IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.
3 To protect against electrical shock do not immerse power cord, plugs, or main body in water or any other liquids. - Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

9 Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. - Do not place on or near a gas stove or electric burner, or heated oven.
- Do not move the appliance while operating
- Always attach the plug to the cooker first, and then insert the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn off the switch and remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
- If the supply cord is damaged, please return the appliance to the nearest authorized service centre for examination, repair or adjustment.

* This unit is for "household use" only. Preheating of the appliance is not necessary.
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
- Only use this product with the correct AC voltage outlet (Correct rated voltage are label at the bottom of rice cooker.)
- Please switch off the power when the rice cooker is not is use or no inner pot is placed in the rice cooker. Remember the "KEEP WARM" feature operates whenever the cord is plugged in.
- Place the inner pot inside the cooker before operating. Turn the pot gently to right and left.
4 If the switch button is difficult to press to the "COOK" position, do not force to press down. This difficulty usually occurs when inner pot is not inserted in cooker or when cooking has just finished.
5 Place the lid on the inner pot while cooking, keep the lid in place after serving to prevent your rice from drying out or discoloring. - Keep the bottom of the inner pot and surface of the heater and thermo-control plate dry and without any attachment before cooking.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Remove the inner pot. Wash the inner pot with hot soapy water, rinse completely, then dry with a soft cloth.
2 Clean outside of the rice cooker with a clean damp cloth. Never clean any part of the cooker with abrasive cleaner. Use a damp cloth or sponge with water and do not submerge any part of cooker in water. Wash only inner pot and lid. - To clean the heating plate and thermo-control plate, use damp cloth to clean or remove any residue. Then wipe with a damp cloth. Allow to dry completely before re-using. You must keep the heating plate and thermo-control plate free from any foreign objects, otherwise the cooker will not operate properly.
- Improper cleaning of cooker may cause unpleasant odors.
HOW TO USE
- Please use the measuring cup provided in the package, measure and add rice to the inner pot.

- Place the inner pot into the rice cooker. Add rice and water according to the table above. Tum the inner pot right and left until the inner pot is sitted nicely in the rice cooker.
- Connect the plug into the wall outlet. Do not plug in until it is ready to cook. Otherwise, rice may be spoiled. If pot is not in the "COOK", cooking will not begin.
- Press switch "COOK" indicator tells you cooking has started.
- When rice is done, the switch will pop up. After the switch pops up, leave covered for at least 15 minutes to steam rice.
- Unplug after each use. Grasp the plug, not the cord.
- When you stew, the water level should not more than 70% of the volume.
- Do not attach the ventilating hole for fear scaling.
