How do I pair my Bluetooth device with the iLive ISB1400 speakers?

- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding - type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

Battery Warnings

  • WARNING: There is a danger of explosion if you attempt to charge standard Alkaline batteries in the unit. Only use rechargeable NiMH batteries.

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.

  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.

Connect Your Speakers

Power On Your Speaker

Connecting to a Bluetooth Speaker

- When the speakers first power ON they default to Bluetooth Mode and are ready to pair automatically. When pairing, remain within 3 feet of the Bluetooth device. - Using the controls on your Bluetooth device, select ISB1400 in the Bluetooth Settings to pair. If need be, refer to the user's manual for your specific device for more information. - When successfully paired, a voice will announce, "Bluetooth is connected." You will now hear audio from your Bluetooth device through the speakers. - Use the controls on the connected Bluetooth device to select and play audio.

Connecting to External Audio Sources

RCA Connection

- You can connect the speakers to an audio system using an RCA stereo audio cable (included).
