How do I install the IVBID10X dishwasher?

Use a descaling agent or run an empty cycle with vinegar. Pour 250ml of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher and run a Normal cycle at high temperature. Repeat if needed.

Recycling

Safety Information

When you take delivery of your machine

• Check for any damage to your machine or to its packaging. Never start a machine damaged in any way, make sure to contact an authorised service.
• Unwrap the packaging materials as indicated and dispose of them in accordance with the rules.

The points to pay attention during machine installation

• Choose a suitable, safe and level place to install your machine.
• Carry out the installation and connection of your machine by following the instructions.
• This machine should be installed and repaired by an authorised service only.
• Only original spare parts should be used with the machine.

• Before installing, be sure that the machine is unplugged.

• Check whether the indoor electrical fuse system is connected according to the regulations.

• All electrical connections must match the values indicated on the rating plate.
• Pay special attention and be sure that the machine does not stand on the electricity supply cable.
• Never use an extension cord or a multiple socket for making a connection. The plug should be comfortably accessible after the machine has been installed.
  • After installing the machine to a suitable place, run it unloaded for the first time.

In daily use

- This machine is for household use; do not use it for any other purpose. Commercial usage of the dishwasher will void the guarantee.

- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

- Farm houses;

- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

- Bed and Breakfast type environments.

- Do not get up, sit or place a load on the open door of the dishwasher, it may fall over.

- Never put into the detergent and rinse aid dispensers of your machine anything other than those detergents and rinse aids which are produced specifically for dishwashers. Our company will not be responsible for any damage that might occur in your machine otherwise.

- The water in the machine's washing section is no drinking water do not drink it.

WARNING: Some dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline.

They can be extremely dangerous if swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes and keep children away from the dishwasher when the door is open. Check that the detergent receptacle is empty after completion of the wash cycle.

• Due to danger of explosion, do not put into the machine’s washing section any chemical dissolving agents such as solvents.
• Check whether plastic items are heat-resistant before washing them in the machine.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not put into your machine those items which are not suitable for dishwashing. Also, do not fill any basket above its capacity. Our company will not be responsible for any scratch or rust to form on the inner frame of your machine due to basket movements otherwise.
• Especially because hot water may flow out, the machine door should not be opened under any circumstances while the machine is in operation. In any case, a safety devices ensures that the machine stops if the door is opened.
• Do not leave the dishwasher's door in the open position since this could present a tripping hazard.

WARNING: Knives and other utensils with sharp points must be loaded in the basket with their points down or placed in a horizontal position.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• If EnergySave option is selected as "Yes", The door will be opened at the end of the program. Do not force to close the door to avoid harm auto door mechanism during 1 minutes. The door must be open during 30 minutes to get effective drying.(in models with auto door opening system)
  Warning: Do not stand in front of the door after the signal sounds belonging auto-open.

For your children's safety

• After removing the machine’s packaging, make sure that the packaging material is out of reach of children.
• Do not allow children to play with or start the machine.
• Keep your children away from detergents and rinse aids.
• Keep children away from the machine while it is open because there may still be residues of cleaning substances inside the machine.
• Be sure that your old machine does not pose any threat to your children. Children are known to have gotten themselves locked in old machines. To forestall such a situation, break your machine's door lock and tear off the electrical cables.

In case of malfunctioning

• Any malfunction in the machine should be repaired definitely by qualified persons. Any repair work performed by anyone other than the authorised service personnel will cause your machine to be left outside the scope of warranty.
• Prior to any repair work on the machine, be sure that the machine is cut off from the mains.Switch off the fuse or unplug the machine.Do not pull by the cable when unplugging. Make sure to turn off the water tap.

Recommendations

• For energy and water saving, remove coarse residues on your dishes before placing the dishes into the machine. Start your machine after having fully loaded it.
• Use the pre-wash programme only whenever necessary.
• Place such hollow items as bowls, glasses and pots into the machine in such a way that they will face down.
• You are recommended not to load into your machine any dishes different or more than indicated.

Items not suitable for dishwashing:

• Cigarette ashes, candle leftovers, polish, paint, chemical substances, iron-alloy materials;
• Forks, spoons and knives with wooden or bone, or ivory or nacre-coated handles; glued items, items soiled with abrasive, acidic or base chemicals.
• Plastic items that are not heat-resistant, copper or tin-coated containers.
• Aluminium and silver objects (they may discolour, become dull).
• Certain delicate glass types, porcelains with ornamental printed patterns as they fade even after the first wash; certain crystal items as they lose their transparency over time, adhered cutlery that is not heat-resistant, lead crystal glasses, cutting boards, items manufactured with synthetic fibre;
• Absorbent items as sponges or kitchen rags are not suitable for dishwashing.

