How do I install the Eico 90 Fusion IQWP - Link cooker?

Ensure a 90 cm wide space with proper ventilation. Connect to a 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply with a dedicated circuit. For detailed steps, refer to the installation manual.

What should I do if the hob does not heat up?

Check that the cookware is compatible with induction (magnetic bottom). Ensure the hob is locked or not in child lock mode. Restart the appliance by turning off the mains for 30 seconds.

How do I activate the self-cleaning function?

Remove all accessories from the oven. Select the Pyrolytic Cleaning function via the control panel. The oven will heat to ~500°C and turn residues into ash. After cooling, simply wipe with a damp cloth.

Can I use the oven and hob simultaneously?

Yes, the cooker is designed to operate all zones and the oven at the same time, but total load may exceed 11 kW. If the circuit breaker trips, reduce the number of active zones.

How do I connect the cooker to the IQWP Link app?

Download the Eico IQWP app, create an account, and press the Wi-Fi button on the cooker. Follow the in-app instructions to pair via your home network (2.4 GHz).

What does error code E5 mean on my cooker?

Error E5 indicates a communication fault between the hob and oven control board. Try a power reset (unplug for 5 minutes). If persists, contact service. This is a temporary failure.

How often should I replace the oven light bulb?

The oven uses a standard 40W halogen bulb (G9 base). Replace only when burnt out. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from power before changing.

Is the induction hob safe for people with pacemakers?

Induction hobs generate electromagnetic fields. While generally safe, persons with pacemakers should consult their doctor and maintain a minimum distance of 30 cm from the hob when in use.

How do I clean the oven door glass?

Use a soft cloth with mild detergent. For stubborn stains, apply a paste of baking soda and water. Avoid abrasive sponges. The inner glass can be removed by unscrewing the retaining clips (see manual).

GENERAL INFORMATION

Carefully read this use and maintenance manual, where important information about installation, use and maintenance safety is provided. Keep this manual for future reference. Any installation operation (electric connections) shall be performed by specialized personnel, in compliance with all standards and regulations in force.

SAFETY WARNING

The use of flat-bottomed pots, with a diameter equal to or slightly bigger than the heated area, is recommended. (Fig.6). Do not use pots that have a rough base, in order to prevent the hob thermal surface from being scratched. This appliance is not intended for use by children or infirm people without supervision.

IMPORTANT

• Avoid the overflow of liquids by reducing the heat supply when boiling or warming liquids.
• Do not leave any heating element switched on, if there are no pots, or if the pots are empty.
• Once cooking is completed, turn the concerned heating element off, by using the control shown below.
• This appliance is not intended for use by people (children included) with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities, or lacking of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or well instructed about the use of the appliance, by a person who is responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to assure that they do not play with the appliance.
• If the hob surface is cracked, turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the electric network, so as to avoid the possibility of electric shock.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

These installation instructions are intended for a specialized installer and are meant as guidelines for the hob installation, adjustment and maintenance, in compliance with any regulations and standards in force. If a built-in oven or any other appliance generating heat is to be mounted directly under the vitro-ceramic hob, IT IS NECESSARY THAT SUCH AN APPLIANCE (the oven) AND THE VITRO-CERAMIC HOB ARE PROPERLY INSULATED. Failure to comply with this precaution might result in the incorrect operation of the TOUCH CONTROL system.

- Positioning:

This household appliance has been designed for built-in installation onto a worktop, as shown in the figure (Fig.1 A/B). Use sealing material along the whole perimeter (Fig.2) (Cut dimensions- Fig.1 A/B). This operation is necessary in order to prevent any liquid from entering inside the hob, being that the flatness of the top, the glass and their coupling cannot be assured. Fix the appliance on the worktop by using the 4 supports, taking the work top thickness into account (Fig.4 A/B). If, after

installation, the lower part of the appliance is accessible from the lower part of the cabinet, it will be necessary to mount a spacing panel at the distances given (Fig.3). If the appliance is installed under an oven, this step will not be necessary.

• Electric connections (Fig.5):

• The installation of this appliance and the connection to the electrical network should be entrusted only to an electrician perfectly to the fact of the normative regulations and which respects them scrupulously.
• Protection against the parts under tension must be ensured after the building-in.
• The data of connection necessary are on the stickers place on the hob casing near the connection box.

- The connection to the main must be made using an earthed plug or via an omnipolar circuit breaking device with a contact opening of at least 3 mm.

