How do I turn on the Kalorik KA CLD 1 heater?

Connect the heater to a power outlet and turn the knob to the desired fan speed (Low or High). The heater will start immediately.

No, the heater is not designed for use in damp or wet areas. Use only in dry indoor locations.

What does the thermostat do?

The thermostat allows you to set your desired room temperature. Once the room reaches that temperature, the heater will cycle off and on to maintain it.

How do I clean the heater?

Unplug the heater and let it cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any liquids or solvents directly on the unit.

Why does the heater keep turning off?

This may be due to the thermostat reaching the set temperature or the overheat protection activating. Ensure the heater has adequate clearance and is not obstructed.

Can I leave the heater unattended?

It is recommended not to leave the heater unattended for long periods. Always turn it off when leaving the room.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

☐ Check that your main voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
☐ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage but have it checked and repaired by a competent qualified service ^(1) . Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified service ^(2) .
☐ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
☐ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. When cleaning the appliance, refer to the instructions in the paragraph "Cleaning and care".

Before cleaning and when you do not use the appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply. Do not attempt to remove the plug from the wall socket with wet hands.

POSITIONING AND ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

Put your appliance at least 1.5 m from water or any source of fire.

Insert the 3 feet into the corresponding holes and position the appliance on a stable surface.

Fit the waterproof plate onto the motor unit, then fix it with the lower tube. Secure these 2 parts to the motor unit by screwing the lower tube clockwise.

First fit the connector onto the upper tube and screw it clockwise. Then fix the upper tube onto the lower tube by screwing it clockwise.

Put clothes onto the clothes racks, put on the cover and close with the zips.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Insert the power plug into an earthed socket.
• Open the cover and put the clothes you wish to dry on the racks.
• Close the cover with the zips.
• For continuous running, rotate the switch to ON position. The pilot light will turn on indicating that the appliance is working.
• To switch off the appliance, turn the switch to OFF position.
• To set the timer (up to 180 minutes) turn the knob clockwise.
• If you want to select time for less than 30 minutes, turn the timer to the maximum setting and then return to the correct time.
  • The appliance will automatically switch off at the end of the set time.
• Unplug the appliance after use.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the motor unit with water and do not immerse it. Just wipe it with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
• Clean the other parts of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  • The cover can be washed by hand in soapy water.
