Warnings

  • In the use of the device, you must be in strict compliance with the electrical safety regulations of the naon and region.
  • Input voltage should meet both the SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) and the Limited Power Source with 12 VDC according to the IEC60950-1 standard. Refer to technical speciaons for detailed informaon.
  • Do not connect mulple devices to one power adapter to avoid over-heang or a re hazard caused by overload.
  • Make sure that the plug is rmly connected to the power socket.
  • Make sure that the device is rmly xed if wall mounng or ceiling mounng is adopted.

Cauons

  • Do not drop the camera or subject it to physical shock.
  • Do not touch senor modules with ngers.
  • If cleaning is necessary, use clean cloth with a bit of ethanol and wipe it gently.
  • Do not aim the camera at the sun or extra bright places.
  • The sensor may be burned out by a laser beam, so when any laser equipment is in using, make sure that the surface of sensor will not be exposed to the laser beam.
  • Do not expose the device to high electromagned radiaon or extremely hot, cold, dusty or damp environment.
  • To avoid heat accumulation, good ventilaon is required for the operang environment.
  • Keep the camera away from liquid while in use for non-water-proof device.
  • While in delivery, the camera shall be packed in its original packing, or packing of the same texture.

1.1 Product Features

The camera is applicable for both indoor and outdoor conditions, and the applicaon scenarios include road, warehouse, underground parking lot, bar, etc..

1.2 Overview

This manual applies to ve types of cameras. The overviews of each type are shown in the gures below.

1.2.1 Overview of Type I Camera

Before you start:

  • Make sure that the device in the package is in good condion and all the assembly parts are included.
  • Make sure that all the related equipment is power-off during the installaon.
  • Check the specicaon of the products for the installaon environment.
  • Check whether the power supply is matched with your power output to avoid the damage.
  • Make sure the wall is strong enough to withstand three mes the weight of the camera and the bracket.
  • If the wall is cement, insert expansion bolts before installing the camera. If the wall is wooden, use self-tapping screws to secure the camera.
  • If the product does not funcon properly, contact your dealer or the nearest service center. Do NOT disassemble the camera for repair or maintenance by yourself.

2.1 Installaon of Type I and Type II Camera

Before you start:

Type I and type II camera share the same installaon, and we take type I camera as the example to describe the installaon method.

Both wall moung and ceiling moung are suitable for the camera. We take ceiling moung as an example in this secon. You can take the steps of ceiling moung as a reference, when adopng wall moung.

Steps:

  1. Disassemble the turret camera by rotang the camera to align the notch to one of the marks, as shown in the gure below.

  1. Remove the moung base from the camera body with a at object, e.g., a coin.
  2. Paste the drill template (supplied) to the place where you want to install the camera.
  3. Drill the screw holes and the cable hole (oponal) on the ceiling according to the drill template.

  1. Connect the corresponding cables, such as power cord, and video cable.

  2. Power on the camera to check whether the image on the monitor is goen from the opmum angle. If not, adjust the camera according to the gure below to get an opmum angle.

1). Hold the camera body and rotate the enclosure to adjust the pan posion [0^ to 360^] .

2). Move the camera body up and down to adjust the lt posion [0° to 75°].

2.2 Installaon of Type III Camera

Before you start:

1). Loosen the No.3 screw to adjust the pan posion [0° to 360°]. Tighten the screw aer compleng the adjustment.
2). Loosen the No.2 screw to adjust the lt posion [0° to 180°]. Tighten the screw aer compleng the adjustment.
3). Loosen the No.1 screw and rotate the camera [0° to 360°]. Tighten the screw aer compleng the adjustment..

Purpose:

Call the menu by clicking button ☐ on the PTZ Control interface, or call preset No.95.

Steps:

  1. Connect the camera with the TVI DVR, and the monitor, shown as the gure 3-1.

  1. Power on the analog camera, TVI DVR, and the monitor to view the image on the monitor.
  2. Click PTZ Control to enter the PTZ Control interface.

3.1 FORMAT

You can set the format as 720p@25fps/1080p@25fps, or 720p@30fps/1080p@30fps.

3.2 LANGUAGE

Supports English, and Chinese.

3.3 MAIN MENU

3.3.1 AE (AUTO EXPOSURE)

Auto Exposure describes the brightness-related parameters, which can be adjusted by BRIGHTNESS, EXPOSURE MODE, AGC, and DWDR.

BRIGHTNESS

Brightness refers to the brightness of the image. You can set the brightness value from 1 to 10 to darken or brighten the image. The higher the value, the brighter the image is.

EXPOSURE MODE

lights (e.g.: incandescent light). The image switches from color to B/W or from B/W to color automacally according to the light condion. You can turn on/o the INFRARED and set the value of SMART IR under SMART 1 or SMART 2 mode.

You can turn on/o the IR LED to meet the requirements of dierent circumstances.

- SMART IR

The SMART IR funcon is used to adjust the light to its most suitable intensity, and prevent the image from over exposure. The SMART IR value can be adjusted from 1 to 3. The higher the value, the more obvious eects are.

3.3.3 VIDEO SETTING

Move the cursor to VIDEO SETTING and click Iris+ to enter the submenu. CONTRAST, SHARPNESS, COLOR GAIN, and DNR are adjustable.

CONTRAST

This feature enhances the dierence in color and light among parts of an image. You can set the CONTRAST value from 1 to 10.

SHARPNESS

Sharpness determines the amount of detail an imaging system can reproduce. You can set the SHARPNESS value from 1 to 10.

COLOR GAIN

Adjust this feature to change the saturaton of the color. The value ranges from 1 to 10.

DNR (Digital Noise Reducon)

The DNR funcon can decrease the noise effect, especially when capturing moving images in poor light conditions and delivering more accurate and sharp image quality. You can set the DNR value from 1 to 10.

3.3.4 RESET

Move the cursor to RESET and click Iris+ to reset all the sengs to the default.

3.3.5 SAVE-EXIT

Move the cursor to SAVE-EXIT and click Iris+ to save the seng and exit the menu.
