Are there diagrams showing the gearbox mounts? I don't see any mounting parts on the gearbox or on the drive shaft.

Unfortunately, the VS1000 manual does not contain detailed diagrams of the gearbox mounting supports. However, the visible absence of mounting parts may have several explanations:

The mounts have deteriorated or come off - The rubber vibration isolation sleeves can disintegrate over time, leaving the gearbox seemingly unsupported.
Direct mounting on the frame - Some budget models of mowers use direct bolting without vibration isolators.
The mounts are hidden - They may be located under the gearbox or covered by other components.

To identify the problem:

Examine around the gearbox for any mounting holes or bolts. Count them and note their location.
Check for any visible signs of disintegrated rubber or missing mount fragments.

Inspect all bolts and screws securing the gearbox to the chassis - tighten any that are loose using an appropriate wrench

Seized wheel bearings - The wheels may be stuck despite the drive. Try turning the wheels by hand. If they refuse to turn completely, the bearings are likely seized.
Broken coupling or joint - If there is a connecting element between the rod and the wheel axle (coupling, coupling joint), it may be worn or broken.
Cracked rod - Although the rod is turning, an internal crack may prevent it from transmitting force to the wheels.

Checks to perform:

Visually inspect the connection between the rod and each wheel. Is there any play, cracks, or missing parts?
Stop the device and try to turn the wheels by hand. Do they turn freely or are they completely stuck?
