How to set the time?

To set the time, press and hold the Time Set button until the hour flashes. Use the Hour and Minute buttons to adjust. Press Time Set again to confirm.

How to set the alarm?

Press the Alarm Set button. The alarm time will flash. Use Hour and Minute buttons to set the time. Choose alarm mode (buzzer or radio) by pressing Alarm Mode. Press Alarm Set to save.

How to use the snooze function?

When the alarm sounds, press the Snooze button. The alarm will stop and sound again after 9 minutes. You can snooze multiple times.

How to change the battery backup?

Open the battery compartment on the bottom. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) with correct polarity. Close the compartment. Batteries maintain time during power outages.

Why is the display not showing?

Check if the AC adapter is securely connected. If using battery backup only, ensure batteries are fresh and installed correctly. If still blank, try a reset (see manual).

How to adjust the volume?

Turn the Volume knob clockwise to increase volume, counterclockwise to decrease. Adjust to a comfortable level.

How to switch between AM and FM?

Press the Band button to toggle between AM and FM. Tune to desired station using the Tuning dial.

How to reset the radio?

Locate the Reset button on the bottom or back of the unit. Use a paperclip to press and hold for 3 seconds. This clears all settings and restores defaults.

Can I use headphones?

Yes, plug headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the side. The built-in speaker will be muted automatically.

What to do if the alarm doesn't sound?

Check that the alarm is set correctly (see question 2). Ensure the volume is not set to minimum. Verify the Alarm On/Off switch is in the ON position. If still not working, try a reset.

1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before connecting, operating or adjusting the unit. Follow all warnings and operating recommendations in this manual. Keep this manual for future reference.

1. Before connecting the appliance check that the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the mains voltage in your country.

1. Plug the AC line cord into 220V AC home outlet.
2. The clock display will flash on and off.
3. To set the correct time, press the Time Set Button (7) and Hour Button (1) together until the correct hour is displayed. Press the Time Set Button (7) and the Minute Button (2) together until the correct minute is displayed.

Note:

Connect a 9 Volt battery to the terminals inside the battery compartment for the power backup function. If the AC power supply is interrupted (as during a storm), the battery supplies power to keep the time and alarm setting in memory.

The display will not be lit and the alarm will not sound until actual power is restored. The battery only stores your settings in memory during a power failure.

4. RADIO OPERATION

1. Slide the On/Off/Auto Switch (10) to 'On' position.
2. Slide Band Selector (8) to FM or AM position.
3. Turn the Volume Control (6) to desired volume.
4. Turn the Tuning Control (5) to select your favorite station.

Note:

For AM reception, this radio incorporates a highly sensitive ferrite core bar antenna built into the unit.

For FM reception, this set is specially equipped with an external wire as FM antenna. Be sure to untwist it to fullest length for peak performance.

5. ALARM OPERATION

WAKE TO RADIO

Having selected your station and set the volume at the desired level, proceed as follows:

1. Slide the On/Off/Auto Switch (10) to 'Auto' position.
2. Press the Alarm Set Button (3) and the Hour Button (1) together until the correct hour is displayed. Press the Alarm Set Button (3) and the Minute Button (2) together until the correct minute is displayed. The wake up time is now entered into the timer memory.
3. To check the wake up time, simply press the Alarm Set Button (3) and the clock will show the preset time. The preset wake up time will continue to be registered in the timer memory and the radio will switch on by itself at the same time the next day.
4. To switch the radio off, simply press the Alarm Off Button (3).

WAKE TO BUZZER

Set the controls same with 'Wake to Radio' but Volume Control (6) to 'Buzzer' position. The buzzer can then be switched off by pressing the Alarm Off Button (3) or it can be converted to the radio by selecting switch (10) to 'On' position.

SNOOZE CONTROL

The Snooze Button (9) allows the user an extra sleep time of about 9 minutes after the radio alarm is switched on at the preset wake up time. When alarm sounds press Snooze Button (9). Alarm will turn off and sound again in 9 minutes. This Snooze function can be used repeatedly.

6. SLEEP TO MUSIC

The radio can be set to switch off automatically for a length of time from 1 minute to 1 hour 59 minutes. With all the controls preset in the 'Wake to Radio' positions, press the Sleep Button (4) and the Minute Button (2) together, to count down to the desired sleep time. To switch off the radio before the preset sleep time period, simply press the Snooze Button (9).

7. GENERAL CARE

The cabinet can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth. Make sure the AC cord is disconnected from the outlet when cleaning.
