How do I set up the weather station?

Insert batteries into the base station and outdoor sensor. Place the sensor outdoors within 100m range. The base will automatically sync. Follow the manual for initial clock and unit settings.

Why is the outdoor temperature not displaying?

Check that the sensor has fresh batteries and is within range. Press the sensor’s reset button if needed. Ensure the base and sensor are on the same channel (usually 1).

How do I calibrate the barometric pressure?

Enter the settings menu (hold SET button). Adjust pressure value to your local weather station reading or sea-level pressure. Units can be changed between hPa and inHg.

Can I add more outdoor sensors?

Yes. Purchase additional Marquant-compatible sensors. Set them to a different channel (2 or 3). The base will detect them automatically.

How do I change the battery in the outdoor sensor?

Slide open the battery compartment on the back of the sensor. Remove old batteries and insert new AAA alkaline batteries. Close compartment and check connection.

What does the radio-controlled clock do?

The clock syncs automatically with the DCF-77 signal from Germany, ensuring accurate time and date. If signal is weak, you can set manually.

How to clean the weather station?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not use chemical cleaners or immerse in water. Clean the sensor housing periodically to prevent debris.

Why is the display showing dashes for indoor humidity?

Dashes indicate the sensor is malfunctioning or not connected. Try removing and reinserting the batteries in the base unit. If issue persists, contact support.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?

Yes, but alkaline batteries are recommended for longer life. Rechargeable batteries may have lower voltage, reducing performance. Ensure they are fully charged.

How do I reset the weather station to factory settings?

Remove all batteries from base and sensor. Press and hold the RESET button on the base for 5 seconds with a paperclip. Reinsert batteries and start setup again.

DESCRIPTION

Functions

• Display of highest and lowest measured indoor and outdoor temperatures.
  • Temperature display in °C or °F.
  • 12 or 24 hour display with manual setting of clock.

USE

Before using for the first time

• Open the battery compartment on the back of the receiver and insert the batteries with the correct polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover.
• Open the battery compartment on the back of the transmitter and insert the batteries with the correct polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover.
• When the batteries are inserted all the symbols on the display will go on for 3 seconds.
• The receiver searches for a connection to the transmitter. This takes about 3 minutes and a flashing icon for the RF antenna is shown in the receiver display outdoor field.

Manual setting of clock

• Press the button (3) for about 3 seconds to confirm. The display field for 12/24 hour display flashes. Press the button (2) to set 12/24 display.
• Press the button (3) again to confirm. The display field for hours flashes. Press the button (2) to set the right hour.
• Press the button (3) again to confirm. The display field for minutes flashes. Press the button (2) to set the right minutes.
• Press the button (3) again to confirm and finish, and to switch to clock mode.

• After 30 seconds without pressing a button the clock switches automatically from setting mode to normal mode.

- Select the temperature display in ^ or ^ by tapping the button (3).

- Switch between display of current temperature and highest/lowest since last reset for indoor and outdoor temperature by pressing the button (2).

• Press once to show the highest measured indoor and outdoor temperature.
• Press twice to show the lowest measured indoor and outdoor temperature.
• Press three times to go back and show the actual temperatures.

- Press the button (3) for about 3 seconds to reset the highest and lowest temperature.

Switching between displaying the indoor and outdoor temperature

- Tap the button (1) to switch between showing the indoor and outdoor temperature on the display.
