How do I change the vacuum bag?

Open the bag compartment cover, remove the full bag by pulling it straight out, and insert a new bag until it clicks into place. Ensure the bag is properly seated before closing the cover.

Why is my vacuum losing suction?

Check if the dust bag is full or the filter is clogged. Replace the bag if full and clean or replace the filter. Also inspect the hose and attachments for blockages.

Can I use the vacuum on wet surfaces?

No, this vacuum is designed for dry use only. Using it on wet surfaces can cause electric shock or damage the motor. For liquid spills, use a wet/dry vacuum.

How often should I clean or replace the filter?

Clean the exhaust filter every three months by tapping it gently or rinsing under water (let it dry completely before reuse). Replace it once a year or if damaged.

What attachments come with the PC7351?

The vacuum includes a crevice tool, a dusting brush, and an upholstery nozzle. These attach to the handle or wand for different cleaning tasks.

How do I adjust the suction power?

Use the suction control slide or dial located on the handle of the vacuum. Slide it to 'low' for delicate surfaces or 'high' for deep cleaning carpets.

How do I clean the brush roll?

Important safeguards

• Read this instruction booklet carefully.
- Before using the appliance, check that the mains power voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate.
- Do not switch the appliance on if it appears to be faulty in any way or it has a damaged cord or plug. Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use and before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations.

- Do not pull the appliance by the cord. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Do not use appliance on wet surfaces or to vacuum liquids, mud, ash and burning cigarette butts. Do not vacuum up any highly flammable or explosive substances or gases.
• Do not unplug the vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
- Do not operate the vacuum cleaner too close to heaters and radiators, stoves etc.
- Before you start using the vacuum cleaner, please remove large or sharp objects from the floor to prevent damage to the dust container and hose.

Instructions for use

• Before placing into operation make certain that the filters are in the proper position.
A Unwind a sufficient length of cable and insert the plug into the power socket. A YELLOW mark on the power cable shows the ideal cable length. Do not extend the cable beyond the RED mark.
B Press the ON/OFF button to switch the appliance on. On initial start up full power is reached after approximately 1-2 seconds.

C To rewind the power cable, press the rewind button with foot, and guide the cable with hand to ensure that it does not whip causing damage.
D By moving the variable power control, the suction power can be adjusted.
E Suction can also be regulated on the hose handle by opening / closing the aperture.

Maintenance

Removing the contents of the dust container

• Never operate the cleaner without the dust container installed.
  22 Remove the dust container by pushing the open button on the handle.
  23 Remove the contents of the dust container by pushing the orange - coloured opening button.
  24 Close the dust container lid until it clicks.
  22 Put the dust container back into the cleaner.

Replacing the filters

• The dust container must be emptied if the window of the electronic filter indicator is illuminated when the cleaner is operating at maximum power and the nozzle is raised from the floor.
• Please note: It is normal for the red light of the indicator to flicker on and off during use.
  If the dust container is emptied and the indicator is still active, it means that the cartridge filter is clogged. In this case, follow the instructions of chapter 'Replacing or cleaning the cartridge filter'.
• Filters should be replaced at least twice a year or when they become visibly soiled.
  • Always operate the cleaner with filters installed to avoid reduced suction.
• Disconnect from electrical outlet before changing the filters.

Replacing or cleaning the cartridge filter

22 Remove the dust container by using the open button on the handle.
25 Remove the cartridge filter with the protector mesh by turning them clockwise and pulling them out.
26 Remove the protector mesh from the cartridge filter.
27 Shake the dirt from the filter and the mesh into a bin, if necessary the filter and mesh can be rinsed, with cold water, under a tap.

28 Air dry them for approximately 24 hours, to ensure it is completely dry before re-using. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme drying circumstances.
26 Insert the protector mesh into its place by pushing it onto the cartridge filter.
25 Insert the cartridge filter with the protector mesh back to the dust container and turn them counter-clockwise until the cartridge filter locks completely.
22 Insert the dust container back into the cleaner by pressing it down until it clicks.

Cleaning the motor filter

• If necessary, the motor filter also can be washed or replaced at least twice a year or if clogged.
22 Remove the dust container by using the open button on the handle.
29 Remove the filter from its place.
30 Rinse it under tap water and dry it completely.
29 Put the filter back into its place.
22 Insert the dust container back into the cleaner by pressing it down until it clicks.

Cleaning the exhaust filter

31 Open the filter grill.
32 Remove the exhaust filter with grill.
33 Take the filter out of the grill.
30 Rinse it under tap water and dry it completely.
33 Put the filter back into the grill.
32 Insert the filter with grill into the cleaner.
31 Close the filter grill.

Operating the hose in/out of the suction inlet

34 To connect the hose into the suction inlet push it until it clicks.

To disconnect the hose from the suction inlet push the button at the end of the hose.

Protecting the environment

• Attempt to recycle packaging material and old appliances.
• The cardboard packaging can be placed in the waste paper collection.
- Deposit the plastic bag made of polyethylene (PE) at the PE collection point for recycling.
- Deposit the polystyrene foam at the PS collection point for recycling. Recycling the Appliance at the end of its life.
- The plastic components all carry a material identification marking so that, like the other materials, they can recycled at the end of the life of the appliance.
- Please inquire with your local authority. Blocked air flow and dirty filters.
• The cleaner stops automatically if a blockage occurs in the nozzle/tube/hose or if the filters are blocked with dirt.
- Disconnect from mains and allow the cleaner to cool for 20-30 minutes. Remove blockage and/or clean filters.
- Restart the cleaner.
