Frequently Asked Questions - INN-519 Innoliving

How do I install the INN-519 air conditioner?
Install the exhaust hose in the window using the provided sealing kit. Ensure the hose is not bent and the window is sealed. Plug the unit into a grounded outlet.
Can I use the air conditioner without the exhaust hose?
No, the exhaust hose must be vented outside to remove hot air. Using it without the hose will not cool the room and may damage the unit.
How often should I clean the air filter?
Clean the washable filter every 2 weeks for optimal performance. More often in dusty environments. Remove the filter, vacuum or wash with mild soap, dry completely before reinstalling.
What does the 'Self-Evaporating' feature mean?
The unit recycles moisture generated during cooling to improve efficiency. In high humidity, you may need to manually drain the water tank using the bottom drain plug.
How can I reduce noise from the air conditioner?
Use the Sleep mode which lowers fan speed and noise. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Ensure the compressor is not in contact with walls.
The remote control is not working. What should I do?
Check the batteries. Replace them if needed. Point the remote directly at the receiver on the unit. Remove any obstacles between remote and unit.
Can I use an extension cord with this air conditioner?
It is not recommended. Plug the unit directly into a dedicated wall outlet. Extension cords may overheat and cause fire hazard.
What is the operating temperature range?
The unit can cool effectively in ambient temperatures from 18°C to 35°C (64°F to 95°F). Below 18°C the cooling function may not activate.
How do I store the air conditioner in winter?
Clean the filter and drain all water from the tank. Run the fan mode for a few hours to dry the interior. Store upright in a dry place.
Why does the unit display error code E1?
E1 usually indicates a sensor error or overheat. Turn off the unit, unplug it, wait 10 minutes, and restart. If persistent, contact support.
