  2. To connect the hose, press the locking tab at the base of the hose, then push it into the corresponding socket at the front of the unit until it locks into place.

Connecting the Pole:

  1. To connect the pole, begin by attaching the larger end to the hose handle.
  2. When the pole and hose are connected, push the pole extension locking tab at the lower end of the pole downwards to release the locking mechanism. Once the lock has been released, pull the extension pole out and extend it to the desired height. When the pole is at the desired height, release the locking tab; it will automatically slide back into a locked position and secure the pole into place.
  3. Finally, connect the floorhead to the end of the extension pole, ensuring it is secured into place
  4. To remove the floorhead and poles, grip each of them firmly and pull them away from the main body of the appliance until they detach.

Connecting the Accessories:

This vacuum cleaner comes complete with the following accessories;

  • A crevice tool to vacuum corners or narrow gaps.
  • A brush tool to clean delicate surfaces.
    · a pet brush, ideal for picking up animal hair.
  • To connect and use the accessories included with this vacuum cleaner, attach each one to the end of the tube, as required. Ensure each accessory is firmly connected to the tube before turning on the vacuum cleaner, to prevent them from falling off whilst in use.

  • To remove each accessory, grip it firmly, then pull it away from the main body of the appliance.

Note: Keep the brushes free of fibres, hairs, and other objects that could impede proper functioning. Always remove the fibres or other objects when the brushes pick them up.

Using the Vacuum:

  1. To use your vacuum cleaner, start by plugging it into a mains socket.
  2. Once the vacuum is plugged in, unravel the power cord to your desired length. DO NOT extend the power cord beyond the red mark, as this is likely to damage it.
  3. When the power cable has been adjusted to the desired length, press the Power button on top of the appliance to turn it on. The motor will come on and air will start emitting from the floorhead to indicate the vacuum is in operation.
  4. Press the Power button again when the unit is in operation to turn it off. The motor will stop working and air will stop emitting from the floorhead to indicate the vacuum has been powered down.

Note: This vacuum cleaner works best on smooth surfaces such as wood, ceramic, tiles and marble. It will also perform well on hard, short-haired carpet. It should NOT be used on long-haired carpets as the fibres will damage the system.

Adjusting the Floor Brush:

  1. The unit's floorhead is equipped with a tab mechanism, which releases or retracts the bristles to suit carpet or hard floor vacuuming.
  2. Push the tab on the unit's floorhead upwards to set it to hard floor mode, or push it downwards from the hard floor setting to adjust it to carpet vacuuming.

Rewinding the Power Cord:

This unit is equipped with an automatic cord retraction system. Press the Cord Rewind button on the unit's main body to automatically retract the power cord.

Note: Always ensure the unit is disconnected from the mains before attempting to retract the power cord. DO NOT retract the power cord while the unit is plugged into a mains socket, as this could cause damage to the cable.

Note: The power cord can only be automatically retracted. To unwind the power cord, pull it manually out of its storage nook on the main body of the unit until it is at the desired length.

Note: The yellow and red markings on the power cord indicate the limits to which the cord should be stretched. The yellow marking represents the maximum recommended length for the cord, while the red marking indicates the maximum limit to which it can be unwound without damaging. If possible, only unwind the cord as far as the yellow marking. NEVER unwind the cord past the red marking, as this will cause damage to it.

WARNING! NEVER operate the appliance without the dust tank filter in place.