Warning: Take care to buy dishwasher-proof sets in your future purchases.

INSTALLING THE MACHINE

Positioning the machine

When determining the place to put your machine on, take care to choose a place where you can easily load and unload your dishes.

Do not put your machine in any location where there is the probability for the room temperature to fall below 0^ C.

Before positioning, take the machine out of its packaging by following the warnings located on the package.

Position the machine close to a water tap or drain. You need to site your machine, taking into consideration that its connections will not be altered once they are made.

Do not grip the machine by its door or panel in order to move it.

Take care to leave a certain clearance from all sides of the machine so that you can comfortably move it back and forth during cleaning.

Make sure that the water inlet and outlet hoses do not get squeezed while positioning the machine. Also, make sure that the machine does not stand on the electrical cable.

Adjust the machine's adjustable feet so that it can stand level and balanced. Proper positioning of the machine ensures problem-free opening and closing of its door.

If the door of you machine does not close properly, check if the machine is stable on the floor it stands; if not, adjust the adjustable feet and ensure its stable position.

Water connection

Be sure that the indoor plumbing is suitable for installing a dishwasher. Also, we recommend that you fit a filter at the entrance of your place or apartment so as to avoid any damage to your machine because of any contamination (sand, clay, rust etc.) that might be occasionally carried in through the mains water supply or the indoor plumbing, and to forestall such complaints as yellowing and formation of deposits after washing.

Water inlet hose

Do not use the water inlet hose of your old machine, if any. Use the new water inlet hose supplied with your machine instead. If you are going to connect a new or long - unused water inlet hose to your machine , run water through it for a while before making the connection. Connect the water inlet hose directly to the water inlet tap. The pressure supplied by the tap should be at a minimum of 0.03 Mpa and and at a maximum of 1 Mpa. If the water pressure is above 1 Mpa, a pressure-relief valve should be fitted inbetween.

After the connections are made, the tap should be turned on fully and checked for water tightness. For the safety of your machine, make sure to always turn off the water inlet tap after each wash programme is finished.

NOTE: Aquastop water spout is used in some models. In case of using Aquastop, a dangerous tension exists. Do not cut Aquastop water spout. Do not let it get folded or twisted.

Water outlet hose

The water drain hose can be connected either directly to the water drain hole or to the sink outlet spigot. Using a special bent pipe (if available), the water can be drained directly into the sink via hooking the bent pipe over the edge of the sink. This connection should be at a minimum of 50 cm and at a maximum of 110 cm from the floor plane.

Warning: When a drain hose longer than 4 m is used, the dishes might remain dirty. In that case, our company will not accept responsibility.

Electrical connection

The earthed plug of your machine should be connected to an earthed outlet supplied by suitable voltage and current. If there is no earthing installation, have a competent electrician carry out an earthing installation. In case of usage without earthing installed, our company will not be responsible for any loss of usage that might occur.

The indoor fuse current value should be 10-16 A.

Your machine is set according to 220-240 V. If the mains voltage in your location is 110 V, connect a transformer of 110/220 V and 3000 W in between. The machine should not be plugged in during positioning.

Always use the coated plug supplied with your machine.

Running in low voltage will cause a decline in washing quality.

The machine's electrical cable should be replaced by an authorised service or an authorised electrician only. Failure to do so may lead to accidents.

For safety purposes, always make sure to disconnect the plug when a wash programme is finished.

In order not to cause an electric shock, do not unplug when your hands are wet.

When disconnecting your machine from the mains supply, always pull from the plug. Never pull the cord itself.

Fitting the machine undercounter

Open the door of the machine and remove two screws fixing plastic kick plate as it is shown in the picture.

7 Option I: To put the kickplate.

Mount the plastic kick plate to the basement.

PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR USE

Prior to using the machine for the first time

• Check whether the electricity and supply water specifications match the values indicated by the installation instructions for the machine.
• Remove all packaging materials inside the machine.
• Fill the rinse aid compartment.

Detergent usage

Use a detergent specifically designed for use in domestic dishwashers.