• The electrical circuit must be separated from the network by adapted devices, for example: circuit breakers, fuses or contactors.
• If the appliance is not fitted with an accessible plug, disconnecting means must be incorporated in the fixed installation, in accordance with the installation regulations.
• The cord must be positioned so that it does not touch any of the hot parts of the hob or even.

Caution!

This appliance has only to be connected to a network 230 V\~50/60 Hz.
Connect always the earth wire.
Respect the connection diagram.
The connection box is located underneath at the back of the hob casing. To open the cover use a medium screwdriver. Place it in the slits and open the cover.

Caution!

Be careful that the cables are correctly engaged and tightenet.

We cannot be held responsible for any incident resulting from incorrect connection or which could arise from the use of an appliance which has not been earthed or has been equipped with a faulty earth connection.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

- Maintenance (Fig.8):

Remove any food residue and grease drops from the cooking surface, by using the special scraper provided on request.
Clean the heated area in the best way possible, using suitable products and a paper towel, then wipe with water and a clean cloth.
Through the use of the special scraper (optional), promptly remove any pieces of aluminum foil and plastic material, which might have accidentally melted, or sugar or food remains, and/or remains of sugary foods, from the heated surface. In this way, any possible damage to the surface is prevented.
The use of abrasive sponges or irritating chemical cleaners, such as sprays for ovens or cleaning agents is not

allowed under any circumstance.

- Use:

Use the touch control system in the corresponding position according to individual cooking needs. Keep in mind that the higher the number, the more heat is produced.

- Switching the cooking top on:

Press A key to switch the top on, the power led lights up. The control unit remains active for 10 seconds. If no cooking zone is selected within this time, the cooking top switches off automatically.

- Pan detection:

This cooktop is fitted with an interactive control system that makes it very easy and comfortable to use. After switching on the cooktop, when you put a cookware on the glass, the control system automatically detects it. This system also automatically indicates you which slider control to use by displaying a (0) over it. You then just have to set the expected cooking level. If the cookware is removed, the display shows the symbol □ and disappear when the cookware is repositioned on the cooking zone, continuing with the previous settings. After use, always bring power to 0 (do not leave the active

symbol). If the symbol should appear on one of the cooking area displays, it means that:

1) The recipient being used is not suitable for induction cooking.

2) The diameter of the recipient used is inferior to that allowed by the appliance.

3) No recipient is present.

- Switching the cooking area on:

Put a cookware on the desired cooking zone and press or slide your finger on E keys zone. Press E key zone to go to position 9 (max. power) or to go to position 1 (min. power). The power of the single cooking zone can be adjusted in 9 different positions and will be shown on the relative luminous display G with a number from "1 to 9".

- Residual heat:

If the temperature of the cooking zone is still high (over 50°) after it has been switched off, the relative display will indicate the H symbol (residual heat). The symbol will only switch off when the burn risk is no longer present.

- Timer function:

This function allows establishing the time (from 1 to 99

minutes) for automatically switching the selected cooking zone off. Switch on at least one cooking.

Press simultaneously the H and I key to enter the timer function. Press on button to adjust the cooking time which is shown on its display. Set the power of the area between 1 and 9 keys with the same E. Set at this point the desired sleep time using the keys H or I timers in the area. The inclusion of the timer with the clock symbol will appear next to the display of the cooking zone selected. The countdown will be displayed on the display above the keys H - I The timer will automatically turn off the cooking area and you will hear a beep that can be turned off by pressing any of the commands. To disable the timer, press the keys H and I of the timer.

- Egg Timer / Reminder function:

To set a 'reminder time' press simultaneously the H and I key. The led located at the bottom-center of the timer display will be flashing. Set the 'reminder time' (from 1 to 99 minutes) by pressing the H or Key. An acoustic signal will indicate the 'reminder time' expiration. Press any key to stop the acoustic signal. The egg timer remains active even if the appliance is switched off. In order to disable the egg timer press simultaneously the H and I key and then the I key until reaching position 0.

- Pause function:

When at least one cooking zone is operating it is possible to momentaneously pause the appliance switching off the heating elements by pressing the C key. When the pause function is active the relative led is on, The pause may last for 10 minutes. If the status is not terminated within this time the appliance switches off. The pause function can be deactivated by pressing the C key and within 10 seconds any of the control keys. Previously programmed timers will be stopped during the pause.

- Recall fuction:

When the appliance has been switched off by mistake it is possible to quickly recall the previously active settings by pressing the on-off A key withing 6 seconds, then pressing the C key within another 6 seconds. If the recall function is available the relative led C will be enlightened when the appliance is switched on again.

