Empty the dust container after each use or when it reaches the MAX fill line. Regular emptying maintains optimal suction performance.

Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum?

No, this vacuum is designed for dry vacuuming only. Using it on liquids can damage the motor and void the warranty.

How do I replace the brush roll?

Unplug the vacuum. Remove the brush roll cover (usually with a screwdriver). Lift out the old brush roll and remove any tangled hair. Insert the new brush roll and secure the cover.

Why does the vacuum overheat and shut off?

This is a safety feature to prevent damage. Common causes: clogged filters, full dust container, or blocked hose. Clean the affected parts and let the vacuum cool for 30 minutes before restarting.

Where can I find the model number?

The model number is located on the rating label on the back or bottom of the vacuum. It is labeled as SL159R.

How do I reset the overheating protection?

2. Before using the appliance, check if the mains power voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate.
3. The appliance should be connected to a correctly-earthed 10A power socket.
4. Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning or maintenance.

7. Do not use the appliance to vacuum liquids.
8. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children or infirm.

10. Do not switch the appliance on if it appears to be faulty in any way.
11. For repairing or accessories, contact your dealer or an authorized Service Center.

Removing the flexible tube

Remove the plug from the power socket. To release the flexible Tube, press the button on the end of the tube and pull the tube firmly from the air intake duct.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

1. Before using the appliance, unwind length of cable and insert the plug into the power socket. Do not extend the cable beyond the RED mark.

To rewind the power cable, press the rewind button with one hand and guide the other hand to ensure that it does not whip causing damage

2. Take out the foam from the dust cup.
