Several reasons may prevent your HILTI C 622 battery from charging. Here’s how to diagnose and resolve the issue:

Basic Checks

Ensure that the charger is properly plugged into a power outlet (100-127 V or 220-240 V AC depending on your region)
Check that the green LED on the charger lights up when you plug it in. If it remains off, the charger is not ready to operate
Unplug the charger and plug it back in completely

Temperature Issues

If the yellow LED blinks during charging, it means that your battery is out of the allowed temperature range. The battery can only operate between -17 degrees C and 60 degrees C in service. Wait for the battery to return to a normal temperature (charging will automatically resume when it cools down).

Battery Too Hot

If the battery is too hot after use, let it cool down before recharging. Once cooled to normal temperature, charging will automatically restart.

In Case of Serious Problems

If the charger’s LED does not light up or if the battery refuses to charge despite these checks, the power cable or charger may be defective. In this case, contact your local Hilti service.
