Frequently Asked Questions - HMC-3B500BK Heinner

How do I assemble the grinder?
Start by inserting the spiral rod into the housing, then place the cutting disc over it, followed by the blade (with sharp side facing out), and finally screw the ring nut tight. Attach the tray and pusher.
What should I do if the motor stops during use?
The device has overload protection. Unplug it and let it cool down for 15 minutes. Reduce the quantity of meat being processed and try again.
Can I grind bones or hard vegetables?
No, this mincer is designed for boneless meat and soft vegetables. Grinding bones or hard items may damage the blade and motor.
How do I clean the mincer?
Disassemble all removable parts and wash them in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher (top rack). Wipe the motor housing with a damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly before storage.
Is the cutting blade reversible?
No, the blade has a fixed orientation. Ensure it is installed with the sharp side facing outward towards the cutting disc.
What does the reverse function do?
The reverse function rotates the spiral rod backward to clear any blockages. Press and hold the reverse button until the jam is resolved, then release.
How do I make sausages?
Attach the sausage stuffer tube instead of the cutting disc. Slide the casing onto the tube and push meat through using the pusher.
Why is the mincer not starting?
Check that the power cord is plugged in and the safety lock is properly engaged. Ensure the tray is correctly placed. If still not working, wait for overload protection to reset.
Can I grind frozen meat?
It is not recommended. Thaw meat completely and cut into cubes before grinding to avoid damaging the motor.
Where can I find spare parts?
Spare parts such as blades and discs can be ordered through the Heinner website or authorized service centers. Use only genuine Heinner parts.
