How do I install the batteries in the Izzy SmartApp IZ-7005?

Open the battery compartment on the underside. Insert three AAA batteries with correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

How to pair the scale with the app?

Download the Izzy SmartApp from the App Store or Google Play. Enable Bluetooth on your phone. Open the app, create an account, and follow the pairing instructions. Step on the scale to activate it.

What parameters does the scale measure?

The scale measures weight, BMI, body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone mass, visceral fat, basal metabolic rate, and body water percentage.

How do I switch between kg, lb, and st?

Press the unit button on the back or side of the scale (if available) or change the unit in the app settings. The scale will display the selected unit on the next use.

Why is the scale not connecting to Bluetooth?

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the scale is within range (about 5 meters). Try turning off Bluetooth and on again, or reset the scale by removing batteries for 10 seconds.

How to clean the scale?

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. Dry thoroughly before use.

Can multiple users use the same scale?

Yes, the scale supports up to 8 users via auto-recognition. Each user must have a profile in the app and step on the scale consistently.

What does 'Err' or 'Lo' mean on the display?

'Lo' indicates low battery; replace batteries. 'Err' may indicate an error like unstable placement or overload. Place the scale on a flat, hard surface and try again.

Is the scale suitable for people with pacemakers?

This scale uses a low electrical current for body composition analysis. It is not recommended for individuals with pacemakers or other medical implants. Consult your doctor.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. Please keep the sales receipt for guarantee purposes (pls see below “Guarantee and Customer Service”) Any use which does not conform to the instructions will absolve IZZY from any liability.

• The bathroom scale is intended for indoor use. Do not use it outdoors.
• The bathroom scale is intended only for domestic use. Any other use will cancel the warranty.
• Never use the scale for any other use than indicated.
• Your scale is electronic and thus its function may be influenced by temperature variations or by its movement.
• The scale must be placed on a flat, stable, smooth, and sheltered area. Always place the scale on a sheltered area when in use as air movement and may affect its accuracy.
• Do not overload the scale by exceeding the maximum weighing capacity of 180kg/400lb/28st:lb as this may damage the weighing sensor.
• Do not expose the scale to any high electro-magnetic fields such as a cordless portable phone, computer, microwave etc. as this will interfere with the functioning and accuracy of the scale.
• Do not subject the scale to excessive force.
• Do not stand the scale near an oven or other direct source of heat.
• Do not operate or stand the scale in places with high humidity, where it may get wet.
• Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents. Never use metal scouring pads for cleaning.
• Do not move the scale when in operation.

• Do not touch the scale with wet or damp hands.

• In case of a possible damage, do not attempt to repair the scale by yourself. Please contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.

• Any repair made by an unauthorized BENRUBI Service Center CANCELS THE GUARANTEE.
• Any misuse of the device cancels the warranty.
• The appliance conforms to EU directive 2014/30/EU on Electromagnetic Compatibility.

Tips

The measurements displayed are indicative. Consult your doctor if you are on a diet or exercise.

• The scale should not be used by people with pacemaker.
  • Metal implants may affect measurements.
• NOT recommended for pregnant women.
• NOT recommended for infants, toddlers and children under 10 years.
• Consult your doctor before making changes to your diet, exercise program or physical activity.
• If the user is under 6 years old, only weight is measured. The other measurements are not possible.

• If the user is under 10 years old, only weight and BMI are measured. The other measurements are not possible.

• Place the appliance on a stable and dry surface when not in use. Do not storage anything on the appliance in any case.

• Do not place the scale on a wet, very hot or too cold surface.
• Do not use the bath scale on the carpet.
• For accurate weight measurement, distribute your weight evenly on the appliance and stand still. Remember to place your feet on the same spot each time you are weighing yourself.
• The weight indication may be influenced by the clothes you are wearing or by the fact that you may have eaten before measurement.
• Do not weigh with wet feet. The platform may get slip.
• In case you want to observe your weight accurately for a long time period, it is important each time to weigh yourself at the same time, without having clothes on and without moving the electronic bath scale to different place.

- When "0.0" is displayed, the scale remains open for 15 seconds. Then, the scale closes automatically to protect the battery life.

- The scale can also be used as a simple scale without connection. In this case the other measurements are not possible.

