  16. When blending hot liquids, remove center piece of two-piece cover (if a two-piece cover is provided). Beware of steam. Do not blend boiling liquids.
  17. Do not use appliance for other than intended use. Misuse can cause injuries. Always use appliance on a dry, stable, level surface. Never fill beyond the MAX fill line.
  18. If your blender comes with a grounded plug, connect to properly grounded outlets only. For containers with no lids or vents (when inserted in the blender), such as personal Blend and Go containers:
  19. Do not blend carbonated, hot or boiling liquids and ingredients, as this may create pressure buildup. Only blend non-carbonated liquids and ingredients that are at room temperature or cooler. If the container is warm to the touch, allow to cool before opening.
  20. Do not use the blender for longer than 1 minute at a time to avoid heat and pressure buildup. Allow to cool for 1 minute between cycles.

USING YOUR BLENDER

Your product includes the following technology and features:

- Food Chop (PROCESADOR DE ALIMENTOS / SALSAS) – Allows to slice, shred or chop ingredients in blending jar (i.e. soups, purees, salsas, etc.).
- Reversible Motor Technology – The exclusive reversible motor technology spins blades in both directions to completely process all ingredients.
- Threaded Cup Bottom with Locking Lever – Advanced design for simple assembly to jar. Seals jar to blade for leak-proof operation.
- Blade (2X Larger Blade System than Traditional Oster ^ Blenders) – 3-in-1 multi-blade system precisely pulverizes, chops and mixes evenly.
- Manual Controls – Give you the flexibility to operate the blender to customize your recipes.
- Pulse Button – Press to pulse. Allows you to achieve precise results.
- Filler Cap / 2-Ounce Scoop – Scoop function that allows you to measure and add ingredients during use. Also allows you to open lid to allow steam to escape while blending hot foods.

Before you use the product for the first time, separate the filler cap / 2-ounce scoop, jar lid, 1.5 L jar, sealing ring, blade and threaded cup bottom. Wash in warm, soapy water, or top rack in the dishwasher. Rinse and dry well.

  1. Place blade into threaded cup bottom (Fig. 1).
  2. Place sealing ring over blade assembly. Carefully press and tuck sealing ring into last groove of threaded cup bottom (Fig. 2).
  3. Ensure the locking sealing ring is fully and evenly tucked in place and holding the blade assembly to the threaded cup bottom. For correct assembly see (Fig. 3).

  1. Install the integrated blade assembly onto the jar. Tum clockwise to tighten. Be sure the integrated blade assembly is tightened to the jar before using. NOTE: For proper installation onto blender motor base, make sure locking lever rotates past the anti-rotation tabs on the blender jar or Blend-N-Go cup. See (Fig. 4).

CAUTION: If locking lever is damaged or missing, do not operate blender, and contact Customer Service for a replacement.

  1. Put the ingredients into the jar.

  2. Secure the lid and filler cap

  3. Place the jar onto the base.

  4. Plug the power cord into a standard household outlet of the same voltage as the one indicated in the rating plate of your blender. You are now ready to start.

Using the Automatic Programs

  1. Press the ON/OFF ( ) power button to turn the product on. The power light will blink, indicating the product is active and ready for use. The light will stay on when the motor is running.
  2. Select and press the desired automatic pre-programmed setting button:
  3. Juices and Smoothies (JUGOS Y SMOOTHIES) - Perfect for blending any kind of beverage
  4. Food Chop (PROCESADOR DE ALIMENTOS / SALSAS) – Allows to slice, shred or chop ingredients in blending jar (i.e. soups, purees, salsas, etc.)
  5. To change your selection, press ON/OFF ( twice followed by another Pre-Programmed Setting button Juices / Smoothies or Food Chop ("JUGOS Y SMOOTHIES" or "PROCESADOR DE ALIMENTOS / SALSAS").
  6. Once the program is complete the product automatically stops. Please note: You may press the ON/OFF (按钮) button to cancel the program at any time. The blinking green light indicates that the blender is ready.
  7. Press the ON/OFF (power button to turn the product off. This product is pre-programmed to turn off automatically if not used for a period of several minutes. All lights will turn off when the unit automatically powers down.

Using the Manual and Digital controls

Manual Controls include:

Pulse (PULSO)

Use these controls for personal recipes or to continue blending after an automatic program is finished.

  1. Press the ON/OFF (○) power button to turn the product on. The power light will blink, meaning the product is active and ready for use. The light will stay on when the motor is running.
  2. Put the ingredients into the jar.
  3. Secure the lid and the filler cap.

  1. Press the "1" button to run the product at a low speed.
  2. Press the ON/OFF ( ) power button to turn the product off.

Medium

  1. Press the "2" button to run the product at a medium speed.

High

  1. Press the "3" button to run the product at a high speed.
  2. Press the ON/OFF ( 🔊 power button to turn the product off.

Pulse

  1. Press and hold the "PULSO" button.
  2. Release the pulse button to stop.
  3. Press the ON/OFF ( ⏻ ) power button to turn the product off.
    NOTE: Use pulse button to crush ice or chop food.

Using the touch screen control

  1. Plug in the blender. Once plugged in, press the ON/OFF ( Ⓧ power button for one second to turn the blender on.
  2. Select setting and blend ingredients to desired consistency. Note: control panel lists function as well as desired outcome.
  3. Press the ON/OFF ( ∅power button to stop and turn off blender.
  4. Press and hold "PULSO" for ice crushing and chopping. Repeat as needed.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

After Use:

  1. Lift the jar straight up from the base, remove the lid and empty the jar.
  2. If necessary, use a rubber spatula to scrape foods away from the sides of the jar.

Cleaning the 1.5 L jar and its accessories

WARNING: Blade is sharp. Handle with care.

Release the multi-functional blade from the bottom of the jar by turning the threaded cup bottom counterclockwise.

The filler cap / 2-ounce scoop, jar lid, 1.5 L jar, sealing ring, blade and threaded cup bottom, are dishwasher safe. Use the top rack of the dishwasher to wash these parts. The locking sealing ring can be placed into bottom basket of dishwasher.

You can also wash the parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry. Check the parts as you put them back together.

Cleaning the Blend-N-Go cup (models with Blend-N-Go accessory only)

Wash all components except blender base with soapy water with a soft sponge and a bottlebrush. Do not use abrasive cleansers or sponges for cleaning. Rinse well and dry. Parts are also dishwasher safe.

Cleaning the Blender

Wipe the base with a soft, damp cloth to clean. Never submerge the base in a liquid.

STORING

Reassemble the blender for storage. Leave the lid open a gap so no odors are retained.

BLENDING TIPS

Liquids

Put liquids into the jar first, unless the recipe says otherwise.

Using the jar lid filler cap / 2-ounce scoop

Do not remove the lid while in use. Food may splatter if you do. Instead, open the jar lid filler cap / 2-ounce scoop to add smaller ingredients.

Working with Hot Foods or Liquids

WARNING: When you work with HOT FOODS, remove the jar lid filler cap / 2-ounce scoop to vent steam. Tilt the lid away from you partially covering the opening. Keep hands and other exposed skin away from the lid opening to prevent possible burns.

When you work with HOT LIQUIDS, remove the jar lid filler cap / 2-ounce scoop and start at a low speed, and then gradually increase to a faster speed. Do not add liquid over the 4-cup level. Always keep hands away from steam.

Ingredients Quantities
