Frequently Asked Questions - L20DH16 Logik

How do I turn on the dehumidifier?
Connect to mains, then press the Power button. The unit will start. Press MODE to select drying or dehumidifying mode.
What do the different modes do?
Drying mode runs continuously regardless of humidity, only high fan speed. Dehumidifying mode lets you set a target humidity (40%/50%/60%/70%/CO) and both fan speeds are available.
Why is the WATER FULL indicator lit?
The water tank is full. Turn off the unit, remove the tank, empty it, and refit it. The unit will resume operation when turned on again.
How do I set the auto-off timer?
Press the TIMER button repeatedly to select 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The unit will turn off automatically after the selected time.
What does the DEFROST indicator mean?
The unit has an auto-defrost function. When frost builds up inside, it activates defrost mode and the indicator lights up. This is normal.
How often should I clean the air filter?
Clean the filter every 2 weeks. In dusty environments, clean more often. Use a vacuum or wash with warm water (no soap). Ensure it is dry before refitting.
Can I use continuous drainage?
Yes. Insert the supplied water hose into the drain outlet. Place the other end lower than the outlet into a suitable drain. When not in use, remove the hose.
Why does the unit make excessive noise?
Ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface. Also clean the air filter. If noise persists, check for obstructions.
Is the unit safe to leave unattended?
Yes, but follow safety instructions: keep 30cm clearance, do not block vents, and unplug if not used for long periods. The unit has a child lock function.
What should I do if the unit tips over?
Immediately disconnect from the mains. Do not operate until it is repositioned on a stable surface and checked for damage.

- Clean the air filter with a vacuum cleaner. If the air filter is very dirty, you can wash it in warm water (never use hot or soapy water). Make sure that the air filter is refitted correctly to the unit. Do not bend the filter and ensure it is fitted before operating the unit.

Cleaning the unit

  • Clean the unit by using a damp sponge, and dry it with a clean, soft cloth.
