How do I install the CR900 dash cam?

Attach the suction mount to the windshield and slide the camera onto the mount. Connect the car charger to the micro USB port and route the cable along the windshield edge. Adjust the lens angle for a clear view of the road.

What type of memory card should I use?

Use a microSD card with Class 10 or higher speed rating, capacity up to 64GB. Format the card in the camera before first use.

How do I set the date and time?

Go to Settings > Date/Time and adjust using the buttons. Enable GPS (if available) for automatic time sync.

What is loop recording and how does it work?

Loop recording splits video into 1/3/5-minute segments. When the card is full, the oldest files are overwritten automatically unless locked by G-sensor.

How does the G-sensor function?

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collision and locks the current recording file to prevent it from being overwritten. Sensitivity can be adjusted in settings.

Can I use parking mode?

Yes, enable Parking Mode in settings. The camera enters motion detection or time-lapse recording when the vehicle is off and power is supplied via hardwire kit (not included).

How does night vision work?

The camera uses a low-light sensor and IR LEDs to capture clear footage in dark conditions. Ensure the lens is clean for optimal performance.

What is the battery life?

The built-in 200mAh Li-ion battery provides about 10 minutes of recording time without external power. It is designed for temporary use and parking mode buffer.

How can I view recorded footage?

Remove the microSD card and insert into a computer or use the camera's Playback mode. You can also connect via HDMI to a TV (cable not included).

How do I reset the device?

Press and hold the Reset button (located on the side or bottom) with a paperclip for 5 seconds. This restores factory settings without deleting recordings.

NAVITEL CR900 FULL HD is a multifunctional high-definition digital video recorder with many functions and features that are described in this User Manual. Please read the manual carefully before using the device and keep it for future reference.

Installation

1. Stop the car engine.
2. Put the microSD card into the DVR.

Note: use a high-speed microSD card (Class 10 above); capacity should be within 8-64 GB.

• To avoid malfunctions of the DVR and / or SD-card, don't insert and remove SD-card during DVR operation.

• Before using a microSD card, please format it inside the DVR to avoid data errors. For formatting the SD-card in Menu mode select Format SD-card and confirm it.

• Secure the device on the windshield with the bracket.

• Connect the car charger to the cigarette lighter socket.
• Connect the mini-USB interface to the car charger with the charger extension cord.

Note: charger extension cord can be placed along the edge of the windscreen.

1. Adjust the camera position; make sure the lens is facing parallel to the ground.

2. Start the engine; check whether the device is installed correctly.

Note: if the device is installed correctly, the indicator will glow red; the device will start up and begin recording (indicated by flashing blue light.

Precautions

1. Use only the original charger adapter. Using another adapter may negatively affect the device's battery.
2. Do not use the device in humid or hot environment.
3. Keep the lens clean.
4. Do not disassemble the device and do not perform repairs by yourself.
5. Strictly follow the laws and regulatory acts of the region where the device is used. This device can not be used for illegal purposes.
6. Permissible ambient temperature in operating mode: 0 to +35 °C. Storage temperature: +5 to +45 °C. Relative humidity: 5% to 90% without condensation (25 °C).

Note: The built-in battery is designed only for recording an emergency event in parking mode and turning off the device correctly when the power is turned off. For the full operation of the device in any mode, a constant power connection is required.

Device functions

Format SD-card Formatting a microSD card in the DVR is necessary for the correct operation of the device. Before using a microSD card or in case of data error, please format the microSD card. For formatting the SD-card in Menu mode select Format SD-card and confirm it.

Video Connect the device to an external power supply and it will start recording automatically (indicated by the flashing blue light). Press the OK button to stop recording (the blue light will become steady). Press OK again to record another video. Each video will be saved automatically.

Photo In Video Record mode, press the Menu button to enter Capture mode, press the OK button to take a photo (it will be saved automatically).

Playback In Video Record mode, press the Menu button twice to enter Playback mode; press the Up and Down buttons to select a file; press the OK button to play a file. During playback, press OK to pause/unpause; press the Up and Down keys to fast forward/rewind.

Lock file In Video Record mode, press Power to protect the current recording. A key symbol will appear at the bottom of the screen. In Playback mode, select a file, press Menu and select Protect, then Lock Current or Lock All. Protected files cannot be deleted or overwritten. Select Unlock Current/Unlock All to remove protection.

Sound Record Choose this option to record video with or without sound.

Loop recording This feature allows you to save a video as a set of files given in the duration menu. If the memory card runs out of space, the unprotected files will be overwritten in the order in which they were created.

G-sensor If this function is on, when vehicle is hit by something, the DVR will automatically lock the current video.

Parking monitor	In shutdown state, if vibration is detected, the device will turn on automatically and start recording. The file will be protected (locked). If nothing happens for over a minute, the device will shut down.
Stamp	This function adds date stamp or device logo to the record. Click OK to select type of stamp or to switch the function off.
Battery	Red indicator lights up when the device is plugged into an external power supply; as the battery is charging, the red will gradually dim; the red light going out means the battery is full.
