Comment brancher le décodeur EXR 2554 à ma télévision ?

Connectez le câble HDMI du décodeur à votre téléviseur. Si votre téléviseur ne dispose pas d'entrée HDMI, utilisez le câble RCA (péritel ou composite). Branchez ensuite l'antenne satellite à l'entrée F du décodeur.

Comment rechercher les chaînes sur le décodeur ?

Allez dans le menu principal, sélectionnez 'Installation' puis 'Recherche automatique'. Choisissez votre type d'antenne (LNB) et lancez la recherche. Les chaînes seront stockées automatiquement.

Le décodeur ne s'allume pas, que faire ?

Vérifiez que l'adaptateur secteur est bien branché sur le décodeur et sur une prise électrique fonctionnelle. Essayez avec une autre prise. Si le problème persiste, contactez le support technique.

Comment mettre à jour le logiciel du décodeur ?

Les mises à jour sont diffusées par satellite. Allez dans le menu 'Mise à jour' et sélectionnez 'Rechercher mise à jour'. Le décodeur téléchargera et installera la version disponible.

Puis-je enregistrer des émissions sur une clé USB ?

Oui, le décodeur EXR 2554 permet d'enregistrer sur clé USB (format FAT32). Branchez la clé, allez dans le menu 'Enregistrements' et choisissez l'option d'enregistrement.

Comment utiliser le contrôle parental ?

Accédez au menu 'Paramètres' puis 'Contrôle parental'. Définissez un code PIN à 4 chiffres. Vous pourrez ensuite verrouiller des chaînes ou des programmes.

Que faire si la télécommande ne fonctionne pas ?

Vérifiez les piles (remplacez-les si nécessaire). Assurez-vous qu'il n'y a pas d'obstacle entre la télécommande et le capteur du décodeur. Si le problème persiste, réinitialisez la télécommande en retirant les piles et en appuyant sur une touche pendant 3 secondes.

Comment réinitialiser le décodeur aux paramètres d'usine ?

Allez dans le menu 'Installation' puis 'Réinitialisation d'usine'. Confirmez avec le code PIN par défaut (0000) si demandé. Attention, toutes les données seront effacées.

Le son est absent sur certaines chaînes, pourquoi ?

Certaines chaînes diffusent en audio multilingue. Appuyez sur la touche 'Audio' de la télécommande pour sélectionner la piste audio souhaitée. Vérifiez aussi les branchements audio.

Comment connecter le décodeur à Internet ?

Le décodeur EXR 2554 ne dispose pas de connexion Ethernet ou Wi-Fi intégrée. Il est conçu pour une utilisation hors ligne. Les mises à jour se font par satellite.

Kathrein Power Saving

If an EXR 2508 is operated as a stand-alone device or is operated in conjunction with other multi-switches which bear the Kathrein Power-Saving logo, Kathrein Power-Saving can be activated when the stand-by switch is set to "ON". If a TV/Receiver is included in the cascade, the LNB is supplied from the last multi-switch.

Multi-switches without Kathrein Power-Saving do not generate any signal to the last multi-switch. In order to ensure an uninterrupted power supply to the LNB, the stand-by switch must be set to „OFF“.

Installation and safety instructions

The equipment described is designed solely for the installation of satellite reception systems and may only be installed by trained specialist personnel.
▶ Any other use, or failure to comply with these instructions, will result in voiding of warranty cover.
The equipment may only be installed in dry indoor areas. Do not install on or against highly combustible materials.
The equipment must be provided with an earthing wire (Cu, at least 4 mm ^2 ).
The safety regulations set out in the current EN 60728-11 and EN 62368-1 standards must be complied with.
▶ Fasteners for concrete substrates and masonry: 4 suitable plugs and associated screws with half-round or cylindrical head, outer thread diameter 4.5-5 mm, head diameter ≥ 9 mm and a screw length ≥ 30 mm. For other types of wall, use the appropriate screws or screw-dowel systems, which offer the same or better fastening.
▶ Connector: RF plug 75 Ω (series F) to EN 61169-24.
▶ Unused subscriber ports should be closed off with 75 Ω resistors (e.g. EMK 03).
To comply with the EMC requirements, only the NCF 18 is approved as a plug-in power supply unit. Screw the F-connector of the power supply unit for the LNB supply to the „DC“ socket of the EXR 2508.

Risk of damage to property!

An inner cable conductor with a diameter greater than 1.2 mm, or the presence of burrs may damage the device inputs/outputs beyond repair.

Current-carrying device

▶ Do not open or tamper with the unit!
When working on the system always unplug the power supply unit from the wall socket!
▶ Ensure adequate clearance! Clearance all round at least 5 cm!
▶ The unit must not be mounted on the ceiling.
▶ Free circulation of air must be possible to discharge the heat emitted by the unit. Risk of overheating!
▶ Permissible ambient temperature -20 to +50 °C.

Important:

The power supply unit must be easily accessible and operable.
The only reliable method of disconnecting the unit from the mains is to unplug the plug-in power supply unit.
Therefore the power supply unit must be easily accessible.

Disposal

Electronic equipment

Electronic equipment is not domestic waste – in accordance with directive 2012/19/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND THE COUNCIL dated 4th July 2012 concerning used electrical and electronic appliances, it must be disposed of properly. At the end of its service life, take this unit for disposal at a designated public collection point.
