Frequently Asked Questions - OT100E Khind

How do I use the rotisserie function?
Insert the rotisserie spit through the food (max 3.5 kg) and secure with clamps. Place the spit in the oven, set the function to Rotisserie (or combination), choose temperature and time. The spit rotates automatically. Use the Rotisserie Spit Handle to remove it.
Why does the rotisserie stop turning during cooking?
The rotisserie may stop when the oven reaches the set temperature. When the temperature drops, power resumes and the spit turns again. This is normal. The rotisserie also stops when the timer ends.
How do I set a cooking time less than 10 minutes?
Turn the timer knob past the 10-minute mark first, then turn it back to the desired time (e.g., 5 minutes). This ensures accurate short timing on mechanical timers.
What should I do if smoke comes out during first use?
Smoke and smell are normal during the first 15-minute burn-in. Wipe interior with a wet cloth, set both upper and lower heating, and run the oven empty for 15 minutes. Open a window for ventilation.
Can I use metal foil in the oven?
Do not cover the baking tray or any part of the oven with metal foil as it may cause overheating. You can wrap food in foil placed on the baking tray.
How do I defrost food in this oven?
Set the temperature to 100°C, select lower heating element and convection. Defrost for 40-50 minutes depending on food size. Refer to food packaging for recommended times.
What is the recommended way to clean the oven?
Unplug and let the oven cool. Wipe the interior with a soft cloth or sponge dipped in neutral cleaning solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Wash the baking rack and tray in hot water with a sponge.
What is the maximum food weight for rotisserie?
Do not cook more than 3.5 kg of food with the rotisserie function to avoid overloading the motor.
How much space should I leave around the oven?
Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of free space on all sides for proper air circulation.
What type of containers can I use inside the oven?
Use only ceramic or metal containers suitable for oven use. Do not use cardboard, plastic, or other combustible materials.