Batteries' Installation & Replacement

• Make sure you connect the batteries with the correct polarity.
• If the scale is not going to be used for a long time, remove the batteries

Batteries installation:

1. Unclip the battery cover (4) on the underside of the scale by pushing the clip inwards and then lifting off. Place the batteries inside the battery compartment (4), connecting them to the appropriate polarity.
2. Clip the battery cover (4) back into place.

Note: During use, if the battery symbol "LO" appears on the LCD screen, it means that battery power is low and the batteries should be replaced.

Batteries replacement:

1. Unclip the battery cover (4) on the underside of the scale by pushing the clip inwards and then lifting off. Remove the old batteries and fit the replacement (4xAAA),

2. Clip the battery cover (4) back into place

2. The application icon will appear on the screen of your phone or tablet when the installation is complete.

1. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile or tablet.
2. Enter "Fitdays" application and click "Register".
3. Enter your email and password.
4. Select "I have read and I agree. Privacy Policy" and click "Next".
5. Add your personal details (name, date of birth, height... etc) and press "Confirm".

Note: If you enter incorrect information, the measurements will not be valid.

1. The steps you need to follow will be displayed on the screen.

2. Press the platform with your foot until "0.0" appears on the display (1).

3. Step on the platform without shoes and socks. Place your feet in the same place each time and balance your body. Remember to stay still.

4. When standing on the platform (2) barefoot, press "Start Measurement".

5. On the screen of the mobile or tablet the measurement will start and the weight will flash until the weighing and analysis process is done.

6. Stay on the platform until the cycle has stabilized and the phone or tablet has received all the data from the scales.

"FITDAYS" Measurement

The SMARTAPP IZZY balance provides analysis of 13 body compositions in 1 assay. In addition to weight and body mass index, you can have the following information accurately:

How to Change/Add User

• Press the icon on the top left of your screen and change or add a user.
• The application has memory of up to 24 measurements (1-24) per account.

Measurement History

• Press "Charts" at the bottom of the screen to display the measurement history. You can view the measurement history by week, by month or by year.
• Press "Account" at the bottom of the screen to display your account information. With the "Settings" option you can change the account details.

Baby Mode

An additional function of the SMARTAPP IZZY smart scale is to measure the weight of a baby. The process is very simple and easy, as long as you hold the baby in your arms, the scale automatically removes your own weight, displaying the baby's weight.

1. Press "+" on the top right of the screen.
2. Select "Baby Mode".
3. Step on the platform to weigh yourself.
4. Once the weight is stabilized on the screen, hold the baby to weigh the baby.
5. The scale automatically removes your own weight, showing the weight of the baby.

How to Change Weight Unit

To change the unit of weight, you must change it on both the balance and the mobile or tablet.

Change the unit of weight in the yoke.

1. Open the battery cover (4) at the bottom of the scale by pushing the hook in, then lift and remove.

2. Press the "UNIT" key until the unit of measurement of your choice appears on the screen.

Change the unit of weight measurement on the mobile/tablet.

1. Tap "Account" at the bottom of the screen to display your account information.
2. Select "Settings" and then "Switch units".
3. Select the unit of measurement you want.

Care & Cleaning

• Do not immerse the electronic bath scale into water or any other liquid. Do not wet it with water or any other liquid.
• The Glass platform may be pretty slippery when wet, thus please make sure both the glass your feet are dry before using.
• Please use soft tissue with alcohol or glass cleaner to clean the surface if it is dirty. No soap or other chemicals. Keep it away from water, heat and extreme coldness.
  • Always protect the appliance from high temperatures and/or strong sunshine.
• Never use chemical or abrasive cleaners for cleaning the appliance.
• Handle your scale with care; do not drop it or jump on it.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM	SOLUTION
Bluetooth is not connected	Verify that your phone or tablet has Bluetooth enabled.Check if your phone or tablet is compatible.
No body fat data were measured during weighing	Confirm that the user is not wearing shoes or socks during weighing.Make sure your feet and scales are both dry.The balance has not completed the measurement. Continue to stand on the balance for about 10 seconds until the number on the screen stops flashing.Bluetooth is not turned on.Bluetooth is connected to a different scales.
The scale shows incoherent measurements	Make sure the scale is on a dry, level surface.Check the sensors on the back to make sure nothing is stuck to the bottom.Remove and reinsert the batteries to restart the balance.
The application displays incorrect fat-muscle ratio	Body settings are incorrect. Make sure you enter the correct gender, height and age.

Safe Appliance Disposal

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household device separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.

As a reminder of the need to dispose of household devices separately, the product is marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.
