How do I charge the speaker?

Connect the Micro USB plug of the charging cable to the Micro USB DC Port on the rear panel. Then connect the large USB plug to a USB charger rated at 5V 1A minimum. The red indicator light shows charging; it turns off when fully charged.

How do I pair the speaker with my phone?

Move the ON/OFF switch to ON. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and search for devices. Select 'AVS1412' from the list. A chime indicates successful pairing. Then play music from your phone.

• Before plugging your unit into the USB supply, visually check that the unit is intact and has not suffered any transit damage.

Before the first time you use your LED Flashing Speaker

Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.

Charging the internal Battery

Before use, please ensure that the internal rechargeable battery is fully charged as follows:

1. Insert the Micro USB Plug (5) of the USB Charging Cable (4) into the Micro USB DC Port (3) on rear panel of the Speaker to charge the internal battery.
2. Insert the large USB plug on the other end of the USB Charging Cable (4) into a suitable USB charger rated at 5 volts 1 amp minimum.
3. The Charging Indicator (1) will light red to show the internal battery is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the Charging Indicator (1) will go out showing that the internal battery is fully charged and the USB Charging Cable (4) can be removed.

NB the Speaker can be used normally during charging.

Operating Instructions

Using the Bluetooth Mode

1. Move the ON/OFF Switch (2) to the 'ON' position to power up the speaker.
2. The speaker will light up to show it is powered up.
3. Enable the Bluetooth mode on your Phone, Tablet or other Bluetooth compatible device and set it to search.
4. Select 'AVS1412' from the search results found by your device which will now pair with the speaker. Once the device has paired the speaker will chime.
5. Enable the music player on your Phone, Tablet or other device you are using.
6. Use your devices controls in the usual manner to control the play/pause, volume, track change, etc.

NB the LED lights built into the speaker will flash to the beat of the music, switching automatically to various light patterns.

Care and Use of your Speaker

• Always disconnect the Speaker from the USB charging supply before cleaning.
- Clean outside of the Speaker with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not submerge the Speaker in water or any other liquids.
