How do I clean the blender after use?

Unplug the blender. Remove the jug and rinse with warm soapy water. For tough residue, blend warm water with a drop of dish soap. Do not immerse the motor base in water.

Can I blend hot liquids?

No, avoid blending hot liquids as steam pressure can cause the lid to pop off and risk burns. Let liquids cool to at least 60°C before blending.

What is the maximum capacity?

The jug has a maximum capacity of 1.5 liters. Do not exceed the 'MAX' line to prevent overflow and motor damage.

Why does the blender stop working during use?

The blender has an overload protection feature. If it stops, unplug and let it cool for 15 minutes. Reduce the load and try again.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Yes, the stainless steel blades can crush ice. Use the pulse function in short bursts. Do not fill the jug more than halfway with ice.

How do I use the pulse function?

Press and hold the pulse button for short bursts. Release to stop. This is ideal for chopping or achieving a coarse texture.

Is the blender jug dishwasher safe?

The glass jug is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the blade sharpness. The lid and measuring cup should be washed by hand.

What should I do if the blade is dull?

The blade assembly is not user-serviceable. Contact Qtx customer service for replacement parts or send the blender to an authorized service center.

Can I blend dry ingredients like nuts?

Yes, you can blend dry ingredients such as nuts or seeds. Use the pulse function and do not overfill. Ensure the lid is securely locked.

Thank you for choosing the QTX mini mixer series as part of your audio system. These convenient, compact units are designed to provide a useful solution for combining several mic or line signals into a single sound system.

Please read and keep this guide to help get the best results and avoid damage to your mini mixer.

The QTX mini mixers can be powered by a 9V battery or optional 12Vdc power adaptor.

To insert a 9V PP3 battery, unscrew the cover on the base of the mixer, connect the battery clip and replace cover.

Alternatively, connect a 12Vdc 200mA (min) adaptor to the rear DC input, ensuring the correct polarity.

With the power switched off at the rear and all volume controls turned down, connect all inputs via 6.3mm jack.

MM41 and MM81 models have inputs to match microphone level. LM41 and LM82 models require line level inputs.

All inputs will be mixed to a single output except the LM82 mixer, which feeds 4 inputs to each of 2 outs for stereo.

Connect the output jack(s) to the sound system or recording device.

Switch the power on and turn up Master Volume part way. The power LED will illuminate.

Increase each input channel volume in turn, checking the level through the connected equipment.

When all inputs are balanced as required, adjust the Master Volume to the required level.

Ensure that the red LED beside the Master Volume control does not light other than momentarily.

If this LED stays on longer than this, reduce the Master volume.
