USER MANUAL L50HBSS12 Logik
The appliance is designed to process average domestic quantities of food; it may be operated without interruption for a maximum of 30 seconds, after which it should then be allowed to cool down for approximately 1 minute.

OPERATION
- The hand blender blends and mixes fast and easily. Use it to make sauces, soups, mayonnaise, purees, dietary and baby food, mixed drinks or cocktails.
- Should you want to blend directly in the saucepan while cooking, first take the pan away from the stove, to protect your hand blender from over heating.
- To avoid splashing, insert the hand blender into the vessel first, and then press the operation button.
- Press and hold the operation button for continuous blending.
• To turn off your hand blender, simply release the operation button.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always remove the mains plug from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the drive unit or the mains cable with water and do not immerse them in water. The drive unit may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or sharp/pointed objects for cleaning.
- The blade can be cleaned under hot, running water. Ensure that only the blender and blade units are cleaned this way. All other parts of the appliance must be kept well away from water. To remove persistent food residues, a suitable brush may also be used.

For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock, please follow all the safety precautions listed below.
- Read all the instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them for future reference.
- Retain the manual. If you pass the appliance onto a third party, make sure to include this manual.
- Check that the voltage marked on the rating label matches your mains voltage.
- Before using this appliance, the main body as well as any attachments fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects.
- This appliance can be used by persons aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years old and are supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

FIRST TIME USE
- Before the appliance is used for the first time, it must be thoroughly cleaned as described in the section Cleaning and Maintenance.
- Always use a suitable container for operation. A tall container with a wide flat base is best.
- Push the hand blender down into the ingredients in the bowl before briefly switching the appliance on with the operation button.
- Make sure that the appliance can rotate freely inside the bowl and is not blocked during operation.
- As soon as the operation button is released, the blender will switch off. Always wait until the motor has come to a complete stop before lifting the blender attachment from the mixture.
• Always remove the mains plug from the wall socket after use.
ASSEMBLING
- Plug the blender unit to the drive unit and turn it anti-clockwise to lock with the drive unit, to unlock, turn it clockwise.
- Connect to the mains socket.
