The flashing glass symbol on your TEKA DW1 605 FI dishwasher primarily indicates a lack of rinse aid (rinse aid product). This light comes on when the rinse aid reservoir is nearly empty. Rinse aid is essential for ensuring optimal drying of your glasses and cutlery and for preventing the appearance of spots and limescale deposits.

To add rinse aid:

Open the dishwasher door;
Locate the rinse aid reservoir on the inner side of the door, on the right;
Turn the reservoir cap counterclockwise a quarter turn and remove it;
Pour the rinse aid until the reservoir is completely full (approximately 140 ml). The optical indicator on the side of the cap should be completely covered;
Reattach the cap by turning it clockwise;
Wipe up any possible rinse aid spills with a soft cloth to avoid excessive foaming.
