently Asked Questions - GD 075 Equator

How do I install the Equator GD 075 dishwasher?
Ensure a water supply (cold only) and drain connection are available. Level the dishwasher using the adjustable feet. Connect the inlet hose to a 3/4-inch faucet and the drain hose to a sink trap or standpipe. Plug into a grounded outlet. Refer to the manual for detailed steps.
What is the recommended detergent for this dishwasher?
Use a quality dishwasher detergent in tablet, powder, or gel form. For best results, use a combination detergent that includes rinse aid and salt. Avoid using regular dish soap.
Why is my dishwasher not cleaning dishes properly?
Check that the spray arms can rotate freely and are not clogged. Ensure the filters are clean. Use the correct detergent amount and select an appropriate cycle. Also verify water temperature is at least 50°C.
How do I clean the filters?
Turn off the dishwasher and remove the lower rack. Unscrew the cylindrical filter and remove the flat filter. Rinse them under running water with a soft brush. Reinstall securely. Clean filters monthly.
What does the error code E1 mean?
Error code E1 typically indicates a water supply issue. Ensure the water tap is open and the inlet hose is not kinked. Check the water pressure. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
Can I use dishwasher salt?
Yes, dishwasher salt is essential for water softeners to prevent limescale. Fill the salt reservoir before first use and when the salt indicator lights up. Use only special dishwasher salt.
How do I prevent dishes from spotting?
Ensure rinse aid is filled and the dispenser setting is appropriate (usually 3-4). Use a rinse aid to improve drying and reduce spots. Also, avoid overcrowding the racks.
Is the dishwasher noisy?
The Equator GD 075 operates at 49 dB(A), which is considered quiet. Ensure it is level and does not touch surrounding cabinets. If unusual noise occurs, check for loose items or obstructions in the spray arms.
What cycles should I use for different loads?
Use Intensive for heavily soiled pots and pans, Normal for everyday loads, Eco for energy-saving, Quick for lightly soiled dishes, and Rinse for pre-rinsing. Adjust based on soil level.
How do I activate the child lock?
Press and hold the Child Lock button (usually a key icon) for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up. To deactivate, repeat the same step. The child lock prevents accidental button presses.