• Control panel lock :

You can lock the controls to prevent the risk of unintentional changes (cleaning, etc.). Switch on the cook top with A key.

Press the B key for a few seconds, the controls are blocked and the relative warning light switches on.

To release the controls and change the settings (e.g. interrupt cooking), the B key must be pressed. The cooking top can however be switched off even when the controls block is activated. In this case the controls block remains active when the top is switched on again.

• Switching the cooking area off:

To switch a cooking zone off, press or crawl the E slider of the relative zone until reaching position ☐.

• Switching the cooking top off:

To turn off the cooking top entirely hold down the A key.

- Booster function:

After selecting a cooking zone the booster function D can be activated by dragging the slider to the end, this function for a time of 10 minutes the selected plate feeds at maximum power and the display shows PTo remove the function, act on the E cursor area.

- Bridge function:

This feature allows you to connect the front and back heating zones on the left or the right side of the hob together thus merging 2 zones into one larger one. This is particularly useful for cooking with large pans.

To set the bridge function

Touch On The E Cursor Area for the 2 adjacent zones at the same time. The symbols and wU show against the power level displays for the 2 zones. The heating level of the bridged zone is controlled just by the left hand slider of the 2 connected zones.

To cancel the bridge function

Touch On The E Cursor Area for the 2 adjacent zones at the same time. The symbols and against the power level displays for the 2 zones will go out and the zones will be independently controlled again.

- Special programs:

The cooktop has three special programs that can be set by pressing the F zone. The programs have already been set and the temperatures are melting, working at 42°C to melt chocolate, butter or the like; warming, working at 70°C, when reheating previously cooked; simmering, working at 94°C, to bring to a boil slowly preparing sauces or soups and stews.

• Power Management

The hole hob is equipped with a maximim of Power. When the Power function is activated, and in order to exceed the maximum Booster, the electronic system orders to reduce automatically the power level of an other heating zone. The display is blinking on (9) during a few seconds and the maximim of power allowed.

- Safety switch:

The appliance has a safety switch that automatically switches off the cooking zones when they have been operating for a certain amount of time at a given power level.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING EICOLINK WITH SLIDER-CONTROL ON THE HOB

- Generally

1) A small delay of reaction on the hood can occur, compared with the users commandoes at the hood control

2) Please note, that the ON / OFF key and the light key on the hood control (shown as 🎨), on the hob, will first react on the command, when the finger leaves the key 3) Very long press of the ON / OFF key for about 4 sec., turns off the hood control/slider on the hob without switching off the hood. THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO!

If you have done this anyhow, activate the hood control on the hob again, by pressing the ON / OFF key at the hood control/slider for approx. 4 sec, after which the hood control/slider will turn on with indication of level 1 on the hob. Then turn off the hood control/slider on the ON / OFF key on the hob by pressing it for approx. 1 sec. and everything is reset, and the hood is correctly operated again via the hood control/slider on the hob, at the next activation of the hood control on the hob

4) The slider has 10 "beams" indicating the speed of the hood's motor, however, there is only 4 levels of speed control on the hood control/slider on the hob, which is illustrated as follows on the slider on the hob:

Speed 1: Beam 1 and 2 are turned on/lit

Speed 2: Beam 1, 2, 3 and 4 are turned on/lit

Speed 3: Beam 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are turned on/lit

Speed 4: Beam 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are turned on/lit

5) The hood's own control or remote control, if connected with the hood, will always be the MASTER, in relation to the hood control/slider on the hob.

This means that if you first use the hood control/slider on the hob, for starting the hood on for example level 2 or to switch off the hood, and then use the hood's own control or remote control to change the speed up or down, or to turn the hood ON or OFF, the hood control/slider on the hob will not detect this, and will therefore remain unchanged registration of the speed level or if the hood's motor is switched ON or OFF.

Specific regarding Ceiling Panel

1) The dimmer function of the light in the hood, can only be operated from the enclosed remote control

• Now Eicolink is active, and the hood can be operated from the hob

• Connect the power supply to the hood and wait 5 seconds
• Within 60 seconds press and hold 1 and 2 on the hood control panel for 3-5 seconds. When released, 1 and 2 will flash on the hood control panel

• Press on/off ① on the hob control panel

• Now Eicolink is active and the hood can be operated from the hob

• As far as possible, always prepare the food in pots and pans with lids to avoid unnecessary heat consumption.
• Choose a small pot for small quantities. A small pot uses less energy than a larger, underfilled pot.
  • Cook with as little water as possible.
• Lower the heat level as soon as possible after boiling or browning.
• Use a pressure cooker to reduce the cooking time.
