How do I use the rotisserie function on my Khind OT26 oven?
To use the rotisserie: 1) Insert the first spit onto the skewer and secure with thumbscrew. 2) Place the skewer through the center of the food, ensuring it is balanced. 3) Insert the second spit and secure. 4) Insert the pointy end of the skewer into the drive socket and rest the square end on the support. 5) Place a baking tray on a lower rack to catch drips. 6) Turn the function knob to the rotisserie symbol (≡). 7) Select temperature and timer. 8) Use the rotisserie handle to remove the food after cooking.
What is the maximum temperature of the Khind OT26 oven?
The maximum temperature is 230°C. You can select any temperature between 90°C and 230°C using the temperature selector knob.
How do I clean the Khind OT26 oven?
Always unplug and let cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and neutral detergent. Wash the baking rack and trays in hot water with a sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.
Why does my oven produce smoke or smell when first used?
This is normal. When first used, the protective coating on the heating elements burns off, causing minimal smoke and odor for about 15 minutes. Run the oven at 230°C on the toast function without food to eliminate this.
Can I use metal foil in the oven?
Do not cover the baking tray or any part of the oven with metal foil as it can cause overheating. However, you may use foil to wrap food placed on the baking tray.
How much space should I leave around the oven?
Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of free space on all sides of the oven for proper air circulation.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not use the appliance. The cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard.
How do I use the convection function?
Insert the baking rack with food and tray. Turn the function knob to the convection setting (≡). Select the desired temperature and timer. The convection fan circulates hot air for even cooking. You can also combine convection with rotisserie by selecting the appropriate setting.
Can I bake two trays at once?
Yes, you can use both baking trays simultaneously. For best results, position the trays on the bottom and middle support guides. Rotate them halfway through cooking if needed.
What accessories come with the Khind OT26 oven?
