How do I install the LG RP1329AN7S washing machine?
Ensure the machine is placed on a level, sturdy surface. Remove transit bolts before first use. Connect water inlet hose to a tap with cold water and plug the power cord into a grounded outlet. For detailed steps, refer to the installation section of the manual.
How do I clean the detergent drawer?
Press the release button inside the drawer and pull it out. Rinse under warm water and clean the recess with a soft brush. Reinsert and close firmly. Do this every 2-3 months to prevent buildup.
What does error code 'OE' mean?
Error OE indicates a drainage problem. Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged, and ensure the drain pump filter is clean. If the issue persists, contact LG support.
Can I use bleach with this washing machine?
Yes, but only use liquid bleach in the main wash compartment. Do not mix with other detergents. Avoid overfilling to prevent damage to clothes and the machine.
How do I activate the Child Lock feature?
Press and hold the Child Lock button (usually labeled with a padlock icon) for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up. To deactivate, repeat the process. This prevents accidental button presses during a cycle.
What is the maximum load capacity for a cotton cycle?
The recommended maximum load is 9 kg for cotton. Overloading can affect washing performance and spin efficiency. Check the manual for cycle-specific load limits.
How often should I run the tub clean cycle?
LG recommends running the Tub Clean cycle every 2-3 months to remove detergent residue and bacteria. Use an LG tub cleaner tablet or a cup of bleach (without clothes).
What does the AI DD feature do?
AI DD uses built-in sensors to detect fabric weight and softness, then automatically optimizes the washing motion for better care and less wear. It helps extend the life of your clothes.
Why is my machine vibrating excessively?
Check that the transit bolts have been removed. Ensure the machine is level by adjusting the feet. Also, avoid overloading and ensure the floor is stable.
How do I reset the machine after a power cut?
Simply press the Power button to turn it off and on again. If the cycle was interrupted, select the desired cycle and press Start/Pause. The machine will resume from where it stopped, if possible.