You can find powder, gel, and tablet detergents in the market that have been designed for household dishwashers.

Detergent should be put into the compartment prior to starting the machine. Keep your detergents in cool, dry places out of reach of your children.

Do not fill detergent into the detergent compartment more than required; otherwise it may cause scratches on your glasses as well as lead to a poorly dissolved detergent.

Filling the detergent compartment

Push the latch to open the detergent container as shown in the image. 1 Detergent pod has level lines inside. It is possible to

measure the right detergent amount using these lines. Detergent pod can take totally 40 cm ^3 detergent.

Open the dishwasher detergent and pour into

the larger compartment b 25 cm ^3 if your dishes are heavily soiled or 15 cm ^3 if they are less soiled. If your dishes have been kept dirty for a very long time, if there are dried food wastes on them, and if you have overly

loaded the dishwasher, pour a 5 cm³ detergent into the pre-wash compartment and start your machine.

You may have to add more detergent into your machine, depending on the degree of soil and on the water hardness level in your area.

Combined detergent

Detergent manufacturers also produce combined detergents called "2 in 1", "3 in 1" or "5 in 1" etc.

"2 in 1" detergents contain detergent + or rinse aid. When using "2 in 1" detergents make sure to check the specifications of the tablet.

Other tablet detergents contain detergent + rinse aid + various extra functions.

Generally, combined detergents produce sufficient results under certain usage conditions only. Such detergents contain rinse aid and/or in preset amounts

Points to consider when using this type of products:

- Always make sure to check the specifications of the product you will use or whether or not it is a combined product.

- Check if the detergent used is appropriate for the hardness of mains water that machine is appertaining to.

- Observe the instructions on packagings when using such products.

- If such detergents are in the form of tablets, never put them into the interior section or the cutlery basket of the dishwasher. Always put the tablets into the detergent compartment in the detergent dispenser.

- They produce good results for certain types of usage only. If you are using this type of detergents, you need to contact the manufacturers and find out about the suitable conditions of use.

- When the conditions of use of such products and the machine settings are appropriate, they ensure savings in rinse aid consumption.

- Contact the detergent manufacturers if you are not obtaining good wash results (if your dishes stay calcareous and wet) after having used 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 detergents. The scope of warranty for your machine does not cover any complaints caused by the use of these types of detergents.

Recommended usage: If you want to obtain better results while u sing combined detergents, add rinse aid into your machine and adjust the rinse aid setting to the lowest position.

Solubility of the tablet detergents produced by different companies can vary depending on the temperature and time. Therefore, it is not recommended to use such detergents in short programs. It is more suitable to use powder detergents in such items.

Warning: Should any problem, which you have not encountered before, arise with the use of this type of detergents, contact the detergent manufacturers directly.

When you give up using combined detergents

- Fill the rinse aid compartment.

- Make the suitable rinse aid setting.

4.11. Filling the rinse-aid and setting

To fill the rinse aid compartment, open the rinse-aid compartment cap. Fill the compartment with rinse aid to the MAX level and then close the cap. Be careful not to overfill the rinse aid compartment and wipe up any spills.

In order to change the rinse aid level, follow the below steps before turning on the machine:

• Enter the "Settings Menu" and select "3. Rinse-aid: X"
  • 3. Rinse-aid: X
  • The machine will display the last setting.
• Push the confirmation button and set the level by using up/down buttons.
• Push the confirmation button to save setting.
• Stored Exit the menu.

The factory setting is "4".

If the dishes are not drying properly or are spotted, increase the level. If blue stains form on your dishes, decrease the level.

LOADING YOUR DISHWASHER

If you properly place your dishes into the machine, you will be using it in the best way in terms of energy consumption, washing and drying performance.

There are two separate baskets for you to load your dishes into your machine. You can load into the lower basket such round and deep items as pots with long handles, pot lids, plates, salad plates, cutlery sets.

The upper basket has been designed for tea plates, dessert plates, salad bowls, cups and glasses. When placing long-stem glasses and goblets, lean them against the basket edge, rack or glass supporter wire and not against other items. Do not lean long glasses against one another or they cannot remain steady and may receive damage.

It is more appropriate to locate the thin narrow parts into the middle sections of baskets.

You can place spoons among the other cutlery sets in order to prevent them from sticking to one another. You are recommended to use the cutlery grid in order to obtain the best result. To avoid any possible injuries, always place such long-handle and sharp-pointed dishes as serving fork, bread knife etc. with their sharp points facing down or horizontally on the baskets.

