Thank you for purchasing the Innoliving model INN-677 handheld garment steamer.
Read the instructions for use carefully before using the product and keep this instruction manual for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- After removing the packaging, check the integrity of the appliance. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized assistance centre.
- The packing elements (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc.) must not be left within the reach of children or people with reduced mental capacities, as they are potential sources of danger.
- Always make sure that the mains voltage is the same as that indicated on the technical data label and that the system is compatible with the power of the appliance.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only for ironing fabrics. Any other use is to be considered improper and dangerous.
- Fully unwind the power cord before plugging the appliance into a grounded outlet.
- To reduce the risk of contact with hot water escaping from the steam vents, check the appliance before each use by holding it away from your body and pressing the steam trigger.

The appliance must always be switched off before connecting or disconnecting the plug from the mains. Do not pull the cord to disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.

If the power cord is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by an authorized technical assistance service or by the manufacturer, to avoid any danger.
- The appliance can be used by children over 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or with lack of experience or knowledge, if supervised or instructed to use the appliance in safety conditions and prior understanding of the related risks.
- Children must be supervised so that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance or cord in water or other liquids.
- Do not touch the metal parts of the product, hot water or steam. These parts get very hot and can cause burns. Be careful when turning the appliance upside down, hot water left in the tank could come out.
- The surfaces marked with this symbol, the plate and the steam cable are very hot when the appliance is in use. Do not touch these surfaces before the appliance has cooled down completely.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged in. Before storing the appliance, once it has been disconnected from the power outlet, wait for it to cool down (about 1 hour).

Do not let the plug or cord come into contact with the hot plate. Allow the product to cool completely before storing. Then roll the cord around the iron for storage.

Unplug the product from the power outlet before filling or emptying the water tank.
- Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces or come into contact with sharp or rough edges.
- To avoid overloading the circuit, do not operate another high voltage appliance in the same electrical circuit while using the iron.
- The use of adapters, multiple sockets and extension cords is not recommended. If necessary, use only approved devices that comply with current safety standards, making sure that they are compatible with the power of the appliance. If in doubt, contact personnel professionally qualified.
- When placing the iron vertically, make sure that the surface on which the iron rests is stable.
- Do not direct the steam towards people, animals or clothes while they are being worn.
- Do not use the product if it has been dropped, if there is visible damage or if you notice leaks.
- The use of accessories other than those supplied by the manufacturer is not recommended and may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
- Cleaning and maintenance operations must not be carried out by children without supervision. Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children under the age of 8 when it is plugged in or cooling down. Exercise caution when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.

BEFORE FIRST USE
The first time you use the appliance, it may produce smoke or innocuous odors, or you may experience a small release of particles. These do not affect the use of the appliance and will disappear quickly.
Before using the product for the first time, make sure you have removed any adhesive or protective film from the soleplate. We recommend cleaning the plate with a soft cloth moistened with water.
WHICH WATER TO USE?
The appliance has been designed for use with tap water. Do not use pure demineralized or pure distilled water, water from clothes dryers, perfumed or softened water, rain, filtered, bottled or boiled water, water from refrigerators, batteries or air conditioners to avoid damaging the appliance. These types of water contain organic waste, mineral elements that concentrate when heated and cause splashes, brown spots, leaks or premature wear of the appliance. If the water you are using is very hard, mix 50% untreated tap water with 50% distilled water.
BEFORE USE
- Press the tank release button and remove it from the unit.
- Open the water inlet cap (indicated by the arrow in the side image), fill the water tank with up to 350ml of raw water.
- Close the water inlet cap.
- Put the water tank back on the main unit and lock it.
- Hang your garment on a hanger.
WARNING! Do not steam iron a garment while it is being worn.

The product is equipped with a multi-function accessory: fabric brush/lint remover.
The brush opens the weave of the fabrics for better steam penetration.
WARNING! Before removing or attaching accessories, unplug the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool for one hour.
HOW TO USE
Plug in the appliance.
Wait for the light to go out (about 30 seconds).
Press the steam button with the appliance facing away from you, keeping it in a vertical position.
For a continuous jet of steam, block the steam release button with the appropriate switch.
To release it, push it up.
For optimal use, pass the jets of steam over the garment from top to bottom.
AFTER USE
Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
WARNING! Do not touch the plate of the appliance!
Before proceeding with any cleaning and maintenance activity or storing the appliance, allow it to cool down for at least one hour.
After the appliance has cooled down completely, press the water tank release button and remove it from the appliance.
Completely empty the water tank
Put the water tank back on the appliance, blocking it.
CLEANING
After use, wait at least one hour before proceeding with any cleaning and maintenance activities.
To clean the external surface of the appliance, use only a soft cloth moistened with water.
Do not use cleaning products. Completely dry the appliance with a dry cloth before using it again.
Never wash or rinse the appliance directly over a sink or under a tap.
