2.3. Operation details

Function Operation
Play/Pause - Inplayback mode, short press the play/ pause key to play or pause.- In the recording status, short press play/ pause key to suspend recording.- Long press play/pause to power on/off.
Record Short press this key to record, short press it again will stop recording and save.
Menu - Long press it and go back to the main menu.- Short press it to enter into the function menu of options and confirmation.- In playback mode, short press it to enter into the submenu and confirmation.
A-B In playback mode, short press it to choose the section which you need to repeat – A. Short press it again to choose the end – B. (See the A-B repeat for details).
Increases the volume.
Decreases the volume.
Reverse Short press it to jump to the last song or last option, long press it to fast reverse.
Next Short press it to jump to the next song or next option, long press it to speed.
Hold Button lock. Turn to the direction of the arrow, otherwise it is unlocked.

Power ON: After auto power off or if power off button was pressed, long press it for 3 seconds and it will automatically start.

Power off: In the boot state, long press it for 3 seconds to enter into power off.

- FILE BROWSE

Enter into the file browse mode:

- Long press MENU to enter into the main menu

- In the boot status, short press MENU enter into the music mode setting

- Repeat mode: NOR, ONE, FOLD, FD-A, ALL, RAND, INTR, after choosing and press play to confirm; NOR is the default by system. If there isn't any action for 8 seconds, it will auto confirm and save the current mode, and will go back to the playing status.

- EQ mode: NOR, ROCK, POP, CLAS, SOFT, JAZZ, DBB, then press MENU to confirm. If there isn't any action for 8 seconds, it will auto confirm and save the current mode, and back to the playing status.

A-B REREAD

Using this function you can repeat listening to some paragraph.

We recommend this function when learning a language.

  1. Play the file you want to play
  2. At the beginning of the paragraph to repeat press A-B key. After setting the start point the screen will display .

  3. At the end of the paragraph to repeat press A-B key.
    When is displayed, the selected paragraph starts to replay.

  4. Cancel the repetition: In the paragraph repeated, press the A-B key.

According to the following status, the paragraph repetition can be auto stopped: You have set the starting point in the paragraph to be repeated but not the ending point after the file was over.

• ADJUST THE VOLUME

In the playback mode, short press the key “+” to increase the volume; short press the key “-” to decrease the volume. If you long press them, it will speed increase or decrease.

- RECORDING MODE

Enter into the recording mode:

  • Long press MENU to enter into main menu.
  • Short press it or choose “recording mode”, then short press MENU to enter into the recording mode.
  • Short press “•” to enter into the recording mode: At any state short press “•” to enter into the recording mode, short press it again to stop and save the current record file.

• VOICE RECORDING

To set the recording mode of the system setting as “voice recording”:

After entering into the recording mode of the system

press “•”. You can start to record, and the recording file can be stored in “record” folder.

Note: During the recording, the microphone should look towards to the sound source. It can not record if the battery is low, so you should check the condition of the battery and note to change the battery before recording.

• RECORDING FROM EXTERNAL DEVICE

  1. Use the audio cable to connect the external device and the microphone of the digital voice recorder.
  2. Set the record mode of the device system to “voice record”.
  3. After entering into the recording mode, press “•” record button to record from the external device, and the recorded file can be stored in “Line” folder.
    According different external device, the quality of recording is different.

• TELEPHONE RECORDING

Junction Box Use: Put the indoor telephone cable, the accessory telephone cable and audio cable connected together with the telephone recording adapter from the digital voice recorder.

  1. Use the audio cable to connect the microphone port and the telephone recording adapter.
  2. Use the telephone cable to connect the telephone recording adapter.
  3. Connect the telephone cable to telephone recording adapter.
  4. Setting the “telephone recording” just press the “REC” to record directly.

  5. After entering into the recording mode of the device, press “•” record button to record the telephone call, and the file can be stored in “PHONE” folder.

Recording quality will be different as the different type of phone and the caller's sound.

In the PAUSE status, press MENU, and when you enter the main interface, press “UP” or “DOWN” to choose “recording time”, “recording type”, “backlight time”, “power off setting”, “language optional”, “contrast” and so on; then press MENU and adjust by pressing “UP” “DOWN” and press MENU, confirm OK.

- Can not start: Please check if the player has full battery or whether the device has been disordered.

- Device crashed: Please slide the power switch to reboot.

- Please check if the player has enough battery

- Please insure that the volume is not in its lowest, the earphone connection has no problem, and be sure that the earphone is clean.

- Damaged music file may make different levels of noise, sometimes it even can not be played so make sure of the integrity of the file.

- Please reformat the disk.

- Can not upload/download files or can not find the disk

on computer: Please plug well the USB cable after starting. Please re-install the driver correctly.

  • Can not record: Please check if the device has enough memory and check the battery.
  • Text is garbled: Please insure you chose the correct language.
  • After update it is not working: needs to ask for the correct procedure to the service center.
