Frequently Asked Questions - EDH903BEWA ELECTROLUX

How do I clean the lint filter?
Open the door and remove the lint filter from the door aperture. Clean it under running water or with a vacuum cleaner. Dry it thoroughly before reinserting. Do not run the dryer without the lint filter.
How often should I clean the condenser?
The self-cleaning condenser requires minimal maintenance. However, check the condenser filter (if available) every 10 cycles and rinse if needed. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions.
What is the maximum load for cotton programs?
For cotton programs, the maximum load is 9 kg (full load). For synthetics, it is 4 kg. Overloading can affect drying performance and energy consumption.
Can I install a drain hose instead of using the water tank?
Yes, you can connect a drain hose (not supplied) to the dryer's rear outlet. This allows continuous drainage without emptying the tank. Ensure the hose is properly secured to avoid leaks.
What does the 'Anti-Crease' function do?
The Anti-Crease phase periodically tumbles the laundry for up to 120 minutes after the drying cycle ends to prevent wrinkles. You can disable this function if you plan to unload immediately.
How do I activate the Child Lock?
Press and hold the Child Lock button (usually marked with a key icon) for 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn on. To deactivate, press and hold again for 3 seconds.
Why is the drying time longer than expected?
Possible reasons: the load is too wet, the lint filter is clogged, the condenser needs cleaning, or the room temperature is too low. Also, synthetics and delicates require more drying time.
Can I dry wool items in this dryer?
Yes, use the dedicated Wool program. It is designed for machine-dryable wool items. Always check the garment label and avoid overloading (max 1 kg).
What is the recommended maintenance schedule?
After each cycle: clean the lint filter. Monthly: check the condenser filter (if applicable) and clean the heat exchanger with a brush. Yearly: have a professional inspection of the dryer.
Where can I find the user manual?
We provide the free manual in PDF format on our website. Visit notice-facile.com and search for EDH903BEWA. You can also download it directly from the support section of the Electrolux website.
