If vou press the POWER button on the remote control or projector, the screen appears within 80 seconds. e e The projector is in normal operating condition. . « This state appears when the projector is preparing an operation after the POWER button on the projector or the remote control has been pressed The POWER button is pressed to turn off the projector, and the cooling system is in operation to cool off the inside of the projector. Adjust the installation state of your projector by referring to the Installation Precautions section listed above. Cool down your projector sufficiently and then operate it again. lf the same problem oceurs continually, contact your product distributor or service center. Disconnect and reconnect the power cord and start the projector again. If the same symptom still occurs, contact your product distributor or service center. Turn the power off, wait for a sufficient amount of cooling time and then turn the power on to operate. If the same problem occurs continually, contact your product distributor or service center. Check the lamp usage time on the Information Display screen. If you need to replace the lamp. contact your product distributor or service center. ra This Projector uses a cooling fan system to keep the unit from overheating. — Dynamic Select this mode for a brighter and sharper picture than Standard Mode — Standard This is the picture mode optimized to the standard broadcast signal — Monitor This is the brightest picture mode appropriate for a presentation: — Monitor? This is the picture mode where the brighiness is optimized for text display. @ Q Mode — Movie This is the picture mode optimized for watching a movie in a dark environment — Game Select this when to enjoy a more vivid gaming experience — Sports Provides the optimal picture quality for sports. You can enjoy more thrilling picture — User Select this if you want to view the screen in your customized screen Mode. You can set this in Mode-Save. > The default setting is [Monitor 1].

7) Color Temperature : You can change tint of the entire screen to suit your needs.
> This cannot be used in [Monitor1] and [Sports] modes. — 5500K : Used to deliver optimal image quality for black-and-white films: 6] @
— 6500K : This is the color temperature that is applied for most movie productions and enables the most precise color representation: — 8000K : This color temperature is appropriate for very bright places and is the defaut setting for Dynamic Picture Mode. The sharpness and brightness are emphasized. — 9300K : The color temperature appropriate to very bright places such as a shop.
8) Gamma : An image compensation function that controls the settings according to the
video properties. > This cannot be used in [Monitort] and [Sports] modes. — Film : The best setting for watching a film. — Video : The best setting for watching a TV program. — Graphic : The Gamma mode appropriate to the PC screen and for bright video. Gamma
Size You can select a screen size according to the type of scene: > Refer to "Size Support Mode"

Black Level Using the Black Level function, you can set the light level of the darkest portion of the video signal so that you can clearly see dark areas on the screen. > The Black Level can only be selected in [Video], [S-Video] and [HDMI] modes. > For [Video] and [S-Video] Modes
1) OIRE : Sets the light level of the darkest portion of the video signal to low. If the
setting does not match the input signal, the dark screen looks milky-white.
2) 7.5 IRE : Sets the light level of the darkest portion of the video signal to high. 1f
the setting does not match the input signal, the dark screen is saturated and may not display properiy. > For [HDMI] Mode
1) Low : Set the brightness standard for dark signals to a low setting
If the input signal is an ‘HDMI-Video’ type. unclear screens are displayed normally.
2) Normal: Set the brighiness standard for dark signals to a high setting.
If the input signal is an ‘HDMI-PC' type, dark screens are displayed bright. Overscan Using this function, you can cut the edge of the picture when unnecessary information, images appear on the edge of the picture. > Refer to "Size Support Mode" 1 of
Film Mode Using this function, you can set the display mode optimized for playing movies. > Film Mode is only supported for [Video], [S-Video] and [Component].
PC Eliminates or reduces noise that causes unstable screen quality, such as screen shaking. If the noise is not removed using Fine Adjustment, adjust the frequency to the maximum and then perform Fine Adjustment again e] Q@ — Auto & 4 Only activated in the PC environment. Adjustment Coarse