Warning: Place your dishes into your machine in a way that they will not prevent the upper and lower spray arms from spinning.

SOFT TOUCH

Top basket

Height Adjustable Rack

These racks are designed to increase the capacity of the top basket. You can place your glasses and cups on the racks. You can adjust the height of these racks. Thanks to this feature, you can place different sizes of glasses under these racks.

Thanks to height adjustment plastics mounted on the basket, you can use your racks in 2 different heights. In addition, you can place long forks, knives and spoons on these racks laterally, so that they do not block the revolution of propeller.

The soft touch feature on the racks serves to place the fine stemmed glass.

The wineglass is placed in the area shown at the picture.

Top basket height adjustment while it is full

Basket height adjustment mechanism on the top basket of your machine is designed to let you adjust the height of your top basket upwards or downwards, without removing it from your machine when it is full, and create large spaces at the top or bottom area of your machine as needed. Basket of your machine is set to upper position in factory settings.

In order to raise your basket, hold it from both sides and pull it upwards. In order to lower it, hold it from both sides again, and leave it.

In loaded basket adjustment mechanism, make sure that both sides are in the same position (up or down).

Lower Basket

Folding Racks

Folding racks consisting of four parts that are located on the lower basket of your machine are designed in order to let you place big items easier such as pots, pans, etc. If requested, each part can be folded separately, or all of them can be folded and larger spaces can be obtained. You can use folding racks by raising them upwards, or by folding.

Bottle Rack

Bottle rack is designed to let you wash items with large openings and higher items easier. You can pull out bottle rack in the direction of the arrow as shown on the picture when you do not use it.

Upper Cutlery Basket

The upper cutlery basket is designed for you to place forks, spoons and knives, long dippers and small items.

Because it can easily be taken out of the machine, it allows your dishes to be taken out of the machine along with the basket after washing.

The Upper Cutlery Basket is composed of two pieces; if you need to make space for the dishes in the upper basket, you can take out the left or right part of the upper cutlery basket in order to obtain more space.

Multi-functional Rack System

Multi-functional rack system is located in the bottom basket of your machine. You can easily wash spare glasses or dishes like long ladles, bread knife with the help of this accesory.

Please fold the racks by putting them from a position to b position, in order to put the racks in the multi-functional rack system into the closed position. Please make sure that claws on the rack are fit on the cord c. You can put the rack into the open position by following the steps in a reverse manner.

Your racks in the multi-purpose rack system has two positions: low position d and upper position e. This way you can attain larger space at the bottom part of your machine. Please put your racks into e position from d position to e , in order to put your racks to the upper position. Please fix the racks to their places f on the cord. Please make sure that the prop does not contact the dishes you put on the racks.

Dual Wash: The delicate dishes on the upper basket are washed at a lower pressure and the heavily soiled dishes on the lower basket are washed at a higher pressure by the help of a variable-speed engine. Therefore, you can wash both delicate/less soiled dishes and heavily soiled dishes at the same time.
*NOTE:**Economic 50° C program is recommended for a normally soiled load at a capacity of 15 place settings in accordance with AS/NZS 2007, with the door open slightly 100mm to assist in drying of the dishes after everywash.
Jetwash 14 min programme can be used for not kept for long, less dirty dishes. It is suitable for dishes of four persons.

BUTTONS

Power On/Off Button 1

When you press the on/off button, the machine is energized and the display shows the last used program; in the off position, the LCD on the display are off.

Door Handle 2

Please use the door handle to open-close the door of your machine.

Confirmation Button 3

Confirms (saves) your additional functions and settings.

Option Button 4

Allows you to use the functions in the additional functions menu.(9-10-11-12-13-14)

Delay Button 5

Delays the starting time of the program you have selected (1-24 hours).

You may see the delay time in the Remaining Time/Delay Time Indicator (19).

When the delay button is pressed, Delay Indicator (18) is seen on the display.

Start/PauseButton 6

When you press the Start/Standby Button, the selected program starts and washing symbol (a) appears on the display.

Additional Functions

Extra Hygiene function 9

You may select this function in order to obtain extra hygiene and a cleaner washing process by altering the water temperature and washing time of the program you have selected.

Tablet Detergent function 10

Please use the Tablet Detergent function while using rinse agent and combined deterjents with extra properties.

