The camera accepts SD and SDHC cards up to 32 GB. It also has an internal memory of approximately 43 MB.
How do I charge the battery of the SANYO VPC-TH1GX?
Insert the Li-ion battery DB-L50 into the camera, then plug the supplied AC adapter into the DC IN terminal. Charging takes approximately 200 minutes. The red multi-indicator light turns off when charging is complete.
Can I record a video while taking a photo?
Yes, you can capture a photo (reduced size) during video recording by pressing the [ ] (shutter) button. The flash does not work in this mode.

The icon indicates high temperature of the battery or camera. Stop using the camera as soon as possible and let it cool down. If it blinks, the camera will turn off automatically until it cools down.

Preparing the camera

1 Insert the SD Memory Card.

  • An SD Memory Card is not included with your camera. Please purchase a commercially sold card.
  • In this manual, the SD Memory Card is referred to as the "card".

Shooting

Press the ON/OFF button for at least 1 second to turn the camera on.

- If the screen to set the date and time appears, press the MENU button 2 times to cancel it. For how to set the date and time, see page 33.

Record.

To record a video clip:

- Press the [ ] button to begin recording a video clip. - Press the [ ] button again to end the recording.

To take a photo:

- Press the [icon] button. - A still image is captured.

1 Press the REC/PLAY button.

- The display changes to the Playback Screen.

2 Select the image to play back.

  • Toggle the SET button left, right, up or down to move the orange frame to the image you wish to play back.
  • The image information for the framed image is shown at the bottom of the screen.
