Information for these operating instructions
These operating instructions are a component of the Foot Bubble Bath SFB 120 B2 (henceforth designated as the appliance) and they provide you with important information about the intended use, safety and connection as well as operation of the appliance.
The operating instructions must be constantly kept available close to the appliance. They are to be read and applied by everyone assigned to operate, and eliminate faults in, the appliance.
Keep these operating instructions and hand them over with the appliance to any future owners.

Intended use
This foot bubble bath is intended for personal, home use. Its function is only to bathe and massage the feet. It is not suitable for any other purpose. It is not intended for use in the medical/ therapeutic or commercial fi elds.

Safety instructions

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
- Connect the appliance only to correctly installed and earthed mains power sockets. Ensure that the rating of the local power supply tallies completely with the details given on the rating plate of the appliance.
▶ Ensure that the power cable cannot become wet or damp while the appliance is in operation. Place it such that it cannot be crushed or damaged.
▶ Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
▶ Do not perform any repairs on the appliance. All repairs must be performed by our Customer Services or by qualified personnel.
▶ First disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket before filling it with water, changing accessories or cleaning it.
▶ Do not use the appliance in damp areas, such as in the bathroom.
▶ NEVER separate or connect the appliance from/to a power supply when your feet are in the water.
▶ Always separate the appliance from the power supply when fitting or removing accessory parts.
▶ To avoid risks, arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
▶ ALWAYS separate the appliance from the mains power supply when fitting or removing accessory parts.
▶ Use only the original accessory items for this appliance. Accessories from other manufacturers are possibly not suitable and this may lead to risks!
▶ Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to operate the appliance.
This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deficiencies in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
- Consult your doctor before using the foot bubble bath if you suffer from phlebitis, inflamed varicose veins, water retention, or rash on the legs.
▶ Take care if you are not sensitive to heat. You may not realise how hot the foot support plate can get.
▶ NEVER operate the appliance with blocked air-inlet openings. Take care that the air-inlet openings do not become blocked through dust, hair etc.
▶ If water leaks from the appliance, or other signs of damage are visible, discontinue using the appliance.
WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
▶ Do not stand in or on the foot bubble bath. Use it only while seated.
▶ Never operate the Foot Bubble Bath for longer than 20 minutes (KB-Time: 20 Min.). This appliance is not intended to be used continuously for long periods. Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before using it again.
▶ Do not use foam-forming bath additives. The appropriate bath additives for bubble baths are available from specialised dealers.
▶ Do not fall asleep whilst using the Foot Bubble Bath.
▶ Place the function switch to 0 before you connect or separate the appliance from the mains power socket.

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the carton.
2) Remove all packaging material.
3) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning".
NOTICE
▶ Check the contents to ensure everything is present and for signs of visible damage.
▶ If the delivery is not complete, or is damaged due to defective packaging or through transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
▶ If possible, preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appliance appropriately for its return.

COTime
The C.O. Time (Continuous Operation) details how long an appliance may be used without the motor overheating and being damaged. After the appliance has run for this period it must be switched off for about 15 minutes, until the motor has cooled itself down.

Functions of the Foot Bubble Bath
This Foot Bubble Bath has 4 functions available which can be used in various combinations :