Half Load Function 11

Using the Half load function, three sorts of washing up can be done those being lower basket, upper basket and both baskets.

If you have little amount of dishes in your machine and if you have to wash them, you can also activate the semi-filling function for some programs.

If you have dishes in both baskets, select the half load function and select the position in which both images are highlighted.

If you have dishes only in the upper basket, select the position in which the upper image is illuminated.

Thus, washing up shall be done only on the upper basket of your machine.

If you have dishes only in the lower basket select the position in which the lower image is illuminated. Thus, washing up shall be done only on the lower basket of your machine. In using this feature, make sure that there are no dishes in the upper basket.

Extra Fast Function

Washes the dishes with more pressure, thus shortens the time of the selected program and provides economical water usage.

Extra Silent Function

Washes the dishes with less pressure, thus provides more sensitive and silent washing.

Extra Drying function

With extra drying function, you may add extra drying steps to your program and thus obtain drier dishes.

In order to understand whether the rinse agent in your machine is sufficient or not, please check the rinse agent level warning display. If this display is illuminated, fill the rinse agent section.

Selection of Program and Starting of the Machine

1- Press Power On/Off switch.

Note: Select your washing program appropriate for your dishes by the help of the program items page in the user guide.

2- You may select the washing program by using up/down (7,8) selection buttons.

Note: You may follow the program time in the time indicator. (19)

3- If necessary, you may select additional functions by using option button (4). (9-10-11-12-13-14)

4- You may start the programme by pressing the Start/Pause button. "Program Activated" will appear on the display and the selected program will start.

When the program starts, you may see the name of the selected program in the Display information line (21), remaining washing time in the remaining time indicator (19) and the program number of the selected program in the program number indicator (20).

Note: Try not to open the door of the machine while it is operating; if you absolutely need to, stop the programme by pressing Start/Pause button.

"Program Paused" will appear on the display. Once you see this text, you may open the door. Steam might come out when you open the door – be careful. You may resume the programme after closing the door and pressing the Start/Pause button again. When you press the Start/Pause button, "Program Activated" will appear on the display.

Program Follow-up

You can follow the progress by the help of the program follow-up symbols on the display.(22 - a,b,c,d).

As the washing proceeds, respectively Washing and Drying symbols will be illuminated. When the drying symbol is on, the machine remains silent for about 40-50 minutes.

Do not open the door before the completion indicator light is on. When the programme ends, Completion indicator light is illuminated.

When the program you have selected starts, you may see the estimated remaining time in the time indicator.

NOTE: A few minutes after the program finishes and the Completion lamp is illuminated, you may open the door slightly and leave it ajar in order for the drying process to be faster.

NOTE: If the machine door is opened or a power failure occurs during washing, the machine will proceed from where it stopped after the door is closed or power is restored.

NOTE: If a power cut occurs or if the door is opened during drying, the programme ends. The machine will be ready for selecting a new programme.

NOTE: The total time of the programme depends on the room temperature, mains water temperature and amount of dishes.

Adding Additional Functions to the Program

You may change the program according to your preferences by adding additional functions to the washing program. The washing programs have been designed so as to obtain the best cleaning considering the type of smear, amount of smear and properties of the washing materials. The additional functions were developed in order to save time, water and electricity and thus allow you to wash your dishes more conveniently. For example, if you think your dishes are slightly dirty, you may select the Fast function (12) and make your washing process more economical in terms of time and water.

If you are going to use a multipurpose detergent, you obtain better performance by selecting tablet detergent (10) function.

If you live in a place where electricity is cheaper to use at night, you might select the silent function (13) and wash your dishes more economically and silently; this function was developed also for a more sensitive washing process.

Additional functions are not suitable for every program; you might find below the functions suitable for the programs. For the programs not suitable for functions, you will see that the function indicator is not illuminated.

In order to add additional functions to the program;

1-Select the appropriate washing program for your dishes using the up/down buttons (7,8) after pressing the option button.
2- Enter the additional functions menu (4) by pressing the option button. After selecting the additional function using up/down buttons (7,8), illuminate the additional function indicators (9-10-11-12-13-14) by pressing the confirmation button.
3- You may start the programme by pressing the Start/Standby button.
"Programme activated" will appear on the display.

