Comment connecter le décodeur EXR 2508 à ma télévision ?

Utilisez un câble HDMI pour une qualité optimale. Branchez une extrémité à la sortie HDMI du décodeur et l'autre à l'entrée HDMI de votre téléviseur. Vous pouvez également utiliser le câble SCART ou les prises RCA (jaune, rouge, blanc) si votre téléviseur ne possède pas de port HDMI.

Comment rechercher les chaînes sur le décodeur EXR 2508 ?

Allez dans le menu Installation puis sélectionnez Recherche automatique. Choisissez le satellite ou la source (ex: Astra 19.2°E) et lancez la recherche. Le décodeur mémorisera toutes les chaînes trouvées.

La télécommande ne fonctionne pas, que faire ?

Vérifiez d'abord l'orientation de la télécommande vers le capteur du décodeur. Remplacez les piles si nécessaire (type AAA). Si le problème persiste, réinitialisez la télécommande en retirant les piles et en appuyant sur n'importe quel bouton pendant 10 secondes.

Comment mettre à jour le logiciel du décodeur ?

Assurez-vous que le décodeur est connecté à une antenne satellite correctement orientée. Allez dans Menu > Installation > Mise à jour du logiciel > Par satellite. Suivez les instructions à l'écran. Ne débranchez pas l'appareil pendant la mise à jour.

Puis-je enregistrer une émission sur une clé USB ?

Oui, branchez une clé USB (format FAT32) sur le port USB du décodeur. Sélectionnez l'émission dans le Guide des programmes (EPG) et appuyez sur le bouton Enregistrer. Assurez-vous que la clé a suffisamment d'espace libre.

Comment programmer un enregistrement à l'avance ?

Utilisez le Guide électronique des programmes (EPG) en appuyant sur la touche EPG de la télécommande. Sélectionnez l'émission souhaitée, appuyez sur OK puis choisissez Programmer un enregistrement. Vous pouvez également régler un minuteur manuel dans le menu Minuteries.

Que faire si l'image est saccadée ou pixelisée ?

Vérifiez l'orientation de votre parabole et l'état du câble coaxial. Une connexion LS ou un mauvais alignement peut causer des problèmes de réception. Assurez-vous également que le décodeur reçoit un signal suffisant (vérifiez dans le menu Installation > Qualité du signal).

Comment réinitialiser le décodeur aux paramètres d'usine ?

Allez dans Menu > Installation > Réglages usine. Entrez le code pin (par défaut : 0000) et confirmez. Attention, toutes vos chaînes et réglages personnalisés seront effacés.

Le décodeur ne s'allume plus, que vérifier ?

Assurez-vous que l'adaptateur secteur est correctement branché sur le décodeur et sur une prise électrique fonctionnelle. Vérifiez que le câble d'alimentation n'est pas endommagé. Si le voyant du décodeur reste éteint, essayez une autre prise.

Comment activer le contrôle parental ?

Allez dans Menu > Installation > Contrôle parental. Activez l'option et définissez un code PIN à 4 chiffres. Vous pourrez ensuite verrouiller certaines chaînes ou programmes en fonction de leur classification.

Kathrein Power Saving

If an EXR 2508 is operated as a stand-alone device or is operated in conjunction with other multi-switches which bear the Kathrein Power-Saving logo, Kathrein Power-Saving can be activated when the stand-by switch is set to "ON". If a TV/Receiver is included in the cascade, the LNB is supplied from the last multi-switch.

Multi-switches without Kathrein Power-Saving do not generate any signal to the last multi-switch. In order to ensure an uninterrupted power supply to the LNB, the stand-by switch must be set to „OFF“.

Installation and safety instructions

The equipment described is designed solely for the installation of satellite reception systems and may only be installed by trained specialist personnel.
▶ Any other use, or failure to comply with these instructions, will result in voiding of warranty cover.
The equipment may only be installed in dry indoor areas. Do not install on or against highly combustible materials.
The equipment must be provided with an earthing wire (Cu, at least 4 mm ^2 ).
The safety regulations set out in the current EN 60728-11 and EN 62368-1 standards must be complied with.
▶ Fasteners for concrete substrates and masonry: 4 suitable plugs and associated screws with half-round or cylindrical head, outer thread diameter 4.5-5 mm, head diameter ≥ 9 mm and a screw length ≥ 30 mm. For other types of wall, use the appropriate screws or screw-dowel systems, which offer the same or better fastening.
▶ Connector: RF plug 75 Ω (series F) to EN 61169-24.
▶ Unused subscriber ports should be closed off with 75 Ω resistors (e.g. EMK 03).
To comply with the EMC requirements, only the NCF 18 is approved as a plug-in power supply unit. Screw the F-connector of the power supply unit for the LNB supply to the „DC“ socket of the EXR 2508.

Risk of damage to property!

An inner cable conductor with a diameter greater than 1.2 mm, or the presence of burrs may damage the device inputs/outputs beyond repair.

Current-carrying device

▶ Do not open or tamper with the unit!
When working on the system always unplug the power supply unit from the wall socket!
▶ Ensure adequate clearance! Clearance all round at least 5 cm!
▶ The unit must not be mounted on the ceiling.
▶ Free circulation of air must be possible to discharge the heat emitted by the unit. Risk of overheating!
▶ Permissible ambient temperature -20 to +50 °C.

Important:

The power supply unit must be easily accessible and operable.
The only reliable method of disconnecting the unit from the mains is to unplug the plug-in power supply unit.
Therefore the power supply unit must be easily accessible.

Disposal

Electronic equipment

Electronic equipment is not domestic waste – in accordance with directive 2012/19/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND THE COUNCIL dated 4th July 2012 concerning used electrical and electronic appliances, it must be disposed of properly. At the end of its service life, take this unit for disposal at a designated public collection point.