- Bubbles: Air emerging from the air-jets ④ provides for the formation of air bubbles, which gently and pleasantly massage the feet.
-
- Heat: The foot pad heats itself and thus provides for a constant water temperature.
-
- Massage: The foot accessories with massage nubs create through vibration a pleasant massage effect.
-
- Infrared light: The infrared light ⑦ warms the feet, thus promoting blood circulation.
Operation
Setup
Place the Foot Bubble Bath on the floor in front of a chair. The surface must be fl at.
Place the function switch ① at 0 (OFF).
Fitting the attachment for the centre console
Select an attachment 10/11/12 for the centre console:
- Brush attachment ⑫: to stimulate the refl ex zones in the sole of the foot and for massage.
- Roller attachment ⑪: is used to massage and promotes blood circulation.
- Callous remover 10: for gentle removal of hard skin.
Place the respective attachment 10/11/12 in the insertion slot 6 of the centre console so that it is seated firmly. When you want to change it, simply pull the attachment 10/11/12 upwards.
NOTICE
▶ You can put two attachments 10/11/12 on the attachment holder 9 and hang them on the edge of the Foot Bubble Bath. Then the attachments 10/11/12 are always to hand.
Fill with water
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
▶ First connect the appliance to the power source when you have filled it with water.
WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
▶ Fill the appliance only with siffit water such that the "Max" marking is not exceeded when your feet are placed in it. It therefore needs less water than to the "Max" marking when it is being filled, because the water level rises when you put your feet into the appliance. Otherwise the water could overflow during the foot bath.
◆ Fill the appliance with warm or cold water.
INFORMATION
The purpose of the heating function is not to heat cold water. It should simply maintain the temperature of the water.
▶ You can also use special bath additives. However, please refrain from using foam-producing bath additives.
▶ You can also use Position®, infrared light massage without water!
Switching on
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
▶ Do nbinsert the plug into the mains power socket when your feet are already in the appliance.
◆ Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
Sit comfortably on a chair. But do not put your feet into the water yet!
Place the function switch ① to the desired combination:
- Position 0A: Appliance is switched off.
- PositionB: Infrared light+ Massage ≈
- Position: Heat + Bubble
- Position D Infrared light +Massage ≈+Bubble 🌐+Heat
Using the Foot Bubble bath
Now place your feet in the appliance.
During the foot bath you can, if you wish, alternately move the soles of your feet over the plugged-in attachment 10/11/12 or the infrared light 7.
In addition, during the footbath you can move your feet over the massage rollers ③.
NOTICE
▶ You can remove the massage rollers ③ of the appliance by carefully pulling them upwards from their retaining bracket. When refi tting them, ensure that the fixation is correctly installed on the sides of the massage rollers:

▶ Do not exceed the maximum operating period (KB- Time) of 20 minutes! The appliance could be irreparably damaged. Risk of overheating!
After the foot bath
Switch the appliance off at the function switch ① and remove the plug from the mains power socket.
◆ Carefully empty the water out through the water drain ⑧.
◆ After the foot bath apply skin care oil to your feet.
Then rest for a while.
Cleaning

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
▶ Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before you clean the appliance.
▶ UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you immerse the appliance in water or other liquids during cleaning!

WARNUNG - RISK OF INJURY!
Let the appliance cool sufficiently before cleaning it.
WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
▶ Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents. They could damage the surface.
◆ Wipe the appliance on the inside and outside with a damp cloth.
Take the massage rollers ③ out of the appliance. To do this, pull them gently upwards.
Clean the massage rollers ③, the attachments ⑩/⑪/⑫ and the attachment holder ⑨ in a mild soapy solution and rinse everything well.
Remove any residues of bath additives with a special plastics cleaner.
Allow the appliance to dry completely before reassembling it.
Storage
- Clean the appliance as described in the chapter "Cleaning".
- Wrap the power cable around the suction cup feet of the appliance and clamp the plug into the plug holder ⑤.
◆ Store the appliance at a clean and dry location.
Disposal of the appliance

Do not throw the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
Notes on the Declaration of Conformity
With regard to conformity with essential requirements and other relevant provisions, this appliance complies with the guidelines of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC as well as the Directive for Low Voltage appliances 2006/95/EC.

Warranty
You receive a 3-year warranty for this appliance as of the purchase date. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
The warranty is valid only for material or manufacturing faults, not for transport damage, parts subject to wear or damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty becomes void in the event of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal modifications not carried out by our authorised Service Centre.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs eff ected under warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.
Damages or defects discovered after purchase are to be reported directly after unpacking, at the latest two days after the purchase date.
Repairs carried out after lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.