Changing the Program

If you want to change a washing programme after it has been started;

1- Pause the programme by pressing the Start/Pause (6) button. "Programme paused" will appear on the display.
2- Select the desired programme by pressing the selection buttons (7,8).
3- You may start the programme by pressing the Start/Pause button again.
"Programme activated" will appear on the display.

Note: The new program starts from the step where the previous program was left.

NOTE: If you want the new program to start from the beginning, you must first cancel the previous program and then select a new one.

Cancelling the Program

1- Hold the Start/pause button (6) for 3 seconds to cancel a program.
2- The display will show an expression ("Program Cancelling ..X") to let you know how many more seconds you have to hold the button. 1 minute after you do this,
"Program Finished" will appear.
3- After this warning, you may select and additional function or time setting.
NOTE: Depending on the step where the cancelled program was left, there may be detergent leftovers within the machine or on the dishes.

Settings Menu

In order to enter the Settings Menu, hold the option and delay buttons for 3 seconds. The display will show an expression ("Keep Pressing ..X") to let you know how many more seconds you have to hold the button. When this number is zero, you will see the Menu settings on the display. You may navigate within the menu by using the selection buttons. In order to exit the menu, you may hold the option and delay buttons for 3 seconds like you did when entering the menu or you may select the seventh row in the menu with the confirmation button.

1- Language settings

After you enter the menu settings, use up/down selection buttons to select the language. You will see an expression (1.Language: X) in which "X" is the current language. After that, press the confirmation button to activate the language selection and after selecting the new language, save it by pressing the confirmation button again.

2- Water hardness setting

You may find this in the section where water softening setting is explained. (page 15)

3- Volume level

You may adjust the level of your machine's audible alarms here. After entering the menu, select the "3-Volume" by using the selection buttons. Here you will see "Volume:X" (X:L1,L2,L3). L1 is the lowest, L3 is the highest volume level. After pressing the confirmation button, activate "X", select the desired noise level and save the selection by pressing the confirmation button once more.

4- Brightness level

You may adjust the level of your machine's display brightness here After entering the menu, select the "4-Brightness" by using the selection buttons. Here you will see "brightness :X" (X:L1,L2,L3). L1 is the lowest, L3 is the highest brightness level. Select the desired brightness level and save the selection by pressing the confirmation button. After pressing the confirmation button, activate "X" and confirmation button once more.

5- Eco mode

This mode saves energy by minimizing the display brightness level after 30 seconds of non-operation. After entering the menu, select the "5-Eco mode" by using the selection buttons. Here you will see "Ecomode:X" (X:YES or NO). After pressing the confirmation button, activate "X"; you might use your machine with Eco mode on or off.

6- Factory Settings

In order to discard all the settings you made and restore the factory settings, select the "6- Factory settings" by using the selection buttons. Here you will see "6.Factory settings:X" (X:yes or no). After pressing the confirmation button, activate "X"; you might save your selection by selecting "Yes" or "No" expression and pressing the confirmation button again.When you restore the factory settings, the machine will return to the following settings:

1- Language : English
2- Water hardness setting : L1
3- Volume : L2
4- Brightness : L2
5 -Eco Mode : Yes

Child Lock

You might prevent others from modifying your settings while the machine is in operation. After starting the programme, press the up selection button (7) and down selection button (8) at the same time for 3 seconds. This screen will inform you as to how many seconds you need to hold the buttons by "Keep Pressing..X". When this time is over, the child lock is activated, "Child Lock ON" appears on the screen and the indicator (17 8) is illuminated. When the child lock is active, all the buttons are deactivated.

In order to cancel the child lock, press the up selection button (7) and down selection button (6) at the same time for 3 seconds. This screen will inform you as to how many seconds you need to hold the buttons by "Keep Pressing..X". When this time is over, the child lock is cancelled, "Child Lock OFF" appears on the screen and the indicator(17 ^8 ) is off

Delayed Start:(Snooze)

You may delay the starting time of the selected programme up to 24 hours. You can not make a delay setting after the programme starts. In order for you to be able to make a delay setting, the selected programme needs not to be in operation.

1- Press the delay button (5)
2- Hour "00:00" is displayed on the display information line (19) and the delay symbol (18) starts flashing.
3- You may set the delay time with the selection buttons (7,8) to the desired time. The “” button (7) increases the time by 1 hour while “v” button (8) decreases by 1 hour.
By pressing the Start/Pause button, you may start the countdown until the delay time. The delay symbol (18) will continuously be illuminated during this period. Remaining Time/Delay Time (19) indicators display the delay time. After the countdown is over, the selected programme will start. The indicator screen will begin to show the time remaining until the end of the selected programme.

