Frequently Asked Questions - LB3010 BLAUPUNKT

How do I charge the battery for the first time?
Charge the battery fully before first use. Use the supplied charger and plug it into a standard outlet. The charging time is approximately 1 hour. The LED on the charger will turn green when fully charged.
What is the correct way to insert a screwdriver bit?
Open the keyless chuck by rotating the sleeve counterclockwise. Insert the bit with a 1/4 inch hex shank fully into the chuck. Tighten by rotating the sleeve clockwise until secure.
How do I adjust the torque setting?
Rotate the torque adjustment ring located behind the chuck. Higher numbers provide more torque for driving screws into harder materials. Start with a lower setting and increase if needed to avoid stripping screws.
What should I do if the drill stops suddenly?
The tool is equipped with overload protection. If it stops, release the trigger and allow the tool to cool down. Check for a jammed bit or excessive load. Reduce pressure and try again.
How do I clean and maintain the tool?
After use, wipe the exterior with a dry cloth. Do not use water or solvents. Keep the ventilation slots free of dust. Periodically check the chuck for debris and lubricate the chuck threads lightly with machine oil.
Can I use the drill as a screwdriver?
Yes, the LB3010 has a variable speed trigger and torque adjustment, making it suitable for driving screws. Use the appropriate screwdriver bit and set the torque to a low setting to prevent over-tightening.
What is the recommended battery storage condition?
Store the battery in a cool, dry place at room temperature (15-25°C). Avoid exposing to direct sunlight or extreme heat. For long-term storage, keep the battery at about 50% charge.
How do I know when the battery is fully charged?
The charger has an LED indicator: red means charging, green means fully charged. The charging time is typically 60 minutes for a fully depleted battery.
What safety precautions should I take?
Always wear safety glasses. Keep hands away from rotating parts. Disconnect the battery before changing accessories. Do not use the tool in wet conditions. Ensure the work area is well-lit.
What is the warranty coverage?
The Blaupunkt LB3010 comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. It does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or unauthorized repairs. Keep your proof of purchase.
