How do I pair the headphones with my phone?

Turn on the headphones and put them in pairing mode by holding the power button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select 'iLive IAHB53' from the list.

How do I charge the headphones?

Connect the included Micro USB cable to the charging port on the right ear cup. Plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer or wall adapter). The LED will turn red while charging and blue when fully charged.

Why is there no sound coming from the headphones?

Ensure the headphones are turned on and paired with your device. Check that the volume is turned up both on the headphones and the connected device. Also, verify that the audio source is playing.

Can I use the headphones while charging?

Yes, you can use the headphones in wired mode (with the included 3.5mm cable) while charging. However, Bluetooth playback is not possible during charging.

How do I reset the headphones?

If the headphones are unresponsive, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. This will reset the device. You may need to re-pair with your phone.

Are the headphones compatible with my computer?

Yes, the headphones can be used with computers via Bluetooth or the included 3.5mm audio cable. For Bluetooth, ensure your computer has Bluetooth capability.

How do I clean the ear pads?

Remove the ear pads by gently pulling them off the ear cups. Hand wash with mild soap and water, then air dry completely before reattaching. Do not machine wash.

What should I do if the headphones connect but sound is distorted?

Try moving your device closer to the headphones to reduce interference. Also, check that the headphones are fully charged. Distortion may also occur if the volume is too high; lower the volume on both devices.

Can I replace the battery?

The battery is built-in and not user-replaceable. If the battery no longer holds a charge, contact iLive support for service options.

How long does the battery last?

The headphones provide up to 10 hours of playtime on a full charge. Actual battery life may vary depending on volume level and usage.

Controls and Functions

Charging the Battery

To charge the battery, use the USB-C to USB cable (included), to connect to the USB port of a powered-on computer or a UL certified USB power adaptor (not included). Charge fully before use. The initial charge time is approximately 2 hours.

Pairing Bluetooth

1. Power on the headphones. The headphones default to Bluetooth Mode and are ready to pair automatically. When pairing, stay within 3 feet of the Bluetooth device.
2. On your Bluetooth device, search for nearby devices in your Bluetooth settings and select IAHB53. When successfully connected to your Bluetooth device, a voice prompt will announce the Bluetooth connection.
3. Audio played through the connected Bluetooth device will now be heard through the headphones. Use the controls on the connected device to play audio and adjust volume.

Note: To pair to a different Bluetooth device, press and hold the Bluetooth Pairing button to manually enter Pairing Mode.

Previously Connected Devices

• The headphones can remember multiple Bluetooth devices and will always try to reconnect to the last device used.
• To reconnect to a different device, turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices, then access the Bluetooth settings menu on the device you wish to use and select IAHB53.

Aux In

Aux mode will function even if the headphones are not powered on. To conserve battery power, the headphones will automatically power off when using Aux In.

Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (included).

1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the Aux In on the headphones and the audio output on an audio device.
2. Use the controls on the connected device to select and play audio.