Changing the programme or function on delay

Pause the machine by pressing the Start/Pause button; the countdown will stop and the "program paused" and "Delay timer active" appear on screen. If you press the buttons without pausing the machine, you will receive warnings such as "Delay timer active" or "invalid".

After pausing the snooze, you may select programmes and add functions to the programme like it was told in the relevant topics.

By pressing the Start/Pause button once more, start the countdown until the delay time.

If you want to cancel or make a new time setting when the machine is on snooze

If you want to reschedule the delay time, stop the countdown by pressing the start/standby button. Press the delay button to enter the delay menu; set the new Delay time by pressing the selection buttons. Start the countdown by pressing the Start/Standby button.

If you want to cancel the delay setting

Hold the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds.

The display will inform you how many seconds you need to hold the button by

"Program Cancelling .. X". This way, the delay countdown is cancelled.

Warning Messages

Your machine provides feedbacks while in operation

Turn on the Tap

When above warning is seen;

1- Make sure that the water is not cut off
2- Make sure that the hydrant is open
3- If both are true, call the qualified technician.
Whenever an error which you cannot fix occurs, above warning will be displayed.
When you see it, call the qualified technician.

Call Service

When your machine gives the above warnings, the error codes are specified after the definition.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Cleaning the machine in regular intervals prolongs the machine's service life.

Oil and lime may accumulate in the machine's washing section. In case of such accumulation -Fill the detergent compartment without loading any dishes into the machine, select a programme that runs at high temperature, and start the machine. In case of insufficiency, use special cleansing material available in the market. (Cleansing material produced special to machines by detergent producers.)

Cleaning the seals in the machine door

-To clean any accumulated residues in the door seals, wipe the seals regularly by using a dampened cloth.

Cleaning the machine

Clean the filters and spray arms at least once a week.

Unplug your machine and turn off its tap before starting the cleaning.

Do not use hard materials when cleaning your machine. Wipe with a fine cleaning material and a dampened cloth.

Filters

Check if any food wastes have remained on the coarse and fine filters. If any food wastes are left, remove the filters and clean them thoroughly under the water tap.

To remove and clean the filter combination, turn it counter clockwise and take it out by lifting upwards.

Pull and remove the metal/plastic filter. 3 Then pull the coarse filter out of the micro filter.2 Rinse it with lots of water under the tap. Refit the metal/plastic filter. Insert the coarse filter into the micro filter in a way that the marks will correspond to one another. Attach micro filter into the metal/plastic filter and turn to the direction of arrow and it is locked when the arrow on micro filter can be seen from across. 4

• Never use your dishwasher without any filter.
• Incorrect fitting of the filter will reduce the washing effectiveness.

Spray arms

Check whether or not the holes for the upper and lower spray arms are clogged. If there is any clogging, remove the spray arms and clean them under water.

You can remove the lower spray arm by pulling it upwards, while the upper spray arm nut can be removed by turning the nut to the left.

Be sure that the nut is perfectly tightened when refitting the upper spray arm.

Hose filter

Water is prevented by the inlet hose filter so as to avoid any damage to your machine because of any contamination (sand, clay, rust etc.) that might be occasionally carried in through the mains water supply or the indoor plumbing, and to forestall such complaints as yellowing and formation of deposits after washing. Check the filter and the hose from time to time and clean them if necessary. To clean the filter, first turn off your tap and then remove the hose. After removing the filter from the hose, clean it under the tap. Insert the cleaned filter back into its place inside the hose. Refit the hose.

PRACTICAL AND USEFUL INFORMATION

1. Whenever you will not be operating your machine

- Unplug the machine and then turn the water off.

- Leave the door slightly ajar in order to prevent the formation of unpleasant smells.

- Keep the machine interior clean.

1. Eliminating water droplets

- Wash the dishes with the intensive programme.

•Take all of the metal containers in the machine out.

- Do not add detergent.

1. If you properly place your dishes into the machine, you will be using it in the best way in terms of energy consumption, washing and drying performance.

