How to activate the mist function?

Ensure the water tank is filled with water up to the maximum capacity. Press the MIST button on the control panel. The mist function can be used even if the fan is not running. You can adjust the mist speed between Mist Min and Mist Max.

How to clean the water tank?

Fill the water tank with water, add a mild detergent, and shake well. Hold the tank with both hands (do not use the handle). After shaking, remove the water and rinse thoroughly. The water tank should be cleaned at least once a week.

What does the ECO mode do?

ECO mode automatically adjusts the fan speed and mode based on the actual room temperature detected. For example, at 22°C or below it runs Normal mode at speed 1; between 22-25°C it runs Natural mode at speed 2; higher temperatures increase speed accordingly. The LCD screen displays the current speed and temperature.

How to set the timer?

Press the TIMER button repeatedly to select the desired hours (up to 9 hours). The fan will automatically turn off after the set time.

How to change the fan speed?

Press the SPEED button to cycle through 8 speed settings. The current speed is shown on the LCD screen.

How to use the oscillation feature?

Press the OSCILLATE button. The fan will automatically oscillate from left to right.

What does the mist lamp indicator mean?

The mist lamp turns green when the mist function is on and the water tank has water. It turns red when the water tank is empty, indicating a need to refill.

Can the fan be used outdoors?

No, this fan is designed for indoor household use only. Do not use it outdoors or near water sources to avoid electric shock.

How to disassemble the fan for cleaning?

First, unplug the unit. Unscrew the screws on the front guard. Remove the front guard, fan blade, and rear guard. Wash them with soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reassembling. Do not immerse the motor or electronic parts.

How to register the warranty?

CONTROL PANEL:

MIST

• Mist Function can be used even the fan is not working.
• Turn on the unit and press .
• Mist Speed Control: Mist Min and Mist Max.

Note:

1. Make sure that the water tank is filled with water.

TIMER

• Timer can be set up to 9 hours
• Press a TIME select the desire hours.

OSCILLATE

- Press a bit will automatically oscillate from left to right.

MODE

• Default mode is Normal
• Mode Selection: Normal, Natural, Sleep and ECO
• Press a MODE select the desire function.

ECO MODE

- The mist fan will be in accordance with the actual detected room temperature as follow.

• At 22°C or below: Normal Mode & 1 Set Wind Speed
  • 22-25°C: Natural Mode & 2 Wind Speed
  • 25-28°C: Natural Mode & 7 Wind Speed
  • 28-32°C: Natural Mode & 7 Wind Speed
  • Over 32°C: Normal Mode & 8 Wind Speed

Note:

1. LCD Screen will display corresponding speed setting and temperature.
2. After setting the ECO MODE function, the unit will automatically test the environment temperature for about 30 seconds.

SPEED

• IFM-588D have 8 speed setting.
• Press 🎨 to select your desire speed. LCD Screen will display the

corresponding speed.

HOW TO USE:

1. Lift the water tank and turn upside down.
2. Open the water tank cover.
3. Fill the water tank with water up to the maximum capacity.

Note: Do not exceed beyond the maximum capacity.

1. Lock the cover back on.
2. Turn the water tank upside down and return it to the base.
3. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
4. Turn ON the unit and choose the desired function.

Note: 'Mist Lamp' will turn into green when the mist fan is ON and red if the water tank is empty.

*Switch to "OSCILLATE" if you desire to use the oscillate function

1. Turn OFF the unit after every use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

1. Always disconnect the unit from the convenience outlet before disassembling the unit.
2. To disassemble the unit, unscrew the guards.
3. Wash the front fan guard, fan blade and rear fan guard with soap and water.
4. Use a moistened cloth (NOT WET) to remove the dirt from the plastic and metal surfaces of mist fan.
5. Allow the detachable parts to dry off before assembling the unit.

How to Clean the Water Tank

1. Fill the water tank with water.
2. Put a mild detergent and then shake it well.
3. Hold the water tank with both hands and do not hold it with the handle.
4. After shaking, remove the water and rinse it thoroughly.

NOTE: The water tank should be cleaned once a week.
