How do I set up the Brinno BMC100 for time-lapse?

Insert batteries and microSD card. Press the power button to turn on. Use the MODE button to select time-lapse interval, then press the shutter button to start recording. The LED will blink during capture.

What type of memory card works with the BMC100?

The BMC100 supports microSD cards up to 32GB, Class 10 or higher for reliable recording. Format the card in FAT32 before first use.

How long do the batteries last?

Battery life depends on interval and temperature. With 2x AA Lithium batteries at 5-minute intervals, expect up to 30 days of continuous operation. Alkaline batteries last about half that time.

Can I use the BMC100 outdoors in rain?

Yes, the camera has an IPX4 splash-proof rating, so it can withstand light rain. However, it should not be submerged in water.

How do I view the photos and videos?

Remove the microSD card and insert it into a computer card reader. Photos are saved as JPEG files, and time-lapse videos are compiled as AVI files which can be played with standard media players.

Why is my camera not turning on?

Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity. Try fresh batteries. If using USB power, make sure the adapter provides 5V and at least 1A.

What intervals can I choose for time-lapse?

The BMC100 offers intervals from 0.5 seconds up to 60 minutes. Use the MODE button to cycle through: 0.5s, 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 1min, 5min, 10min, 30min, 60min.

Does the camera have motion detection?

Yes, it has a built-in PIR motion sensor. When motion is detected, the camera can capture a photo or start recording depending on mode. Sensitivity can be adjusted via the menu.

How do I reset the BMC100?

Remove the batteries and wait 30 seconds, then reinsert them. Alternatively, there is a reset pinhole near the battery compartment; use a paperclip to press it.

Can I mount the camera on a tripod?

Yes, the bottom has a standard 1/4-20 thread that fits most tripods. It also includes a sticky pad and strap for alternative mounting.

While recording, hold the "OK" button until the LCD light turns on and shows the text "Processing", it means the camera is processing file closing. When completed the processing it will display the text "Ready" This indicates the recording session is complete.

BMC100 - Installation

STEP 1.

Install the AWM100.

A By sticker (smooth surface)

Clean up the flat surface, be sure there is no dust on the surface. Remove the sticker seal, paste on the wall for at least 24 hours.

B By screw (brick)

Use the screw to fix on the wall.

STEP 2.

Install the TLC200 f1.2 .

STEP 3.

Install the ATM100.

1. Switch ON.

2. The LCD will show set up screen.

Note - Overwrite Mode

The camera will be automatically activated overwrite mode once Motion Sensor (ATM100) is plug in camera, you can go to camera setting menu to change if necessary.

A Press MENU, select the Overwrite Mode.
B Choose on or off to set up overwrite mode.
