Frequently Asked Questions - PRO-2 MKII Citronic

How do I connect turntables to the PRO-2 MKII?
Connect your turntables to the Phono inputs on Channel 1 and 2 (RCA). Ensure the input selector switch is set to Phono. If your turntables are not self-grounded, connect the earth wire to the grounding point on the rear panel.
What is the correct power supply for this mixer?
Use only the supplied external power supply rated at 12Vac, 500mA. Using a different power supply may damage the unit.
How do I set the levels correctly?
Turn down Master Volume, Microphone Level, Channel Faders, and Gain controls before powering on. Gradually increase Gain, Master Volume, and Channel Faders while monitoring the VU meter. Aim for the first red LEDs to light intermittently.
Why is there no sound output?
Check the following: power switch is on, all cables are securely connected, Master Volume and Channel Faders are turned up, the Crossfader position is correct (not centered), the input source is playing, and the input selector is set to Line or Phono as appropriate.
How do I replace the crossfader?
Disconnect the mains power. Undo the two securing screws slightly, lift the crossfader, and disconnect it from the in-line connector (note orientation). Connect the new crossfader, reposition, and secure with the screws.
How can I monitor channels through headphones?
Connect headphones to the Headphone jack on the front panel. Use the Cue Level knob to set volume and the Cue Mix knob to blend between Channel 1 and Channel 2.
What should I do if the sound is distorted?
Ensure line-level sources are not connected to Phono inputs. Reduce Gain levels and check that Master Volume and Channel Faders are not set too high. Also verify the volume control on your amplifier or speakers.
How do I clean the mixer?
Use a lint-free cloth, either dry or slightly damp (with water only). Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Ensure no moisture enters the controls or connectors.
Can I connect a microphone to this mixer?
Yes, connect a DJ microphone to the 6.3mm Jack input on the front panel. Adjust the Microphone Level control and use the Mic EQ (Hi and Lo) to shape the sound.
What is the warranty and where can I find support?
This product is covered by a standard manufacturer's warranty. For service or support, contact Citronic or your authorized dealer. Refer to www.citronic.com for more information.