2. Clean all rough waste before you place dirty dishes to the machine.

3. Operate the machine after it is completely full.

4. Use pre-washing program only when necessary.

5. Observe program information and average consumption values table when selecting a program.

6. Since the machine will reach high temperatures, it should not be mounted near refrigerator.

7. If the appliance is located in a place where the risk of freezing exists, you must completely drain the water that has remained in the machine. Turn off the water tap, disconnect the water inlet hose from the tap and allow the interior water to drain

WARRANTY

1. Warranty

ILVE warrants that each ILVE product will remain, for a period of twenty four (24) months computed from the date of purchase of the ILVE product, free from defects arising in the manufacture of the ILVE product (“Warranty”). Except for consumer guarantees set out in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (“Act”), ILVE does not make any further warranties or representations in relation to ILVE products.

2. What is not Covered by the Warranty.

The Warranty does not apply if an ILVE product is defective by a factor other than a defect arising in the manufacture of the ILVE product, including but not limited to:

(a) damage through misuse (including failure to maintain, service or use with proper care), neglect, accident or ordinary wear and tear (including deterioration of parts and accessories and glass breakage);
(b) use for purpose for which the ILVE product was not sold or designed;
(c) use or installation which is not in accordance with any specified instructions for use or installation;
(d) use or operation after a defect has occurred or been discovered;
(e) damage through freight, transportation or handling in transit (other than when ILVE is responsible);
(f) damage through exposure to chemicals, dusts, residues, excessive voltage, heat, atmospheric conditions or other forces or environmental factors outside the control or ILVE;
(g) repair, modification or tampering by the purchaser or any person other than ILVE, an employee of ILVE or an authorised ILVE service contractor;
(h) use of parts, components or accessories which have not been supplied or specifically approved by ILVE.
(i) damage to surface coatings caused by cleaning or maintenance using products not recommended in the ILVE product handbook provided to the purchaser upon purchase of the ILVE product;
(j) damage to the base of an electric oven due to items having been placed on the base of the oven cavity or covering the base, such as aluminium foil (this impedes the transfer of heat from the element to the oven cavity and can result in irreparable damage); or
(k) damages, dents or other cosmetic imperfections not affecting the performance of the ILVE in respect of an ILVE product purchased as a “factory second” or from display. The Warranty does not extend to light globes used in ILVE products.
Each ILVE product is made for domestic use. This Warranty may not extend to ILVE products used for commercial purposes; under those circumstances the warranty period is limited to 3 month.
4. Time for Claim under the Warranty
You must make any claim under this Warranty within twenty eight (28) days after the occurrence of an event which gives rise to a claim pursuant to the Warranty, by booking a service call on the telephone number below.
5. Proof of Purchase
Customers must retain proof of purchase in order to be eligible to make a warranty claim in respect of an ILVE product.

6. Claiming under the Warranty

Customers will bear the cost of claiming under this Warranty unless ILVE determines the expenses are reasonable, in which case the customer must claim those expenses by providing written evidence of each expense to ILVE at the address on the Warranty Registration Card.

7. Statutory Rights

(a) These terms and conditions do not a ect your statutory rights.
(b) The limitations on the Warranty set out in this document do not exclude or limit the application of the consumer guarantees set out in the Act or any other equivalent or corresponding legislation in the relevant jurisdiction where to do so would:
(i) contravene the law of the relevant jurisdiction; or (ii) cause any part of the Warranty to be void.
(c) ILVE excludes indirect or consequential loss of any kind (including, without limitation, loss of use of the ILVE product) and (other than expressly provided for in these terms and conditions) subject to all terms, conditions and warranties implied by custom, the general law, the Act or other statute.
(d) The liability of ILVE to you for a breach of any express or non-excludable implied term, condition or warranty is limited at the option of ILVE to:
(i) replacing or repairing the defective part of the ILVE product;
(ii) paying the cost of replacing or repairing the defective part of the ILVE product;
(iii) replacing the ILVE product; or
(iv) paying the cost of replacing the ILVE product.
(e) Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

8. Defects

Any part of an ILVE product deemed to be defective and replaced by ILVE is the property of ILVE. ILVE reserves the right to inspect and test ILVE products in order to determine the extent of any defect and the validity of a claim under the Warranty.

Service is delivered through a network of Service Agents. If the Appliance is located outside our normal Service Area of our agents you, the Customer will need to bear the cost of travel outside that area.

If you are unable to provide proof of purchase, the fault is not covered under warranty or the product is found to be working to specification you may be required to bear the full cost of the service visit
