How to fill the foot bath?

Make sure the appliance is unplugged, then pour water up to the internal fill line. For quicker hot water, use hot tap water.

Can I use the foot bath while standing?

No, never stand on or inside the appliance. Use it only while sitting to avoid injury.

How to activate the Heat Boost water heating?

Press the power button with your toe to select the heating mode. The water will be heated and maintained at an ideal temperature.

What if the foot bath does not heat?

Check that the appliance is plugged into a properly grounded 120 V outlet. Ensure the water level does not exceed the fill line and that the heating button is activated.

How to use the pumice stone and brush?

Pull the pedicure accessory to remove it. Use the pumice stone to smooth heels and the brush to exfoliate. Rinse and replace after use.

• Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.

- Never use any foot spa on open wounds, discolored areas, or any area of the body that is swollen, burned, inflamed, or where skin eruptions or sores are present.
- If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom of a more serious condition.
- DO NOT use while sleepy or drowsy.
- Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.

This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for the electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

DANGER

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product - if it will not fit the outlet, you may temporarily use an adapter (such as the one shown in Figure B) until you have a proper outlet (such as the one shown in Figure C) installed by a qualified electrician.

This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounding plug that looks like the plug illustrated in Figure A. A temporary adapter that looks like the adapter illustrated in Figure B may be used to connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in Figure D if a properly grounded outlet is not available. The temporary adapter should be used only until a properly grounded outlet Figure C can be installed by a qualified electrician. The tab for grounding screw Figure B extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the adapter is used, it must be held in place by a metal screw. See Figures D and E.

BUBBLE SPA ELITE FOOTBATH

• Heat Boost Power heats water to warm spa temperature in minutes and maintains temperature throughout use.
• Easy controls to select bubble massage and heat boost power.
• Pedicure center with removable dual pumice stone and cleansing brush attachment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Ensure that the unit is unplugged before filling with water. Fill with water to the fill line located on the inside of the tub. For a quicker heat boost, fill with warm water. Once water reaches selected temperature, it will stay at this temperature for as long as the heat function is selected. CAUTION: Do not fill water over the fill line.
2. Place the unit on a waterproof surface, or any surface that cannot be damaged by splashing water.
3. Plug the unit into a 120 volt household outlet.
4. Sit down in a comfortable position. With the touch of your toe, press the power button to activate the bubble massage and heat boost.
5. To use the pedicure center:

a. To utilize the dual sided pedicure tool, simply pull up on the attachment to remove from the unit.

• Pumice Stone: Contoured pumice cradles the heels and balls of your feet to smooth and soften dry skin.
  • Cleansing Brush: Use to cleanse and exfoliate your feet.
  b. When finished with the pedicure attachment, rinse and allow to dry. To replace the pedicure attachment, place back into the attachment storage area.

• Enjoy a manual massage by sliding feet back and forth over the sensuous seagrass inserts on the footbath floor.

• To empty: first, unplug the unit. Take the footbath to the closest drain and tip the unit allowing water to pour out along the drain spout. DO NOT pour water over the control panel.

NOTE: To reduce splashing due to different water displacements of feet, raise or lower the water level of the footbath.

Caution: To avoid injury and irreparable damage, always remain seated when using this footbath. Never stand on or in the unit.

MAINTENANCE

TO CLEAN

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, damp cloth and mild cleansing agent.

• After cleaning, wipe surfaces with a dry cloth.
- Never use strong abrasives, detergents, or cleansing agents.
• Periodically straighten cord if it becomes twisted.

TO STORE

Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow to cool and dry.

• Store in its box or a clean, dry place.

- To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the unit.

- Do not hang the unit by the power cord.

• This appliance is designed for household use only.

HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers. To obligate HoMedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product: improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer's recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair, or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.
