3. Basic operation

3.1 Charging the case and earphones

Note: The case and earbuds have internal, non-removable, rechargeable batteries. Do not attempt to remove the battery as you may damage the device.

1. To charge the case, plug the supplied USB cable into a power source and the Type-C USB port on the case. Likewise, you can also place the device on a wireless charging pad which is user-supplied. The case starts charging automatically using either method.
   Note: Charging the case on a wireless charging pad will depend on the user's kind of charging pad and on where the case is placed on the wireless charging pad. In certain cases, the case will not necessarily be charged by placing it in the center of the wireless charging pad, but rather by placing it in some other position on the wireless charging pad.
2. Charging the case battery to its full capacity may take approximately 3.5 hours.
3. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator light will become solid white.
4. Proceed to unplug the case from the power source and place the earphones on the sockets of the charging case.
5. While the earbuds are being charged, the white LED indicator on each side lights up. The LED will turn off when their batteries reach full capacity. This process will normally take about 1.5 hours.
6. The fully charged earbuds have power for up to 7 hours of playtime or up to 200 hours of standby time. However, these times may vary

depending on the mobile device used, on the usage profile, and the types of files being played.

1. A low battery tone and an orange LED will let you know that the voltage is below the acceptable levels to continue operating properly.

3.2 Turning your earphones on or off

1. To power on the device, open the charging case and remove the earbuds. They will start the pairing process automatically. Otherwise, press and hold the Multifunction button on each side for about 7 seconds until a tone is heard.
2. As both earbuds synchronize with each other, the orange and white LEDs will start alternating quickly.
3. To turn the earbuds off, simply put them back in the charging case or press and hold the Multifunction button on either side for about 7 seconds. The power off tone will be heard, making the orange LED blink briefly on both sides prior to switching off completely.

IMPORTANT: Since the control buttons are sensitive to the touch, ensure to hold the earbuds by the stem when handling them. This will avoid accidentally tapping the touch buttons.

4. Advanced operation

Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device is Bluetooth® compatible.

4.1 Pairing the earbuds with your mobile device

I. Turn both earbuds on by removing them from the charging case or by pressing the Multifunction button for about 7 seconds. Both earbuds will automatically pair.
2. Set your Bluetooth® mobile device to "discover" the wireless earbuds.
3. Place the earbuds and your phone not more than three feet away from each other.
4. When pairing them for the first time, the LEDs on both earbuds glow alternately orange and white, indicating that they are also ready to enter into the pairing mode.
5. On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device KTE-250 being displayed in the Bluetooth® list.
6. When the mobile device asks if you want to pair with it, click Yes or OK to accept.
7. If pairing is successful, the connected tone will be heard and the earbud's LED indicator will start slowly blinking white.

You can also check the battery level on the status bar of your phone. This is only supported on Android devices

1. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 6 as described above.

2. The earbuds automatically go into standby mode after a short period of inactivity to save battery life.

3. You only need to pair the earbuds with your mobile phone once, as they will reconnect with memorized devices automatically.

4.2 Call management using your wireless earbuds

• When there is an incoming call, your phone will ring along with a tone through your earbuds.
• Briefly press the Multifunction button on either side to pick it up. You may also press the answer button on your cellular phone to receive the incoming communication in your earphones.
  • To end a call, simply press the Multifunction button on either earbud once again. Likewise, you may also end the call directly by tapping the hang up key on your smartphone.
  • To ignore an incoming communication and send the caller to voicemail, press and hold the Multifunction button on either earbud for about 2 seconds.

4.3 Music playback and voice command using your wireless earbuds

• Briefly press the Multifunction button on either one of the earbuds to start and stop audio playback.
• Double tap the Multifunction button on the right/left earbud to select the next the track
• Triple tap the Multifunction button on the right/left earbud to select the previous the track.
• To enable the voice command feature on supported devices, press and hold either earbud button for about 2 seconds when in playback or standby mode.

5. Proper care

5.1 Troubleshooting

If you cannot connect the earbuds to your mobile phone, do as follows:

- Ensure that the earbuds are charged, switched on, paired with and connected to your phone.

- Ensure that the Bluetooth® feature is activated on your phone.

- Check that the device is within 30 feet of your phone and that there are no obstructions

between the headset and the phone, such as walls or other electronic devices.

5.2 Precautions

• Your earphones are powered by rechargeable batteries. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out. Recharge your battery only with compatible chargers designated for this device.
• Unplug the USB charger from the source when not in use.
• Parts of the device are magnetic. Metallic materials may be attracted to the headset. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage media near the earphones, as the information stored on them may be erased.
• Do NOT drop, hit or shake the device.
• Do NOT disassemble, repair or modify the earphones yourself.
• Do NOT use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the device.
• Do NOT expose the earphones to excessive heat or to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• Do NOT store the device in a place with high humidity or dust.
